About
Unexpected
Mohinder and Sylar (masquerading as Zane Taylor) stay the night in a motel in rural Bozeman, Montana while visiting an evolved human with enhanced hearing. The establishing shot of the motel is extremely similar to the establishing shot of the Bates Motel in Psycho, including the "Vacancy" sign outside. Further, both motels contain mentally disturbed killers.
Notes
- Sylar and Mohinder check into rooms 22 and 23, respectively. Marion checks into room 1.
- Some have found Sylar (especially as Gabriel Gray) and Norman Bates (especially as Anthony Perkins's portrayal) to be similar in appearance: both have an unassuming look and a simple haircut. They both appear to be in their early-to-mid-20s. They are both tall, slender, and handsome.
