Surprised

Though I was again hoping that this latest novel would be about Linda's backstory, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was about Brian. I really didn't expect to be hearing from him again, and this is the first novel in a long while not to feature any evolved human ability. It made for an okay change of pace, imho; but I'm hoping the action novels will return soon...--MiamiVolts (talk) 08:01, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

  • Interesting. I have a feeling that until we get closer to September Graphic Novels are going to be of this nature. Reintroducing us to names we've only had little contact with for filler. I'm hoping I'm wrong and we can get some more exciting novels. However, this is just fine for now. -- Lulu (talk) 11:47, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
    • Robert Atkins is drawing one issue of the three-arc Linda Tavara story now, and judging by his deadline, it'll come out next week. It's written by R.D. Hall. Judging from some other things RD told me, he is writing at least one more novel, if not all three. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:41, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
      • Yay, finally... thanks for the cool news, Ryan! R.D. Hall's other two novels were part of the Hana and Drucker series, so I'd expect he's probably writing at least two of the three. I'm looking forward to reading them.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:51, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

Website

I was expecting brianundaunted to be updated, but I didn't see anything. We should probably keep a watch on it though. -- Lulu (talk) 11:47, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

  • I was expecting it too, but then I realized the message he was writing we would be getting a different way.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:18, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
    • Joe Tolerico just wrote me and told me that brianundaunted has been updated. I don't have time to check out the updates right now... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:03, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
      • Actually, it looks like there's a new blog entry. From the way he talks about Hana, I don't think Brian is our new messenger. Could be wrong, though... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:04, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
        • Here is the direct link. Brian could still be the messenger...--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:14, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
          • Doesn't seem to be since he's asking if people have solved the clues. He did drop a hint that the name we needed to find was 8 letters long. --PeterDawson 17:15, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
            • The name we needed to find could be Brian's last name. Also, I think the clues point to a 7-letter name ("Persons"), not an 8-letter name. And for what it's worth, the sides of the dice facing us (not including the 9's) add up to the number 7 (for 7 letters? ;)).--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:18, 18 March 2008 (EDT)
  • Brian just posted again to his blog, and it seems he has registered himself on 9th wonders and is posting there similar messages, though I think it might be smart to take what he's saying with a grain of salt (he may purposely mislead us if he's out for revenge against us). BTW, shall we make a new article for Brian's blog messages?--MiamiVolts (talk) 21:03, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

Strange dices

I'm not an expert in gambling but are the dices on page 3 a blooper? Chrisyudbsname.JPGChrisyudbstalk.JPG 12:58, 18 March 2008 (EDT)

Cards

First the gold key in Ben Franklin, then the brain from Matt N., now the cards from this novel. The writers are alluding to all of the items in the vault. Hopefully they connect them in a strong way because these items were next to a world-ending virus. --Halfxwitted 13:19, 18 March 2008 (EDT)Ryan
