Angela tries to make sense of what Samuel has wrought on her family. |
Samuel Sullivan brought his Carnival to Central Park in order to stage the Greatest Show on Earth. Fortunately our Heroes purposes aligned, as they converged on New York City to put a stop to Samuel once and for all... But one Hero is all to aware of what might have happened, and herself struggling to decide what outcome is the lesser evil. Despite their frequent interventions to save the world, how much is freewill and how much was fated from the start? |
Summary
Samuel stands on the wooden stage at the carnival in Central Park, welcoming the visitors to the Greatest Show on Earth. He proceeds to use his powers to create a giant fissure that swallows up all of the humans in the area, and leaves the stage on a giant pillar of Earth in the center of the crater.
Angela wakes up from the dream, and contemplates that no matter how many times they save New York, destiny says another catastrophe will come along. She remembers that, by trying to save Nathan so many times, she's ended up alienating her entire family. On TV, the news is reporting Claire regenerating from her fall off of the ferris wheel.
