The hospital director meets with Mohinder Suresh, who asks him for financial contribution to his research. As the director begins to respond, the power goes out. The director then tells Mohinder that he will barely have enough money to keep his hospital going with all the blackouts, let alone to make a donation to such an insane cause as Mohinder's. He pushes him aside as the director waves and greets a man who carries a Primatech briefcase.
