Shaila is Anna's partner in the cafe.
Character History
Building 26
Annapurna brings Ando and Hiro to the bakery and café that she has run with Shaila for the last two years. Shaila brings a selection of Indian sweets to reward Anna's new "hero" and later tells Ando that the man who has arrived to talk to Anna is Deepak, Anna's fiancé. When Anna decides to go through with her wedding, Shaila is among the guests, but when Anna explains to her grandfather that marrying Deepak would mean giving up the life she really wants, she looks at Shaila and smiles.
