Fernando Chien is a stunt double for Masi Oka.
About
Fernando was born in Taipei, Taiwan, but is a Canadian citizen. He was raised in Toronto and went to college in Montreal before moving to Los Angeles to pursue the film business.
Chien has appeared on such television series as Soldier of Fortune, Inc., The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne (with John Rhys-Davies), and Crossing Jordan, and in films such as The Sign of Four, The Art of War, and Honor. He has also performed stunts and stunt acting parts in films such as Poseidon, Crank, Flags of our Fathers, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
In recent years, Chien's projects include the drama Beyond the Ring, the comedy Pineapple Express, and the action-adventure film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Recently, he directed two short films which will be released in 2009. Fernando is a member of the action team Reel Kick.
