Mohinder Suresh visited a hospital in search of doctors who believed in his cause. People of science who also searched for those with amazing abilities. Instead, he found ridicule and scorn. But one special patient proved that his visit might have not been in vain... |
Summary
Mohinder watches a teenage patient erupt with powerful electrical currents and realizes it was the boy who had caused all the blackouts in the hospital. Mohinder tells the boy that he does not have Shanti's illness, but instead has the power to absorb electrical currents. Just then, a Primatech agent hits Mohinder with a gun and attempts to kidnap the patient to be used as a weapon. The teenager erupts again in a power surge, stopping the agent. Mohinder and the boy escape the hospital, but are stopped when Mohinder crashes into a telephone pole. The young man expresses his frustration and guilt over the problems and heartache his power has caused, but Mohinder talks him into hiding out in a secluded lakeside cabin with no electricity. As a parting gift, Mohinder gives the boy his father's book.
