Oh wow

This is short but is very cool. Bob in action! Chrisyudbsname.JPGChrisyudbstalk.JPG 06:09, 8 January 2008 (EST)

  • FINALLY, some more Alchemy!!! Even if it was gold again, that was the most badass way to use that ability. I love Bob. --NellaBishop 08:51, 8 January 2008 (EST)
  • Interesting offensive use of it. FYI Alchemy has only been shown on the show once. --  Seclusion  talk / contribs 09:01, 8 January 2008 (EST)
    • I know, that's why I'm so happy to see it again. It's way too cool of an ability to only be shown once. I have the urge to watch Aladdin and the King of Thieves now. :P --NellaBishop 09:18, 8 January 2008 (EST)
      • I was waiting for Bob to use his ability to turn someone to gold! I'm so glad he did it somewhere! Might have been better on TV though... --Isaac Mendez 09:07, 26 October 2008 (EDT)

John O'Hara?

Does anyone know who John O'Hara is? -Lөvөl 11:10, 8 January 2008 (EST)

  • No. I think it might be an alias. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:08, 8 January 2008 (EST)
  • There was also a John O'Hara writer who died in 1970, so it unlikely to be him. Imho, they mean this one, who has a screenplay in filming for release in 2008 and is better known as John K. O'Hara.--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:10, 8 January 2008 (EST)
    • Good find. I'll see what I can find out, but I can't promise anything. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:27, 8 January 2008 (EST)
  • He's the guy who wrote this novel, of course! :D --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 00:38, 9 January 2008 (EST)

Timing is everything

Funny this was released the same day Goose Gossage was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame.--Bob (talk) 15:04, 8 January 2008 (EST)

So in 1977 Drucker moved from the USA (university) to Bangalore, India, where is jumpstarted India's computer revolution, and he moved again to Bhutan in 1992 (15 years ago, since the novel was likely written before the strike). The early 1990's seems to be an important year for the Company, as the Golden Handshake novels were also set around this time...--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:48, 8 January 2008 (EST)

Nobody else found that quite... sick?

Bob turned the man into gold, and melted him! That would make me assume that his whole body including organs turned into pure gold, but that's just speculation, but otherwise they'd be melting organs into their gold collection!--Riddler 18:31, 8 January 2008 (EST)

  • I guess the apple didn't fall too far from the tree. (Admin 18:54, 8 January 2008 (EST))
    • I'm pretty sure he was turned into pure gold... the question remains, though, if Sylar was goldified, would he be able to use liquefaction to turn himself into a golden T-1000 (like the one from Terminator II)? ;)--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:57, 8 January 2008 (EST)
      • The way Bob acted in this graphic novel was more of how I expected him to be as a villain. I think Tim even said they originally had him more evil than he appeared to be in Volume Two, so him going badass in this was great. Also, if liquefaction + alchemy = a golden T-1000, I'll crap my pants of happiness. :P --NellaBishop 00:27, 9 January 2008 (EST)
        • Well, telekinesis would be involved too to sustain his form, but it would definately be cool. :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:31, 9 January 2008 (EST)
