The hospital director meets with Mohinder Suresh, who seeks financial contributions to his research. As the director begins to respond, the power goes out. The director then tells Mohinder that there is barely enough money to keep the hospital going with all the blackouts, let alone enough to make a donation to such an insane cause as Mohinder's. The director pushes Mohinder aside and greets a man who carries a Primatech briefcase.
