Synopsis

Elle approaches her father to tell him that despite Sylar having escaped they don't need to search for him since he's likely to show up at The Company to try to steal the abilities of the people on Level 5. When her father doesn't reply, she walks up to him and finds that he's been killed and his brain removed. Elle proceeds to Level 5 to release Noah and enlist his help in finding Sylar only to find that Sylar is already on Level 5. Sylar knocks Elle away and Noah leaves the cell and shoots Sylar 8 times in the torso. Sylar collapses but quickly expels the bullets and stands back up. Noah attempts to shoot him again, but Sylar telekinetically knocks him away. Sylar turns to Elle and begins to slice her head open. Elle screams and unleashes a powerful electrical burst that incapacitates Sylar, but also disables the power grid on Level 5 allowing the captives to escape.

Hiro teleports himself and Ando to Paris to try to find the missing half of the formula stolen by Daphne. When they can't find the formula Hiro devises a scheme. He takes an award Daphne won and tells her if she wants it back she has to give him the formula she stole. Daphne tries several times to chase Hiro and take the medal from him, but he's able to teleport too quickly for her. She eventually relents and agrees to return it. Hiro gives Ando the medal to give to Daphne, but Daphne tricks them and tries to steal the formula from Ando. Hiro stops time, but not before Daphne puts a knife to Ando's neck. After cutting Ando slightly, Hiro backs down and lets her get away with the formula and her medal. After unfreezing time Ando complains that Hiro's plan failed, however Hiro reveals that he hid a tracking device on the medal. Hiro tracks her to Germany and teleports them both away.

Governer Malden suggests to Tracy Strauss, a political aide bearing a close similarily to Niki Sanders, that Nathan Petrelli would be a good choice for a senate position they're trying to fill. Tracy agrees and meets with Nathan. Nathan believes Tracy is actually Niki, but Tracy denies it. Later she is accosted again by a reporter who has a copy of the Corinthian video showing Niki (actually Jessica at the time) in the bedroom with Nathan. Tracy again denies that it's her, but the reporter tells her that he's going to release the story. Tracy grapples with him when suddenly the reporter begins to freeze and turn to ice. He falls and shatters into small pieces. Tracy is left stunned.

Peter Petrelli (future) (II) confess his crime to his brother and Nathan forgives him. Nathan also learn that only he can see and hear Daniel Linderman's ghost.

Maya returns to Mohinder's lab and finds him hanging from a beam in the ceiling. He jumps down gracefully and reveals to Maya that he tried his experimental serum on himself. He further demonstrates his newfound abilities by climbing up the side of a wall and perching at the top. He claims to Maya that it's had no ill effects on him, however his behavior is markedly more aggressive. He begins kissing Maya. He wakes up later feeling strangely and checks himself in the mirror and finds strange hard lesions on his back.

Matt Parkman continues his trek into the African Desert where he meet a mysterious guide named Usutu who seems to know Matt very well.

Angela Petrelli try to warn Peter that trying to change the future can be very dangerous, but Peter refuse to listen. After the discussion, Angela visits Sylar, who has been captured, in his cell at Level 5 and reveal to him that she's his mother.
