Six Months Ago
Gabriel Gray works on fixing a watch he has been working on for seven years. Chandra Suresh enters, and Gabriel fixes his visitor's watch, telling him that he has the ability to automatically know how things work. Chandra confronts him about Sylar's potential status as an evolved human. After Chandra doubts Gabriel's powers, Gabriel contacts Brian Davis to come to the shop. Shortly after Davis enters, Gabriel announces himself as "Gabriel Sylar". After Davis reveals his telekinesis, Sylar murders Davis with a large quartz crystal.
The Hard Part
Sylar tells his mother that he still works at the watch shop.
Villains
Gabriel, wrought with guilt from the murder of Brian Davis, attempts to hang himself in the back of his shop. However, Elle arrives just in time and uses lightning to sever Gabriel's noose as he is hanging, saving his life.

After Matt Parkman traps Sylar alone in a telepathic world, Sylar returns to the familiar occupation of timepiece collection and repair.
