The invisible man's first partner. |
For years, Claude, the invisible man, worked side by side with Noah Bennet, the man in horn-rimmed glasses. Together, these "company men" risked their lives to save the world. Or so they thought. Claude grew uneasy with his assignments, questioning who benefited from their work. Discovering this, the company gave Bennet his most difficult assignment: kill Claude. But before Bennet, Claude had a different partner, the man called Haram... |
Summary
17 years ago, Claude Rains and his previous partner, Haram, are at a harbor in Côte d'Azur, France in pursuit of Rollo Fusor--an extortionist and murderer with the ability to rapidly dehydrate water from whatever he touches. They are both on a bridge over the harbor, and Haram appears nervous clutching his heart and shaking an open bottle of pills. Claude calms down Haram and directs him to follow their plan.
While Haram negotiates with Rollo Fusor to release two people they believe are held hostage, Claude sneaks aboard Rollo Fusor's yacht. When Rollo Fusor appears to have left the two hostages handcuffed to each other on the docks, Haram approaches them. Monsieur Pizet is lying on the ground and a lady has a scarf tied to cover her mouth. When Haram removes her blonde wig along with her scarf, showing her true black hair, she reveals that she is Rollo Fusor's accomplice. She swaps her cuffs off herself and onto Haram, linking him to a dead Monsieur Pizet and pushes them both into the sea.
