Dammit, ANOTHER episode called Acceptance?! ;) -- Tristan0709 talk 01:24, 25 October 2009 (EDT)

  • There is actually a seven stage grieving processes in which the fifth stage is depression, not acceptance.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 01:35, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
    • Except that two episodes ago, Sylar said, "I don't have time for your five stages of grief, so let's move straight from denial to acceptance," implying that whoever writes the script is under the impression that this is a five stage process in which the fifth is acceptance. --Cosmic AC 07:42, 24 November 2009 (EST)
      • Well this episode was all about denial. I assume the fifth stage is denial. Or it could be acceptance because of Peter coming to terms with Nathan. --Gamerelite1 21:04, 30 November 2009 (EST)
      • Just to added my two cents, the model of grief that could have been referred to 2 episodes ago (and implied in the title) could have been the Kübler-Ross model, in which there are 5 stages of grief, not 7. This model of grief was introduced in 1969 by Elizabeth Kübler-Ross in her book On Death and Dying. --JoyaOscura 00:12, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • Unusual because I'm used to five stages of Grief. I don't think I've ever heard of a seven stage model, I mean it does sound familiar, but I'm used to the five stage model. Strange I thought it was always five. --Dman dustin 01:54, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • Maybe I'm looking up the wrong thing, but is there even a seven stages of grief. Wikipedia apparently never heard of it. Besides Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance, what else could there be?--Dman dustin 01:57, 1 December 2009 (EST)

Ando

That's who Samuel is "after" in my opinion, hence the feud between Hiro and Ando and the reason Ando zaps Hiro. Dean 02:04, 1 December 2009 (EST)

  • Makes sense considering Ando's power. --TrueBlueBrooklynite 03:35, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • But how would Claire lead to Ando? --Juba 06:22, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • I assumed he wanted noah.Gamerelite1 06:32, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • Actually it could be Peter, why would Samuel want someone without powers? True Noah could lead Samuel to powers but I doubt Noah would fall into any sort of trap even if Claire was used. And while I think it could be Peter, the way the scene was shown, it seemed like he was talking about Gretchen, which would make less sense than Noah unless Gretchen had a secret power. I'm just disappointed that Claire is too naive, again. --Dman dustin 09:40, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • I first thought it was Bennet -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C) 15:02, 1 December 2009 (EST)
            • On second thought. It probably isn't noah. He might want her to convince peter to join him.
              • I guess that Emma is the key character of this season. I feel that her ability is the one Samuel needs to reach the maximum power he could have, in order to achieve his twisted goals. --Egyptian 18:32, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                • And how would he ability would be useful for him? The only way I can see the Carnival getting in touch with her is to get to Peter. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:49, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                  • Every season has its surprises and unexpected incidents, maybe that would be it,, or at least that is what I wish :) I believe some creativity and unexpected ending would shack things up. I would really hate it, if they decide not to create a fifth season. --Egyptian 19:02, 1 December 2009 (EST)
  • Have Ando and Samuel even met? --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 20:01, 2 December 2009 (EST)
    • Since when did Samuel need to meet someone to decide that he wants to take them in? -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:43, 3 December 2009 (EST)

Nathan's final speech

Did anyone notice Nathan completely forgot to mention his other children? i actually found that quite funny. His last thoughts could have been "oh crap i forgot to tell him to watch over my other kids that can't heal from anything" lol!!! - User:devane1835

  • Ha, I had totally forgotten about his ex-wife and kids. Also, did Nathan's speech seem like it was hinting at Peter possibly getting stronger soon to anyone else? Maybe it's only wishful thinking but it definitely seemed that way to me. Would be nice to see Peter at least develop his ability to the point he could have more than one ability at a time, or maybe do something like he can use powers he has previously copied but can only use them one at a time (a la Ultraboy from the Legion of Superheroes). Godzizzle 09:34, 1 December 2009 (EST)
  • It did seem that way to me, really. It's not actually something I want to see, because I think any boost at all to Peter's ability will make him overpowered (example- he can hold two powers instead of one. What happens when he gets Claire's ability and any offensive power?). However, I do think that was a pretty big hint by Kring about Peter ("the world ain't seen nothing yet") that Peter will be buffed soon. I just hope that if he is, then it won't just break the entire show in half again. Swm 09:54, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • Why would Peter be overpowered? Look at Sylar, the only chance Peter has against Sylar in his current form is Rene's ability. Two abilities would be fine unlike the many abilities Sylar possesses. --Dman dustin 10:07, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • I don't use Sylar as a benchmark for what balanced is, since he's way over the top. He'd be overpowered because he could easily amass a combination, even with only two abilities, that would make it almost impossible for him to die. Example: Regeneration + Space-Time Manipulation. Short of the Haitian's power, how exactly could he be killed? Certain powers could do it in certain conditions (Freezing, Disintegration, maybe Telepathy) if Peter could somehow be surprised. Everyone else would be powerless against him. Granted, the writers could avoid this by good plot, but then they'd get a bunch of people angry at Peter "being dumb" and deliberately making himself more vunerable. I prefer him as he is to that. Swm 10:30, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • They could keep the current limit of only being able to use one power at a time while increasing the number of abilities he could choose from. With your example, he wouldn't be able to heal while time was frozen and wouldn't be able to freeze time while healing. Godzizzle 10:49, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • I'm fine with Peter getting empathic mimicry back, as long as they force him to make actual emotional connections to use his ability. It was like that at first but after a while he could mimic just by walking near someone with an ability. After all, he had never met Ted before and emulated his ability without even seeing it, and I doubt that he was feeling like a dumb, redneck rapist when he entered Future Sylar's house.--PJDEP 11:40, 1 December 2009 (EST)

it took me a while but I actually like Peter's new power better i mean when he had empathic mimicry everyone seems to forget he never used it and when he did he didnt use it effectivly and it seemed as though the writters were always avoiding him using it. Like season 1 he's gathering and learning to control his ability. fair enough. season 2 he had to learn to use them all over again and he only used them for like 6 episodes. than in season 3 he had the ability for 6 episodes if i'm correct. 3 of which he spent in somebody else's body without them and 1 and 1/2 episodes in which he was in a chemically induced coma before being rescued and in the same episode having them taken away. plus evem though most people keep saying he was so much more powerful they fail to note he has actually won more fights since aquiring his power

he was smart enough to take sylar down with just shapeshifting and flight he was able to beat Edgar he was even able to beat the living crap out of sylar by simply taking his powers away now imagine the same course of events if peter had empathic mimicry and asorbed the haitians ability, everyone would moan that sylar is dead or peter would have to do something stupid (i dont know electocute himself) either way i seriously doubt the writters will give peter his original ability unless they whipped it out as a one trick pony. - User:devane1835-16.50pm (GMT)

Last minute edit change?

Is it just me, or did it seem that there was a last minute change in how the episode was edited together? There were a couple things that appeared to have been intended for different episodes, before they changed things up. The scenes with Eli were completely disconnected from the other Circus scenes, and given that we didn't actually see Eli return to the circus until today, it would appear that his scenes (along with the Noah/Lauren storyline) were perhaps originally meant to be in the next episode. It was a little odd seeing him appear on screen and realizing who he was, when the last we saw he was nowhere near the circus and had no intent to return there (until today's comic finally brought him home). Also, in the final series of quick cuts during the speech, there's a shot of Hiro apparently running through a jungle that seemed completely out of place (given that we haven't seen him since he disappeared to help "Watson"). This makes me think that originally, we were supposed to see Hiro's adventure this episode, and when they realized that they were going into a break after this they decided to not introduce a new storyline like that and instead to hold it off until after the break. Then they inserted the Eli/Noah/Lauren storyline into this episode as filler (because it's self-sufficient enough to be moved) and forgot that the timing wouldn't work anymore with the comic schedule. Does that make sense to anybody else? --Maelwys 09:54, 1 December 2009 (EST)

    • Jungle scene aside, as I did wonder about that one, most of the Eli arc wasn't too messy for me. The Prodigals arc obviously concludes some time before this episode, giving Eli and Tracy enough time to get back to the US from Africa, though the fact that it was released after the episode first aired was a little messy. There's probably an element of what you suggest Swm 09:57, 1 December 2009 (EST).
      • Well they did kind of screw themselves over, by taking those long breaks with the Graphic Novel over the hiatus (one comic a month or something like that). I was actually fine with the scenes, because when someone makes a huge speech like Samuel, we always see other scenes with the other characters, --Dman dustin 10:05, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • I am sure those scenes we saw during Samuels speech are a preview of upcoming episodes.--Ratclaws 13:38, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • It has happened before; I remember Eris Quod Sum being aired, and then the next day the GN Sum Quod Sum, Part 2 being released. Basically, that is the same as what happened to Eli. They already show you what happened after his corresponding current GN line before actually showing you the final GN. I do think that they've very well realized that Eli wasn't completely done in his GN arc. I do however agree on how badly worked out Eli's story line was in this episode. Smouvy 23:32, 1 December 2009 (GMT)
  • The "jungle" scene was Hiro, Mohinder, and Ando escaping after the plane crash, from last season. The shots of Tracy and Emma were also stock footage from previous episodes.--CourtesyofTVRage.com 15:30, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • The "jungle" scene is footage from an upcoming episode. Ando wasn't on the plane, and they did the same thing during Samuel's speech in the season premiere, along with the season two premiere.--Citizen 15:46, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • The jungle scene is defeinatley from an upcomming episode. It was Hiro, Ando and Mohinder running and Mohinder was in his mental hospital clothes. Obviuosly Hiro and Ando are going to break him out, to help fight Samuel. --D Toccs 02:28, 2 December 2009 (EST)

Does Sylar has Enhanced strength?

Sylar was able to grab Peter by his choke and get him up. It looked like he had Enhanced strength -- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 12:20, 1 December 2009 (EST)

  • I'm going with Telekinesis on that one, since the ability should be able to help in such manner, and maybe Sylar did it because seeing a woman pick up Peter like a rag doll was actually pretty funny, since you never expect it. Could be enhanced strength, but it could easily be telekinesis.--Dman dustin 12:25, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • Definitely TK, he did it with Claire when he thought Jackie was the one with the ability. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:51, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • yeah but how come when he threw Peter into the wall it didnt make the usual TK sound effect?
      • Dont really agree about Jackie, Jackie isn't as heavy as Peter.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 13:14, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • I really think it's enhanced strength because if he used TK then physical contact would not be necessary. Guess we should ask the writers 'bout this fact. -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C) 13:44, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • I agree -- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 13:51, 1 December 2009 (EST)
            • I don't. First of all, where did he get it from??? Anyone who has that power is still alive except Niki and she died in an explosion. He may have been using TK to enhance his strength, he's done that before. Remember Sylar and the parking meter in How To Stop An Exploding Man???--WarGrowlmon18 13:54, 1 December 2009 (EST)
              • We aren't sure about Michael Fitzgerald because we only has seen him once, we dont now what happended after Michael is captured.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 13:56, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                • Ummm.... Knox and Scott are dead, and they both had ES -- Leckie -- Talk 15:18, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                • And it could be someone where we dont know of, someone who hasn't appeared in the show.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 13:59, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                  • Yoshi, what I meant is that Sylar used TK to amplify his strength because he threw Claire very far when he thought he was getting an ability from Jackie. The parking meter is also a good example. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 14:08, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                    • Like i said, this is a tough one.. i'll see if i can find out what it really is :) But i do agree on the part "Where did he get it from..." <- I really don't know :P BTW what was the reason that Sylar could use his abilities, Peter did have Rene's ability... ?? -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C) 14:33, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                      • Also, Sylar has been known to use TK as Enhanced Strength before. He used it when he killed Chandra, because he ripped the cab apart. --Leckie -- Talk 15:18, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                        • I think Peter was purposly not blocking him at first. He wanted to catch him by surprise, hence the drugs in his bag he never intended to use. He wanted to lull Sylar into a false sense of security and then turn the tables on him. He certanly did that: his plan worked pretty well. If Sylar had kept attacking him like that, he probably would have activated his new power to give him the upper hand as he had no choice. It was obvious to me that that was Sylar in the elevator with him and I think it would have been obvious to him too. He didn't activate it on purpose.--WarGrowlmon18 15:46, 1 December 2009 (EST)

Peter and the nailgun

Did anyone else remember Noah and the knife from The Eclipse, Part 2? The "huh, this could be useful" look when they see something to use against Sylar will always be welcomed by me. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:55, 1 December 2009 (EST)

  • Well at least Sylar got nailed for a while. He was kinda crucified though too if you think about it. Ironic considering he apparently wanted to crucify Peter in Times Square.--WarGrowlmon18 14:53, 1 December 2009 (EST)

Where did the budget go?

Was that not the worst looking green screen effect ever, when Nathan was falling off the side of the building?--Gibbeynator 13:04, 1 December 2009 (EST)

  • I think that was supposed to be for dramatic effect and to signify his death. What I would have really liked to see is Nathan help Peter kill Sylar once and for all while he was in control of his body. If Peter deactivated his block on Sylar's powers, Nathan could have moved the spot back where it belongs and then helped Peter get rid of Sylar once and for all with something to that spot. Then they could have had a real funeral for the bastard.--WarGrowlmon18 13:21, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • Totally agree with the Sylar bit. The effects for Nathan falling wasn't what bothered me, what bothered me was that it happened way to slow. I know they were going for a dramatic effect but there's a limit.--PJDEP 14:42, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • I'm surprised that about halfway through the fall, they didn't cut to Peter looking at his watch.--Gibbeynator 15:45, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • Honestly, I thought Nathan's fall was one of the best-executed moments in the show's history. Watching his face turn back into Sylar's as he fell was just downright creepy. I love it. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 15:57, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • I pretty much second what Richard Desi said. For a couple seconds, I could only think "Why is this taking so long..." but then my thoughts shifted to "Oh, son of a..." --Whizzles 16:18, 1 December 2009 (EST)
            • He turned back into Sylar on the way down? I don't know how I missed that.--PJDEP 17:30, 1 December 2009 (EST)
              • Yeah, I take that back completely, that was quite amazing. I love how Sylar started smiling at the end.--PJDEP 17:35, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                • I thought it was good though, the perfect way to send off a season 1 main character. Long live FLYING MAN! --JLYK
  • It ruined everything.. that was surely the worst green screen effect ever, even i could have done it better. To follow up such great acting with that was painful to watch. -Larvig 09:20, 2 December 2009 (EST)
    • Not necessarily bad green-screen effect (that'd be bitching about how it looks), but a "tad" too slow in showing. ("tad" being sarcastic) Even I got impatient watching it, and based on reading episode discussions I'm one of the few who watches each episode just for story and not analyzing how badly the writers are doing. Mike 23:56, 2 December 2009 (EST)

Main image

Cant we get a better picture then just Nathan's head? i'm voting for the hands of Peter and Nathan.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 14:03, 1 December 2009 (EST)

  • If someone can upload it, I would want the image of Sylar falling and smiling evilly to be the main image. It's an awesome image. Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs | 16:22, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • It is, but i dont think that anybody is able to get a HD picture of that one because it's too far away. So i'm still going for Peter grabbing Nathan.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 16:24, 1 December 2009 (EST)

I uploaded one, somebody thinks that we should use this one?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 16:53, 1 December 2009 (EST)

  • The first is still the only one that's 1) a good quality image, 2) and is specifically at the moment where "acceptance" was being talked about. It's the "acceptance" look in Nathan's face that I was specifically going for, as well. It's only appropriate that Adrian's last episode is him. Though, with a better contrast job, the falling away image isn't bad. NileQT87 18:17, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • I'm not a fan of the actual image that Yoshi uploaded, but I really do think we should use an image of their hands or of them holding each other...rather than just an image of Nathan's face. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:43, 2 December 2009 (EST)

Erasing Sylar

  • Okay here's a question: why the HELL didn't Peter just use mental manipulation to erase Sylar completly. I mean I thought that was what he was aiming for when he used it on Sylar to help Nathan regain control. If he erased Sylar's personality, then there wouldn't have been a problem. Unless he did and regeneration fixed it like it did when Rene did that to Peter in season 2???--WarGrowlmon18 14:56, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • I guess Sylar was too strong. -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C) 15:01, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • Either that or regeneration kicked in. It worked on Peter before. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:03, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • 2 reasons, first mabye Peter thought if he would erase Sylar completely, the same would happen as with Matt. And even if he would succeed, Heroes would lose a lot of viewers.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 15:04, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • Peter wasn't using telepathy, he wasn't getting inside Sylar's head. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:06, 1 December 2009 (EST)
            • At the time, I assumed Peter didn't want to risk erasing Nathan's memories that were trapped somewhere in there too? Kevio 10:06, 2 December 2009 (EST)
              • I'm reckoning what Futurepeter said, about Sylar being too strong. I mean, we saw how he came back from that spell with Matt and the alcohol. And we already know that he's pretty much a human cockroach. If anything, his mind's even stronger than his body; probably all Peter did was weaken him temporarily so Nathan could regain control. Temporarily. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:49, 3 December 2009 (EST)

Bad for volume final

The Fifth Stage was a good episode, but i think it's the worst volume final episode ever. Anybody agrees?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 14:57, 1 December 2009 (EST)

  • However, Nathan's final death scene was the best deatch scene ever shown i think.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 15:00, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • It's not the final episode, there's a few more to come - Jenx222 | U / T / C 15:02, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • Yeah, it was just the last one before the hiatus. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:03, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • The hiatus?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 15:11, 1 December 2009 (EST)
          • It's just a break --Jenx222 | U / T / C 15:18, 1 December 2009 (EST)
            • Oh ok, thought it was the final because NBC sad so "Watch the Heroes Final Tonight".-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 15:28, 1 December 2009 (EST)
              • It does get annoying when shows do this. My favorite shows tend to have a cliffhanger with their breaks. Most notably Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Oh and some Battlestar Galactica.--WarGrowlmon18 15:42, 1 December 2009 (EST)
                • I do agree with Yoshi. This episode has left us not a single reason to wait until January for Heroes to return; no big cliffhanger whatsoever. The closest to that was finally having Sylar back as a full-time villain, which was hardly shocking as he'd been villainous for both this episode and Thanksgiving already. The only thing that I do want to know http://heroeswiki.com/skins/common/images/button_sig.pngabout was what Hiro, Ando and Mohinder were doing in a Jungle. Smouvy 23:36, 1 December 2009 (GMT)
                  • I think NBC should have at least gave a promo on when Heroes would return. There was no promo regarding Heroes after the episode ended. Heck, I think there would be less viewers next year. Anyway my other favourite tv show is also on hiatus, Psych. An even longer hiatus. 3 months. Makes 1 month look good eh? --JLYK
  • I thought this was a relatively weak episode in an extremely strong season. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:44, 2 December 2009 (EST)
    • I agree, but I thought it was necessary. Peter brining Nathan back and then eventually letting him go, Noah and Lauren's relationship progressing, Claire finally discovering a place where she can "fit in". I think these stories will be an important part of what's to come - Jenx222 | U / T / C 09:34, 2 December 2009 (EST)
      • For me, this episode kicks ass. I just can't help but watching the scene on the roof over and over again. I just loved Adrian Pasdar's acting. And I can't wait to see Peter having his revenge. User:Crazy-Mick
        • I liked this episode too dont get me wrong but this is the final episode before the hiatus, and for an final episode i thought it was bad. And i'm watching the scene of Nathan falling of the roof over and over again too lol, it's a really good scene.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 16:52, 3 December 2009 (EST)
          • I thought this episode was good, and a fairly good one before the hiatus (which I just found out about now :/). I think it was a great cliffhanger: The "real" death, and end of Nathan. It was a powerful scene in my opinion.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 17:18, 3 December 2009 (EST)
            • I agree, the scenes between Nathan and Peter were excellent. Very well written, and expertly acted. Very powerful scenes, indeed. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:10, 3 December 2009 (EST)
              • Nathan Peter and Sylar part was awesome. Problem is that HRG and Claire's are totally boring, lame, and repetitive, so that kinda ruin the whole thing. We still have no idea what the hell Samuel wants (get more powerful ? OK let's be clear, it would be beyond lame and over repetitive... ah wait, they could do that actually...), absolutely no real cliffhanger... Do they even realize people are sick of Claire ? No cauz she is in every single episode and she has by far the worst storyline. Still asking the same freaking questions since season 1... It's getting real old.--Kleith 19:42, 3 December 2009 (EST)
              • Completely agree. I don't remember the last time I've been so moved by a scene like Nathan/Peter's final moments together. That's kind of saying something considering I've *ahem* unfortunately lost my Heroes fanboyishness. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:46, 3 December 2009 (EST)

Sythan

  • If we accept that Nathans death took place in this episode, it seems to be right to say that if we see Nathan, it is Nathan and not "Nathan" nor Sylar(Nathan). --Juba 15:54, 1 December 2009 (EST)

Main Image

I'm not a big fan of this image, because it's just nathan's head. What do you guys think about this image?

I think it's a much better picture with a great view too.
  • I don't think you can really see anything from that angle. Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs | 18:27, 1 December 2009 (EST)
    • I'm ok if we dont take this picture but are we really unable to get a better picture then just Nathan's head?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 18:30, 1 December 2009 (EST)
      • I don't know...I liked the picture of Nate just falling, but someone got rid of it. It's the closest image to the one I had in my head. -Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs | 18:32, 1 December 2009 (EST)
        • The problem with it was mucked up contrast levels. I did a better contrast job of a similar grab, but it's really not as good as the "acceptance" look (the quality of the image goes way down due to the massive cropping needed). Also, that's the moment where Nathan is basically telling Peter to accept his death. It's all in the eyes (and why I initially chose the image). The letting go works, too, but the image has issues. NileQT87 18:36, 1 December 2009 (EST)

Here is the image I did, but you can see the cropping issue:

          • I agree with NileQT87, the image really helps to summarize what the episode is about. I prefer it to the others - Jenx222 | U / T / C 18:41, 1 December 2009 (EST)
            • You know what keeps bugging me about choosing the fall-away image, even after trying to find a shot of it that I like... It's not acceptance. The eye shot is acceptance. The fall-away shot is reaching out--the opposite of acceptance! The opposite of what this episode is about! Can we go back to the acceptance eye shot? Please. Anyone agree? That moment was the title reference. NileQT87 06:33, 2 December 2009 (EST)
  • For those who wanted a screenshot with nathan's and peter's hands, here is the one i submit for this episode.Crazy-Mick
    File:Hands 2.JPG
    • I think it's great, it only needs the proper size and i will get rid of the nbc logo (i'm making it right now:)) -- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 10:14, 2 December 2009 (EST)
Proper size and without the NBC logo
      • I really think we should take this one, this is really showing acceptance.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 10:25, 2 December 2009 (EST)
        • The image we got right now is ok, but i do think that the one with the hands i have on the right is better.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 15:25, 2 December 2009 (EST)

Nathan forgot about his wife and kids

Title says it all. This is not the first time characters forget about certain characters. --JLYK

How did Sylar know Peter was coming for him?

I find it a bit strange that when Peter ventures out to find Sylar, not long after, Sylar gets into the hospital lift then ambushes Peter out of nowhere. How does that all come about? --acerious 14:30, 2 December 2009 (EST)

  • I think Sylar didn't know that... maybe Sylar was coming for Peter --Themd 16:17, 2 December 2009 (EST)
    • I choose to think Nathan was seeking out Peter and Sylar happened to take over before they got there. --Action Figure 18:17, 2 December 2009 (EST)
      • It's totally unlikely since Nathan's goal was to get AWAY from his family. He also stated he tried to come back but was unable to before Peter erased all of Sylar's memory. (And even with that Nathan couldn't hold on for long). Sylar just wanted to play with Peter, or knew he would do something to get his brother back, no big deal. --Kleith 19:46, 3 December 2009 (EST)
    • Remember, this is Sylar we're talking about. His motive was probably to get his hands on Peter's ability. --Formless 23:25, 3 December 2009 (EST)
  • I think this one is pretty easy, Sylar was coming for peter. He tries to get everyone who putted nathan in his body. He told this to Matt when he was in texas, that he'll get anyone who was involved. -- (WaterRatj) 18:58, 5 December 2009 (EST)
  • Peter wasn't involved.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 18:59, 5 December 2009 (EST)
    • lol, he putted the syringe into his neck, like he said in this episode, so he was involved! -- (WaterRatj) 19:00, 5 December 2009 (EST)

Sylar, Hiro, Ando and Mohinder!

That short seconds were awesome! Can't wait to see them. Maybe that wasn't an upcoming episode... they were from this episode! lol just like Sylar going back to his old look! I'm really sure about this! I loved this episode --Themd 16:14, 2 December 2009 (EST)

Samuel's speech

Should we not count this as a speech at the end, the way mohinder used to do. We put this kind of thing down in orientation when he was around joseph's grave at his funeral. Why not this time? --mc_hammark 18:50, 5 December 2009 (EST)
