File:Sylar Eyes.png SYLAR EYES ARE WATCHING YOU WHILST HE CUTS YOUR HEAD OPEN. --Arkillion 08:58, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Whoa! Those eyes just go right through you!--Alen76 09:45, 17 February 2009 (EST)
  • Objects in the rear view mirror are more psycho than they appear! Revengeance 07:07, 18 February 2009 (EST)

Indian Food?!

What an amazing line, sort of like when Sylar shouts "CAKE?" when he murders Sue Landers. After writing for like an hour of summary I have to admit that ending was really awesome, Noah just passes out and Peter has such a cute smile as he goes "We'll get him somewhere safe" but it's just so hilarious how they just literally appear and take him off like ninjas. --Arkillion 08:15, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Yeah, that was awesome.--Alen76 09:44, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Ando

I think that Ando is finally going to have a proper role in this section for he is going to be the one to power Peter so that he can take more than one power at a time.

Nice theory. But I think that Peter's power is going to evolve by itself. But maybe, if there will be a confrontation, Ando could help Peter that way.--Alen76 09:48, 17 February 2009 (EST)
  • I really like this theory. I hope that happens --Milojim 10:31, 17 February 2009 (EST)
It would make more sense if Claude reappears and teaches Peter again. He's still alive somewhere. Or maybe someone else, or maybe Peter will have to learn by himself. Ando can only amplify; with his power Peter could pick up on a bigger range. (see: when Ando amplifies Parkman, it boosts his range, not his strenght on minds nor his "level" (seeing images for example).)

Dania?

The NBC website says that Dania Ramirez will star in this episode. Is this true, or are our sources wrong yet once again about Maya? (Dania was said to be in several episodes that she wasn’t in, in the last volume.) However, her being in the last graphic novel suggests that we haven't seen the last of her character after all. Any thoughts?--Mohinder613 (my talk page) 14:28, 10 February 2009 (EST)

  • It could be that she'll be around next week. I guess we'll have to wait and see.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:19, 10 February 2009 (EST)
  • She's listed as part of the cast, on each episode's press release. It means that she's part of the season's cast, not that she's in the episode. Remember that this is still Season 3. - Josh (talk/contribs) 15:25, 10 February 2009 (EST)
    • Thank you, I wasn’t sure if the (as listed) “show cast” literally meant the cast of the season or individual episode. Yes, I have read every “next on Heroes” for the past fourteen episodes, but I apologize, I just had it in my head that it was for the episode’s cast. Still, I have this feeling (or fear) that Maya will be back. (She’s not my favorite character.) --Mohinder613 (my talk page) 23:57, 10 February 2009 (EST)

Epic Episode

I loved this episode. The scene with Tracy's escape was wonderful; I was glad to see her victim wobble a little instead of simply stiffening. Sylar and Luke are great. Also, from a show that rarely plays contemporary music, I was overjoyed to have Sylar serenaded by one of my favorite songs, Psycho Killer by Talking Heads. Great one altogether. Kortu 22:12, 16 February 2009 (EST)

  • Agreed, it was as great as always. I was disappointed when Sylar left Luke but that made it that much better when he went back to get him. Bloodbath 22:17, 16 February 2009 (EST)
    • That ending was GRREAT!!!!!!! Did not see that one coming. --Crazylicious 23:06, 16 February 2009 (EST)
      • The ending was superb, but I was thinking to myself that Peter was even shown once in this episode. Enter the finale and I was proven wrong. --TrueBlueBrooklynite 23:07, 16 February 2009 (EST)
  • can someone lpease tell me the ending
    • Noah was drinking in a bar and apparently Peter, Matt, and I guess Mohinder drugged his drink. Noah passed out and P/M/H carried him off. Bloodbath 00:11, 17 February 2009 (EST)
  • I loved the episode as well. I think it's one of the best in the series. Psycho Killer... haha!--Alen76 09:12, 17 February 2009 (EST)
  • I thought the ending could have been predictable. Simply because it was odd Noah was in a bar, not because it's his style or anything, but because how important would it have been to the story. Something had to have happened in that scene to make it relevant to the story. But I suppose it being Peter, Matt, and Mohinder was the shocking thing. --Dman dustin 14:12, 17 February 2009 (EST)
    • Noah was in the hotel bar because he had just been kicked out of his house by his wife - I think that'd put anyone (especially such a 'family man') on a barstool. Does anyone else think that Noah's drink was NOT drugged, but Matt worked some crazy magic on him from the other side of the wall? The bartender poured the drink, I don't think she would have slipped him anything. --Jessica13 15:58, 17 February 2009 (EST)
      • I thought of that. Dracomaster4 16:29, 17 February 2009 (EST)
      • Jessica13, I know why NOAH was there, not why they had to show us him drinking over his troubles. That's why it was suspicious, why would they show us Noah drinking in a bar, if it had no bearing on the plot. And as we seen, it was important, because Peter, Matt, and Mohinder took him. --Dman dustin 00:32, 18 February 2009 (EST)
      • I figured that Matt worked his magic on the bartender and had her slip something in the drink.--Gleezus 11:30, 19 February 2009 (EST)

Who is being hunted?

Nathan had a nice little bulletin board with a lot of pictures. Can anyone get a screenshot or two of the board so we can start identifying people? Redirect

Okay, Building 26 currently redirects to the actual building. This is somewhat problematic, especially since the link on the front page even redirects there. What can be done? --Crazylicious 23:26, 16 February 2009 (EST)

  • Any references to the episode must point to the article which is Episode:Building 26. Any that point to the redirect that usually exists have to be updated. (Admin 23:28, 16 February 2009 (EST))
  • I also didn't realize the AOTW template was now using the currentep information, so I reverted my changes to currentep until the new episode article is a little more complete. I updated the article of the week template so that even when we do switch it to the new episode the link will be fixed and now point to the episode article rather than the building. (Admin 23:34, 16 February 2009 (EST))
    • I think Building 26 should direct to the episode, with a disambig.--Riddler 23:44, 16 February 2009 (EST)
      • I agree, Riddler. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:53, 16 February 2009 (EST)
      • No, the Episode: namespace was originally created to address this exact scenario where an episode name matched some other article. The redirects in the main namespace that exist for every episode should never have been added in the first place. They contaminate the namespace, however until now it's almost never been an issue. The Episode: namespace is for episodes and the main namespace is for anything that we don't have a dedicated namespace for (which is generally everything we don't expect to see a naming collision with). We just need to go through and fix the dependencies we currently have on the episode redirects. (Admin 23:55, 16 February 2009 (EST))
        • Gotcha. I am only concerned because I think there must be some templates that use PAGENAME when referring to the episode name, which means Building 26 would be talking about the episode, but would direct to the location. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I'm sure we'll run into them soon enough...It also means some extra work to go through and make sure the links direct to the right place, but that's less of an issue and more just taking an extra second to be exacting. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:13, 17 February 2009 (EST)
          • I found a couple of them already and corrected them. I brought this up a little while ago here because I saw this coming once I saw the episode was the same name as a location. Once we find them and correct them we'll be in pretty good shape. (Admin 00:15, 17 February 2009 (EST))
  • Okay, so I just want to be explicit for anybody who will be linking to one of the two articles. When referring to the government building in which Nathan works, please use Building 26 to link to Building 26. When referring to the episode, please use Episode:Building 26 (note the extra pipe) or Episode:Building 26 (in the case of Character History headings) to link to Episode:Building 26. When citing the episode, the episode namespace should always be stripped or removed. That's done by piping. Thanks, all! If there are any questions, please ask. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:38, 17 February 2009 (EST)

New actors and characters

Okay, there's a whole slew this week! Here goes...

It's the agents that are going to be the biggest killer. I didn't include them in Template:AppearancesBuilding 26 because I'm not sure which is which. It doesn't help that the names aren't very descriptive, and that we're missing images for one of them. I'll have to go back and really study the episode to figure out which is which. If somebody else would like to do that, it would sure save me a lot of time! Thanks... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:53, 17 February 2009 (EST)

  • Dang, more numbered guys. I never liked them; but we always get these issues with agents, guards, officers, etc. Which reminds me of the Primatech guards that still need to be deleted. Oh well, at least these guys are credited, which gives more of a reason to add them in. If no-one has rewatched the episode and figured out which guard goes where (I think we should number them according to their order of appearance... that is to say, if we find that Agent 4 appears before Agent 2, we need to renumber them) by Thursday (which is when I usually watch new Heroes episodes, I'll go ahead and do it. --Radicell 03:52, 17 February 2009 (EST)
  • Did anyone get the feeling that we just saw our first GLBT characters? I felt like there was a "connection" between Anna Poora and her bakery friend. Innnnteresting...... --Milojim 10:31, 17 February 2009 (EST)
  • I definately got that feeling too. Also, anyone else laugh at Claire's new best friend literally being "in the closet", unlike Zach in Volume 1! --Gianni23 17:20, 17 February 2009 (EST)
    • Alright, I've sorted this out. Apparently, Agents 1,2, and 3 appear in the restaurant capture scene (1 and 2 are the formal clothes guys, and 3 is the plainclothes guy). Agent 4 is actually an analyst at Building 26, in order to avoid conflict with the analyst article, I've named it Danko's analyst and will rename "Analyst" to Nathan's analyst. I'll add pictures soon, then make the articles. --Radicell 08:15, 19 February 2009 (EST)

The diner where Sylar and Luke stop

According to the sign on the window, the diner where Sylar and Luke stop is called Olympic Coffee Shop and Diner. I think the sign outside the building said Olympic Coffee Shop and Restaurant. One should link to the other. I'd go with "Diner" as the main article, and "Restaurant" as the redirect. According to the writing on the police cars, the building is in Illinois. Oh, and don't forget to include the ZZ Top guy! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:59, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Costa Verde Hotel

Do we know if this is the name of the hotel? If it's not the actual name, then we should not capitalize "Hotel". Instead, it should just be "Costa Verde hotel". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:38, 17 February 2009 (EST)

  • Dunno yet, so I'll go back and lc it --SacValleyDweller (talk) 01:42, 17 February 2009 (EST)
    • I'm not sure it gives a name at all. I think she says welcome to Costa Verde as a general welcome to the city thing, not the hotel. "Costa Verde hotel" describes it accurately I think.--Mistyjo 08:14, 17 February 2009 (EST)
      • Agreed.--Alen76 09:50, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Synopsis

Christophek has added an out-of-world, third person synopsis so I took the liberty of removing it and mentioning it at his talk page. Is that okay with all in question? -- Tristan0709 talk 03:59, 17 February 2009 (EST)

  • Fine by me, although I think fixing it and removing the errors, while keeping the good content and a basis for us to work with would have been better for both us and Christophek. --Radicell 04:05, 17 February 2009 (EST)
    • Fair enough. Have you read the summary? There isn't much to go by, it is out of order and jumps around a lot. You can revert if it floats your boat. -- Tristan0709 talk 04:08, 17 February 2009 (EST)
      • Looks like you started a trend of deleting summaries.--Mistyjo 08:11, 17 February 2009 (EST)
        • Well I spent about 1 hour or so on each of the scenes and picked up as much information as I could, adding new images to Microwave emission, Freezing, I made Alex's page, image and his power's page before realizing they were duplicates and the Olympic Coffee Shop page, so lol all you need to do now is make New Delhi and a few other missing links, since I've done my share of the week :D --Arkillion 08:17, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Goof?

After Sylar breaks the windows, he and Luke jump outside. From some angles, the windows are still there. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 10:54, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Mr. Muggles?

All that time in the Bennett house, but no Mr. Muggles? They did get waffles in though. I bet the actors are sick of waffles.--Mistyjo 11:08, 17 February 2009 (EST)

  • Mr. Muggles was sitting on Sandra's lap in the first scene. (He was napping in all the others.) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:47, 17 February 2009 (EST)
    • I must have blocked it out. Dogs at the breakfast table? Eww.--Mistyjo 12:08, 17 February 2009 (EST)
      • Lol, that's Sandra!--Alen76 12:25, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Main Picture

The picture of tracy in "heat" room looks dark. It needs brighten up a bit. I dont know how to do it. Many thanks Hopwas2007 11:34, 17 February 2009 (EST)

nathans operation sucks

  • So far they caught tracy was the point if everybody is getting away all of them are escaping --Cj31094 12:44, 17 February 2009 (EST)
Don't forget that there could be others doing what Clarie's doing. Going around and warning people. And besides they're only focusing on the big players, and not really characters like Alex. Also I don't think much time has passed. --Dman dustin 14:08, 17 February 2009 (EST)
  • That is patently false. I don't know how much more clear the episode could have made it, but Noah and the G-men were hunting bit players like Alex. If they weren't, Claire would never have needed to warn the kid. Product Placement 16:12, 17 February 2009 (EST)
    • I just love it when people misundestand me. They're hunting everyone with powers, but not everyone with powers is a top priority. They have limited number of funds, and people to do this operation within. Some people will have to wait. Considering Alex was in the same town Clarie, and Noah live, is why Noah went after him. They aren't going to send Noah to New York for someone who can walk through walls if they have a target in mind. They would only hunt characters like Alex if they had someone nearby, they aren't randomly picking people up in random place, I think they are working inward out. And like I said they're are far more important people to catch. Alex was just, I forget the term, Alex was basically "two birds with one stone." --Dman dustin 00:29, 18 February 2009 (EST)
      • Agreed. Noah lives there and it probably seemed like a great opportunity to get rid of one more evolved human quickly.--Alen76 06:24, 18 February 2009 (EST)
        • I also agree with that. But it isn't exactly what you said. :) Product Placement 13:42, 18 February 2009 (EST)

Parkman and HRG

Did anyone else catch the vibe of the bar scene? It seemed like Matt was very much getting revenge on HRG, as the last thing he remembered before his life turned crazy was seeing HRG's face across the bar. I thought it was a nice touch, something subtle I'm not used to seeing from this show. Compared to the "Gabe, I am your brother" schtick, it was a breath of fresh air. :) Product Placement 16:19, 17 February 2009 (EST)

  • I don't think it was HRG he saw; it was the Haitian. But yes, the scene did remind me of Matt's first encounter with the Haitian all the way back in season one... -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 17:48, 17 February 2009 (EST)

Music

I was going to edit the Songs article and throw in Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf and Psycho Killer by Talking Heads, but I rewatched the last scene a few minutes ago and realized there was a song playing in the bar scene. Does anyone know what it was?

-I know my Steppenwolf and im almost certain that was a cover by some other band, i have no idea who, but thats no Steppenwolf. --HandsOffMyPeter 19:05, 17 February 2009 (EST)

  • On a somewhat unrelated note, a friend and I have sang the "psycho killer" part of Psycho Killer whenever Sylar killed somebody since the first season, so our heads almost exploded when it came on and we couldn't stop laughing for the rest of the episode. Revengeance 07:01, 18 February 2009 (EST)
  • The rock radio station in my area will not stop playing this song since Monday! --JessicaHeartsMatt 16:28, 21 February 2009 (EST)

Bye-bye Sandra? and Lyle maybe?

  • Anyone else think that HRG and Sandra didn't just have a fight, I think they're having a divorce since it will sum up for Sandra not needing that much screen time anymore and would result for her getting kicked out of the show, similarly to what happened toJanice.

I also think they'd drag Lyle out aswell because if ever Sandra and Noah would want a divorce, theyd want to divide their kids, and obviously Claire will end up with Noah while Lyle with Sandra. Then bye-bye Sandra and Lyle...forever! =D --NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 05:53, 18 February 2009 (EST)

  • Divide their kids?! Besides, Claire is an "adult" now. I think HRG is about to learn his lesson from Peter, Matt, and Mohinder. The question is, what will Claire think of Peter when she learns what he does to HRG?--Mistyjo 06:09, 18 February 2009 (EST)
  • I think there is still a lot of love in that family. Did you see how Claire hugged HRG? He has done a lot of bad stuff but he's still her father, and that kind of relationship could never be erased. I think Sandra just frightened HRG a bit so he could understand that he needs to quit these "field trips". I don't think we can say goodbye to Sandra and Lyle yet.--Alen76 06:21, 18 February 2009 (EST)
  • I hope they stay. The show is really lacking in non-powered characters now.
I doubt they're getting cut out. Claire still lives there.--anguard 09:10, 19 February 2009 (EST)
Yes, but if they'd have a divorce then that means, Claire would have to choose where to live.--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 13:44, 19 February 2009 (EST)
I think she would choose to live with Sandra. But Sandra and HRG won't get a divorce, I'm sure about that.--Alen (talk) 15:28, 21 February 2009 (EST)

How did they get to India?

Erm, really, how? Did Hiro suddenly get his power back, or were they able to hitch a ride somehow to India, even though they're on every government checklist imaginable, can't use credit cards, can't use cellphones, and there's no fliers/teleporters/speedsters?

  • Hiro's rich, he's got a lot of connection--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 20:58, 19 February 2009 (EST)
  • As far as we know, Peter's current replicated ability is flight. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:11, 19 February 2009 (EST)
  • I agree with NiveKJ13, with that kind of money, he can travel anywhere without being noticed. He even could have used a private jet.--Alen76 14:44, 21 February 2009 (EST)

Some great Bennet family parts...

So watching this episode I noticed some great stuff with Bennet family. Firstly, the return of Lyle and Mr. Muggles. Secondly, The parts toward the end with Claire confessing to her mother, and Sandra laying down the law with HRG. Also, I loved the part with Noah telling Claire hes moving out, it was touching. It was nice to see Claire react like a normal teenage girl, especially after all that Catalyst, over confident, defensive player of the year, crap she pulled this season. Sometimes I feel like the story develops so much that the characters stray too far away form who they were to start with, its nice to have moments like these to remind us who they really are. Overall, it was nice to see some real human drama in the episode. The past two volumes have been really action packed, sometimes too much so; lets hope that there are more moments like these to come.--Cairoi 14:19, 20 February 2009 (EST)

  • Yeah, this episode was very emotional - Sylar talking about his willingness to know more about his roots, the problems in the Bennet household, hope in Tracy's eyes as she thought Nathan wanted to save her... Yup, it was a great episode!--Alen76 14:41, 21 February 2009 (EST)
