Can the cat by any chance be Garfield? AltesUTC CH 09:59, 12 January 2010 (EST)

  • I also saw the guy from Mad Money. It's that stock show. --OutbackZack 13:14, 12 January 2010 (EST)
    • The cat could be Garfield, I can see how that would work. By the way, the big trees from The Lord Of The Rings are called "Ents". --Leckie -- Talk 13:17, 12 January 2010 (EST)
  1. Hannible Lector (Suresh)
  2. The Cat looks more like the tiger from Calvin & Hobbes.
  3. Just throwing it out there, perhaps the tree creature is from The Neverending Story?
  4. He-Man (I have the POWER!)
  5. Vampire from the Twilight movies

The mall "demons" I believe are supposed to be Angel and Buffy. The girl looks very much like a brunette Sarah Michelle Gellar, anyway. And thats Jim Cramer on TV at the end, of course. --Action Figure 16:01, 12 January 2010 (EST)

  • And of course the Store the "demon" mannequins are in is "Cold Topic", a reference to the real life "Hot Topic" stores. (I used to work in one. Awful.) --Action Figure 16:05, 12 January 2010 (EST)

Did they screw it up on purpose? To avoid copyright infringement, or just to anger fanboys? "Power of Blackskull", my ***. Also, GANNON-BANNED. --BAGTbird 16:38, 12 January 2010 (EST)

  • and the guy from mad money was there on tv, but he wasn't a hallucination. Also ganon's name was mispelled.Gamerelite1 17:41, 12 January 2010 (EST)
    • Yeah, I already said Jim Cramer was on there. I know it was real, but he is a reference to real life pop culture. And anything they word differently or draw differently is to avoid copyright --Action Figure 01:00, 13 January 2010 (EST)

(Rolls eyes)

Okay, what was the point of this novel? I loved Part 1 but this part makes little sense. While I am on the subject, was anyone else upset about the corresponding episode "Close to You"? Such a long drawn out episode with Hiro/Ando saving Suresh - that debacle would have made a perfect Part 2 novel.--Halfxwitted 13:43, 12 January 2010 (EST)

  • I agree, part 2 was confusing and would have been much better if they had included the Hiro/Ando/Suresh part from the ep into the GN. --Leckie -- Talk 13:46, 12 January 2010 (EST)
    • I agree with title of the novel: Hiro was seriously tripping in it and not the kind they meant, but more like the kind of "tripping" Ando was doing while accidentally drugged.--WarGrowlmon18 14:27, 12 January 2010 (EST)
