In a blog post Hiro recently discovered a flyer for Chris Coolidge's concert and more or less said that he was compelled to time travel there. Anyone else think that he may have had a Back-To-The-Future moment, found his father and sent him in Angela Petrelli's direction? After all, Kaito says that it's his destiny to arrive in New York, and a quote from the blog post goes "Did I tell you Destiny spoke to me?". Or maybe I'm thinking too hard....-- 01:08, 25 February 2010 (EST)
*Actually, I think Kaito said to escape his destiny. Possibly Hiro told him about his destiny and indirectly sent him there. --mc_hammark 11:06, 25 February 2010 (EST)
**Perhaps Hiro showing up (and telling Kaito he saved the world. Twice.) convinces him that he must be with Ishi instead of Angela. --Ricard Desi 11:11, 25 February 2010 (EST)

Chris Coolidge

That has to be Em's dad or something (note how her father is NOT shown on the show) so she must've inherited her power from Dear Old Dad.--WarGrowlmon18 16:06, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• Must be. Though still speculative to say. Could easily be an uncle. --mc_hammark 16:08, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• I think its her father. Remember her nephew Christopher??? Her brother or sister could have easily named him after their (and Emma's) dad. That happens a lot. I'm named after both my grandfathers.--WarGrowlmon18 16:12, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Ditto.--Boycool42 18:45, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• All we know is that this Chris' sister went to nursing school. Emma did biomedicine. Plothole? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:15, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Not if he's not Emma's brother.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:18, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Looks like emma has a brother. Who has the same abilty as her. And Charles Deveaux does have Telepathy. Hopefully we find out Kaitos ability soon too. Good GN.--Icefire227 16:02, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• I think he'd be a bit too old to be Emma's brother... perhaps a father or other relative, though.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:16, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Emma would be a lot older if he was her brother and she was the one he was talking about. She's too young. It's probably her father or uncle.--WarGrowlmon18 16:21, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Emma's nephew Chris could be Chris Coolidge, Jr. As in, the son of her brother, Chris Coolidge, Sr. Could explain why they both have enhanced synesthesia. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 16:22, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• I was thinking it was her uncle, because he said his little sis just entered nursing school, wouldnt his little sis be emmas mom. daevon 16:24, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Very true. On top of that, your cousin's child can also be referred to as a nephew. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 16:25, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Emma went to Medical School six years before and her casting call lists her as in her 20s I think. She can't be the same person as in 1963, that's over 30 years off. She'd be the age of like Angela. She could be Peter's mother instead of love interest if that was her.--WarGrowlmon18 16:26, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• So the assumed family tree:
• Chris Coolidge and Dr. Coolidge are siblings.
• Dr. Coolidge went to nursing school in 1963. This would put her in her 60s/70s.
• The young Chris Coolidge was either the grandson of Dr. Coolidge, or the elder Chris Coolidge.
• Sounds pretty good to me. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 16:28, 17 February 2010 (EST)

You're all going to feel really stupid if it's just someone with the last name Coolidge and isn't related to Emma :p--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 16:56, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• Definitely. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:00, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• It'd be a hell of a coincidence if they both have the same last name and power and aren't related. I seriously doubt they're not related.--WarGrowlmon18 17:10, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• I was kidding, but it would be quite funny if it was a coincidence.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 17:12, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Characters with the same last name are usually not coincidental--especially when accompanied by an overt mention of a sister with a medical background... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:50, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• On top of having the same ability. However, since we're not exactly sure what the relationship is (more than likely uncle) we should just put it under Notes on the character pages. --OutbackZack 19:06, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Dr Coolidge is his sister. Therefore he must be Emma's uncle. OutbackZack is dead on clear. --User:Blood69 19:24, 18 February 2010 (AEST)
• Actually, what if his sister is how he met Emma's mother? It seems that he is either Emma's uncle or Emma's father. --mc_hammark 11:57, 18 February 2010 (EST)

Wow

I finally got to make a GN article, my timezone has never worked for me in that sense. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:53, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• Congrats. This was a cool novel, nice art by Jason Badower, and nice to see the founders again, and Kaito too. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out... and perhaps we'll finally get to see Bob use alchemy to make a metal other than gold. :) Not sure how to describe Chris's ability (though I noticed the explicit reference to 'enhanced synesthesia' as a possible ability)... and I'm wondering if he might be related to President Coolidge somehow.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:16, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Don't thank me just yet, I think I created it in the wrong title. Loads of moving.Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:19, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• My fault. The novels page calls it "From the Primatech Files". The novel itself has it as "From the Files of Primatech".--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 16:20, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Sorry IE but I actually created the page... I made the one "From the Files of Primatech" where as you made "The Primatech Files" one. --mc_hammark 16:22, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• And I made a "From the Primatech Files" one. We might need to talk this out beforehand in the future...--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 16:35, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• I feel ya, IE. First time I got to even link to the page (it was a red link at the time, but hey, teamwork! :P) --Ricard Desi (t,c) 16:23, 17 February 2010 (EST)

Petrelli?

Plot hole, Angela was still a Shaw, unless she married Arthur off-panel. She wasn't married back then, she was a teenage girl. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:41, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• Nice catch.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 16:42, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Not really, that's a rather glaring mistake. The only real thing I ever got from GNs was in one that showed Meredith and Flint as kids, by the end of the second issue, Meredith comes across some guys from the Navy. Adding up the years they give, one of those guys was Nathan. I believe someone else said that in an interview, wanting to imply that. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:45, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• If you think about it, it can't be a plothole, it could just be her older self thinking or dreaming about that time--Skyeatsout 16:48, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Nothing indicates she met Arthur, or even dreamed about him. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:50, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• The novel seems to be from the "view" of a Primatech file that was written several years after this. She likely got married before it was written, and that is just how they refered to her in all the files.--Ratclaws 16:56, 17 February 2010 (EST)

On an unrelated note:

Angela: Oh, shi-
File: A. Petrelli registered her displeasure.

Win. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:58, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• I agree with Ratclaws regarding the point of view. I don't think it's a plot hole that Angela was referred to as a Petrelli.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:10, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Do we even know when the Company found the hiding place Primatech? --Juba 17:51, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• She's only referred to once as "Angiebird" within the stories. The intro calls her "a young Angela Petrelli" (obviously descriptive and not of the time) and the "file excerpts" refer to her as "Petrelli, Angela" and "A. Petrelli." It's obvious to me that this 1963 file was written/re-written after her marriage to Arthur later on. There's nothing that implies her name, at the time, is Angela Petrelli.--Tim Thomason 21:47, 17 February 2010 (EST)

Easter egg

Does it have one? I changed 165 to 166 in the url for the 165th issue's easter egg and got nothing. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:49, 17 February 2010 (EST)

Story by

Howie Kaplan???? whats up with that? it links to a Heroes Character --Skyeatsout 16:58, 17 February 2010 (EST)

Kaito

Cool to see him this early. Thank god they didn't base him off the younger guy they got to play him in season 2, because that guy looked nothing like him. I wonder what his destiny/power is? Hopefully not the one from the deleted scene.--Ratclaws 17:04, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• Why? Why shouldn't Kaito have the ability to predict the future by doing math? Oh... nevermind, I answered my own question.--Gibbeynator 19:25, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Racistttttttttttttttttttttt--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 19:29, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• To be fair, it probably wouldn't be the first time Heroes writers have incorporated stereotypes into people's abilities. Actually, since we saw Kaito's ability before we met Knox, I guess Kaito WOULD be the first.--Gibbeynator 07:34, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• ????Please explain statement above.--User:Blood69 01:50, 20 February 2010 (AEST)
• OK, maybe Knox is a bad example. How about Santiago, a Peruvian with the power to be really good at soccer?--Gibbeynator 17:37, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• Ha ha, I hadn't realized that. Wonder what happened to the people from those webisodes. In regards to Kaito, I mostly meant it was a crappy power for someone who has destiny ahead of him, not that it was sterotypical.--Ratclaws 17:45, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• They put him in a yellow jacket, and on page 4, I totally mistook him for his Star Trek alter ego, Sulu. Weeeee! :D --Punxas 23:51, 22 February 2010 (EST)

Samuel

So I guess this is how Samuel knew about the 'Persuasion' part of Emma's Power. If he read the Primatech Files from Noah, then he would know all about Chris and could put 2 and 2 together. --PowerSink 17:40, 17 February 2010 (EST)

Character category

Where do list Chris and the others? The gn seems to be about the Company in general, so it's either miscellaneous or wait until we have four to make a founders portal? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:28, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• Let's put him and the others (the cop and the woman) in the miscellaneous portal. With 8 graphic novels scheduled for this arc, we're bound to get at least one more new character. (I'm hoping Susan Amman or Carlos Mendez appear.) However, I use the name the arc to name the portal: "Portal:Primatech Files-Related Graphic Novel Characters". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:58, 17 February 2010 (EST)

Multiple Powers?

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't either the writers or their puppet (HRG) say something about every hero having only one power (except people like Sylar or Peter, who can acquire powers)? --Uncanny474 20:55, 17 February 2010 (EST)

• Do you mean with Chris??? I think they were simply unsure of what power he had at that time.--WarGrowlmon18 20:58, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Who was listed as having multiple powers? If you're talking about Chris, I think that list of abilities (persuasion, empathy, enhanced synesthesia) was a list of abilities he might have, given that they were unsure at the time.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 20:57, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• Along with that... what does singing and making people want to listen have to do with Empathy? That made no sense to me... --Skullman1392 21:04, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• I'm sure if you had the ability and you sang, somehow you could touch them on a deep and emotional level. Before they got there, all they knew about him is what they heard, not seen. --OutbackZack 22:29, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• I was actually thinking that to. It's either what Zack said, or they just compiled together a random list of abilities.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 22:53, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• My guess is that they weren't sure what power he had. They were relativly new at this (it had only been 2 years since 1961) so they probably just weren't sure what it was.--WarGrowlmon18 22:57, 17 February 2010 (EST)
• And from an out-of-world perspective, I would bet dollars to donuts that Howie just wanted to take an opportunity to officially and explicitly name some abilities for us. For that I'm very grateful. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:41, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I guess it wouldn't have made much sense if they had said something like "Possible abilities of: sand transmutation, poison emission negation, insect mimicry and enhanced synesthesia".....--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 01:45, 18 February 2010 (EST)

Pretty Cool Idea

I really like the idea of the new GraphicNovels, "Files of Primatech" i think its great! To see the starting of the Company and them recruiting. Its such a great idea! --Scorvi12 01:20, 18 February 2010 (EST)

• I would have preferred the stories being told in a episode, or webisode series, but I am glad that the ideas are being shown.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 01:22, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I would prefer a spin-off Heroes the Company--Manwithnoname 16:59, 22 February 2010 (EST)

Victoria Pratt?

Maybe?
No.

Did I see the supposedly gay Victoria Pratt dancing with Bob? --User:Blood69 20:30, 18 February 2010 (AEST)

• I thought that was just a random woman.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 04:31, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I see some resemblance. We'll definitely know next issue (unless they drag out her "mystery"). She does seem important to Bob's storyline in this arc, if he has one.--Tim Thomason 04:55, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I just realised that Leona and Victoria might not be old enough to be the girl. If she is 29 in 1977 (as indicated by BTE on Victoria's page), then she is only 15 in 1963 and Leona has a child in 1984. Could it be our dear other female founder? Susan Amman? She might be old enough. --User:Blood69 21:27, 18 February 2010 (AEST)
• She looks nothing like how Victoria looks 14 years later. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 09:42, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• To be fair, neither does Kaito. (I don't think it's her though).--Tim Thomason 14:35, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I would hope it would be Susan, but I wouldn't rule out the possiblity of Leona. Angela said that she and Leona "were girls together" meaning around the same age. And even if they weren't, Leona can change her age, remember? --Skullman1392 20:49, 18 February 2010 (EST)

Bringing back the classics

So, who do you think, or at least hope, that they're going to bring back for this series? I'd like them to go back and visit Adam, maybe go see Joseph so we can finally, FINALLY get a definitive answer as to what his ability is. And maybe they can fill in that giant gap created by 1961 in regards to War Buddies.--Gibbeynator 11:07, 18 February 2010 (EST)

• I'm thinking Coyote Sands aftermath, Chandra, Adam, the other Founders, the Vietnam War, the taking over of Primatech, the birth of Nathan, and the installation of the Linderman Group, Yamagato, the Corinthian, Arthur's law firm, etc. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 11:50, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Well, one I really hope we're going to see is Samson. --mc_hammark 12:01, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• What has me curious is that with a power like his, there's no way he didn't catch the attention of the Company. Yet, they are totally uninterested in someone who went on a killing spree and was never captured. Odd. And I wonder who Sylar's mother is... --Ricard Desi (t,c) 12:03, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Angela! There could be any number of reasons they could retcon Angela being Sylar's mom. OK, not really, but would you honestly be surprised at this point?--Gibbeynator 18:09, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Angela can't for the reasons that Sylar's mother is dead and Angela revealed under lie detection she wasn't. No, it someone like Linda Tavara or some other girl. --User:Blood69 23:01, 19 February 2010 (AEST)
• Personally, I think it'd be funny if the only two abilities he took were TK and sedation. "Why don't you have more abilities?" "Oh, um..... I forgot them....."--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 18:12, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I doubt it. He was so old and sick at the time, he really wasn't sure what he had left. I think he didn't even remember he had telekinesis until he went after Sylar. He commented something about "amazing how it all comes back to you." I think he recalled TK to get Sylar's power.--WarGrowlmon18 18:17, 18 February 2010 (EST)

They're actual files

Although we note what happens in the Graphic Novel, are we actually noting what these files say? Should they be noted on a new article? As a thing? --mc_hammark 12:03, 18 February 2010 (EST)

• That could actually be a good idea. As actual documentable files, we can keep records. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 12:04, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I'll start up a user subpage first. User:Mc hammark/Primatech Files. --mc_hammark 12:05, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• They certainly seem to be documents, we've had documents like this before. I believe that the War Buddies GNs were from a file Hana took from the Pentagon, and that the events from the GNs in which Claude and his partner before Noah were from a report Claude falsified. Did we make articles on those? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:07, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Take a look. I've done most (if not all) of it. And yes IE we documented the Lonestar File. --mc_hammark 12:34, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Did we make an article on the file Claude falsified? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:45, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• What file was that? --mc_hammark 12:47, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I don't remember if there was actually a named report, but I do remember an interview or something similar saying that the events in the GNs were according to Claude's falsified report. The Rollo Fusor incident, his accomplice turned out to be the one who could dehydrate people. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:58, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• See Noah's files. It already has a page. ~~IHHTalk 16:46, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• But no info on the event involving Claude, his former partner and Fusor's accomplice. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:50, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Were those actual files though?? ~~IHHTalk 16:53, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Something similar to the ones in this GN, there was even an interview saying that the events shown in th GN were Claude's falsified report or something along those lines. It's been too long for me to recall exactly what it said. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 16:58, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Yeah, I just had a look at the GNs, and they're in the same kind of format as this. Perhaps we should make a page for them as well? And call it "Claude's falsified report" or something along those lines. --mc_hammark 17:01, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• So are we making an article about them? --mc_hammark 13:20, 23 February 2010 (EST)
• If the title of the series is any indication, we should be learning a lot about a bunch of Primatech files. I think it would be wise to have a separate article about these files, rather than lump them all in with the Primatech files. I'm just not sure what to call the older files... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:53, 23 February 2010 (EST)
• Hmm, we could rename what is now Primatech files to "Company files", and name these ones Primatech files. At this point it seems like it's less of the company and more of just Primatech. That or we could call them "original Primatech files", since its the original four. --mc_hammark 14:35, 24 February 2010 (EST)

Foreshadowing?

Did anyone else notice that the name of (what I think is) a reporter, in the actual file is called Iyta Samson. Bit of foreshadowing? Also, Charles smokes a pipe at 19? Guess that's how he died. --mc_hammark 12:39, 18 February 2010 (EST)

• I just saw that as a coincidence. As for the pipe thing, that was kind of odd...--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 17:12, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• What pipe thing? --mc_hammark 17:19, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• What you said above about Charles smoking....--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 17:21, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Oh right, can't believe I completely forgot about that :) --mc_hammark 17:22, 18 February 2010 (EST)

Telepathy or Japanese?

When Charles translates what Kaito said, did he read his mind or did he actually know Japanese? We've seen that telepaths can't translate another person's thoughts, as seen with brainwashed Japanese-only Hiro. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 21:09, 18 February 2010 (EST)

• Also when Noah was thinking in Japanesse in Company Man.--WarGrowlmon18 21:21, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I think you've answered your own question. Charles must have translated what Kaito said verbally.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 21:23, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Agree with what they said, but it got me thinking: does anyone know a way to translate what Kaito was saying? Could be something intresting. Or nonsense.--Ratclaws 21:34, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I was about to say that I'd cut and paste. Then it occurred to me that it was a picture....--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 21:35, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I tried yesterday. The first line starts with something like "I don't mean to disturb you, beautiful woman." The rest I was having problems with. I'll try again tonight. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 21:38, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• On Page 7, when Angela asks "How long have you been in town?", he seems to answer "I've been traveling for two weeks." Then I think he asks her if she wants to get something to eat, but I'm not sure. After that, for some reason it looks like he says "Congratulations." Though it might be a celebratory idiom or something. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 22:20, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Actually, looking at his response on Page 6, I think he understands English pretty well, but can't speak it. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 22:23, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I think that's a throwback to Our Father: Hiro said something similar when Claire asked him that.--WarGrowlmon18 23:05, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• I feel like that's a common thing to do if someone asks you if you speak a language; throw out the four or five phrases you know.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 23:12, 18 February 2010 (EST)
• Here's the 4 clips of Kaito's Kanji if it will help our resident translators: . --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/19/2010 10:25 (EST)
• The reason I asked is because just when Charles says he speaks a bit of Japanese, there's this pause, as if he had to stop himself from saying something, or as if he had to think up a way to explain how he knew what Kaito meant to say. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:27, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• I think he paused because it was an odd thing for him to know how to do. As Matt hass proved, telepathy cannot be used to translate.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 13:30, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• But explosion future Matt could "rip out" the info he wanted from explosion future Noah. I don't think Noah would stop thinking Japanese if that could still work against Matt, and in that future, Matt didn't know he could push thoughts. Hence by doubt, there is a chance it's possible. Maybe Charles knew some Japanese and used telepathy to get a more accurate translation. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:33, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• Ah, but Future Matt was looking for a location, no matter what language, Texas is still called Texas. --mc_hammark 13:58, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• Either way it's speculative, so we can't put it in. Plus, what Mc hammark said is true, and he may not have had enough reaction time to switch to Japanese.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 15:08, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• Also, the part where he says "he's in New York to escape his destiny, whatever that means". You'd think that if he was using telepathy he'd get a clearer understanding of what Kaito was trying to say.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 15:09, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• I doubt a man like Charles would use telepathy on passers by, anyway Kaito would be thinking in Japanese so how would that help-- By Danko CH 15:46, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• I just realized something. If Charles can speak some Japanese, he would just have to read Kaitos mind to discover he had a power. Maybe he did, but for some reason decided not to tell the others. Of course, being Charles, he would likely not read some random persons mind like that.--Ratclaws 16:42, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• I wouldn't put it past Charles, he seemed to care about Angela and even if he was close by, I doubt he would let her go away with someone none of them knew. I would have thought one of them would have at least picked up on the whole "destiny" part though. But I think Kaito would have had to have been thinking about it for him to know. Plus there's the whole thing where telepaths can't use their ability in loud noises, which may include Chris's playing... --mc_hammark 16:45, 19 February 2010 (EST)

Richard Drucker will make an appearance?

• What about Drucker? Will he appear though he is apparently not a founder. Though a common theory is that he is Harry Fletcher.--Blood69 23:05, 19 February 2010 (AEST)
• What isn't a theory about Harry Fletcher? --Skullman1392 08:16, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• A return of Drucker would be cool....they killed him off way to early in cyberspace. His character was quite interesting. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/19/2010 10:13 (EST)

Next Season Prelude - 1960s??

I'd personally love to see them re-ignite the series afresh and anew by coming back next season in the 1960s, and doing a volume of how it all started...like the 2nd season Origins spin-off was suppose to do that got cancelled. It would let the present tired characters and limping storyline rest and perhaps get some new and sound direction, and perhaps draw in some new audience with a complete venue change. Kinda like how Lost revitalized and grew it's audience when they took a season off-the-island. Even if they had two arcs, a 1960s arc with the upcoming Claire's freakshow out of the box arc, it would be more interesting. I'm not excited at all about the "we've exposed specials out in the open to the world" arc....they pretty much already did that in Season 2's future anyway. Would like to see some new arcs and directions...and this one, the early years of the company, is one that Heroes fans have always been especially interested in since the days of the unveiling of the group of 12. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/19/2010 15:01 (EST)

• Personally I'm hoping for a season that flips between the 60s and today. It would be a fresh idea, and very interesting.Gamerelite1 21:46, 21 February 2010 (EST)

Petrelli?

If indeed Angela was married, where was Arthur and why was she dancing with strangers?-- By Danko CH 15:47, 19 February 2010 (EST)

• I think you've just uncovered a plot hole. They were married in either 1964 or 1965, so her name should still be Shaw. Just realised this topic is already on the page, lol - Jenx222 | U / T / C | <inlcudeonly>08:00, 7 January 2012 (EST) 16:00, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• I changed the note on the page before, it isn't clear when the file was written. Whenever it was written could have been at a time when Angela was married. But on another note, they seem to have already founded the company, so doesn't that mean that there were only 4 founders? Or are we counting the founding of the company as the way we know it, the suggestions of bag and tag, one of us one of them? Because with this novel, it seems as though the others just joined these four and helped build it up, not so much help found it. --mc_hammark 16:04, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• Also, a dance doesn't automatically mean they're going to bed together. Although, they did seem pretty passionate in this case.--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 17:17, 19 February 2010 (EST)
• Well angela did sleep with kaito, so they probably did end up sleeping together on that nightGamerelite1 21:43, 21 February 2010 (EST)

Uncle Chris?

Now that I think about it seems more and more likely that Chris is actually Emma's uncle. As it is set in 1963, then his little sister is most likely to be Dr. Coolidge (Emma's mother) --Leckie -- Talk 15:40, 21 February 2010 (EST)

Wednesday Release

Will this be a continual thing from now on?-- By Danko CH 11:24, 23 February 2010 (EST)

• Yeah, I was about to ask about that. I didn't see a GN today, and I was pretty angry about it. I hope it's not going to be perpetually on tuesday.--Uncanny474 17:30, 23 February 2010 (EST)
• I don't know about Wednesday releases, but they are coming out every other week, so no new novel until at least next Tuesday.--Ratclaws 17:36, 23 February 2010 (EST)
• Umm not to be a jerk, but perpetual means "ever-lasting" (basically). I guess I just don't understand your comment... --Skullman1392 21:04, 23 February 2010 (EST)

zomg....

Or maybe I'm thinking too hard....--PJDEP - Talk - Polls and Opinions 01:08, 25 February 2010 (EST)

• Actually, I think Kaito said to escape his destiny. Possibly Hiro told him about his destiny and indirectly sent him there. --mc_hammark 11:06, 25 February 2010 (EST)
• Perhaps Hiro showing up (and telling Kaito he saved the world. Twice.) convinces him that he must be with Ishi instead of Angela. --Ricard Desi 11:11, 25 February 2010 (EST)
