Richard worked in the makeup department on television programs such as Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, How I Met Your Mother, Numb3rs, Eleventh Hour, Miami Trauma, Army Wives, The Big Bang Theory, "Everybody Hates Chris, Carpoolers, "CSI: NY, and The Chronicle. He also worked in the makeup department on films such as Stolen Lives, Angels & Demons, The Soloist, Star Trek, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Town Creek, Disaster Movie, Flu Bird Horror, Hancock, The Incredible Hulk, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Resident Evil: Extinction, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Chupacabra Terror, Saw, Underworld, and Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2.
