AURA ABSORPTION!!
...Aura absorption? D: Wow anyway, exciting episode. I kind of missed what happened to Adam though... is he dead? Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:01, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- Looked like Aura absorption to me too. Anyway, Arthur stole Adam's power, apparently causing him to age 400 years and die :( --Aburu 22:03, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- Aura absorption involves killing the person, only Adam died and that seems to be because of aging. It is ability theft, though. Also, oh my, what an episode.--Riddler 22:04, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- Well we'll get the technicalities sorted out eventually... And poor Adam... wow, I regret missing that aging part... IMAGES PL0X. xD Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:05, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- Also was Elle in this episode? I'm not sure if I missed her. Because one of the promos had her in it but I didn't see her at all, and if she was in the first half hour, most of which I missed, then that seems kind of odd to have her only in that segment... Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:07, 20 October 2008 (EDT)

- Peter's powerless, oh my. He stands no chance when he's against his own abilities... without his own abilities. JackOfBloodyHearts 22:10, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- I agree with Riddler because it says you have to kill the person in order to take the ability for aura absorption. It should be called Ability Theft
- For now any references must be Arthur's ability until we're given an official name for it or there's consensus as to what name it should have. See Talk:Arthur's ability for any discussion on the ability's name. (Admin 22:32, 20 October 2008 (EDT))
- Indeed, what an episode, left me half-disappointed, half-wowed. BTW, Heroes Interactive:Dying of the Light is up now. I'm heading off for the night. Did we see auras through Arthur's eyes? If not, I'd hesitate to call it that and would just make it as Arthur's ability for now.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:09, 21 October 2008 (EDT)
Treatment of villains
I hated how they ended things with Adam, another great villain taken out like nothing (Canfield could've been great, gone. Adam WAS great, could've been more great, gone). However, I liked Doyle's storyline, think it ended appropriately. He's sick. Speaking of villains, who all was painted around the Pinehearst logo that Usutsu drew? JackOfBloodyHearts 22:10, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- I'm wondering that too. It seemed like the man on the upper left... was a Two Face type character? Not entirely sure. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:12, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- I'm pretty sure I saw Mohinder. Therequiembellishere 22:13, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- I'm sure that Arthur was the upper lefthand corner. Jrrenola 22:20, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- Agreed about Canfield. Here's a link to a screencap, I don't know how to upload these things. it looks like arthur in the top left, knox on the bottom left, and possibly maury or flint in on the bottom right

- I don't think that is Sylar, but it could be Peter. The individual in the lower right corner also looks a little like Doyle. --Falcomadol 11:04, 21 October 2008 (EDT)
- How is that Doyle? That guy's not as gross or... creepy looking as Doyle. Plus, Doyle's out of commission and Flint's now with the villains. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 11:52, 21 October 2008 (EDT)
- It's probably not Peter. The differences to the image where he hugs Arthur are too big. And I think the discussion should be on the image's discussion page. --Tordmor 12:00, 21 October 2008 (EDT)

That funky Petrelli family
Interesting how Arthur, Peter, and Gabriel all have similar abilities (hereditary?) Arthur can steal the ability using physical contact without necessarily killing the owner (but the owner loses the ability). Gabriel can steal the ability through physical contact, although it most often kills the owner. Peter can absorb the ability without taking it from the owner or killing the owner. Jrrenola 22:26, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- yeah, and do u remember claude saying to peter "ohh so you are one of those..."?¿ :P great! --cookie 01:27, 21 October 2008 (EDT)

Nerfing Peter
From [[1]]:
"...Do you ever wish you would have made him (Peter) less powerful, and that you could teleport back to let yourself know what you were getting into?
Joe Pokaski & Aron Coleite: We wish that all the time..."
I guess they got what they wanted. D: I don't think Peter will ever reach his old level of power again. Makes me a sad panda. GabrielPetrelli 09:53, 21 October 2008 (EDT)
Peter's powers
I'm noticing that people are making different edits about whether or not Peter's powers are all drained. His father does say "I have your (Peter's) powers" and shows his skill of using lightning. Are we going to consider his father's word cannon or just what he demonstrated to him? -- PinkKeith ▼(talk)▼ 11:15, 21 October 2008 (EDT)
