At Isaac's apartment, Isaac gives the courier the art for a new issue of 9th Wonders! to deliver to the publisher. The courier says that he has been dying to find out what happens to Hiro. Isaac makes the courier promise not to post any spoilers and shows him a drawing of Hiro in the future. Isaac then gives the courier his sketchbook, telling him it may be worth something one day.
The Eclipse, Part 2
At Sam's Comics in Lawrence, Sam tells Matt and Ando of a supposed legend about an unreleased issue of 9th Wonders!, saying that it resided in Isaac Mendez's sketchbook and was bequeathed unto a lowly bike courier the day of his death. He tells the Matt and Ando that if they find the courier, they will find the next step in their journey.
Our Father
A dispatcher mentions to Matt, Daphne, and Ando that the courier was fired and that Isaac Mendez's sketchbook was found in his office afterward.
Trivia
- Originally, Pierluigi Cothran, a huge comic book fan in real life, was supposed to play the part of the fanboy. In fact, according to Andrew Chambliss's commentary for .07%, he had rehearsed the scene many times with some of the other personal assistants. However, when the time came, Pierluigi couldn't make it.
