Stub

I removed the stub ... It seems to me like there are already sources for each spoiler. As for more spoilers, this is a pretty good list of things I've heard so far. If there are more spoilers, they'll be added. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:45, 7 May 2007 (EDT)

Names

There goes the meanigful biblical names. :/ --Heroe!(talk) (contribs) 10:35, 1 June 2007 (EDT)

  • Kane is somewhat biblical, and this is just my speculation but I think Kane may very well turn out to be one of Sylar's older relatives and also the Being who might see Molly.--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:07, 18 June 2007 (EDT)
    • Could be. I'm still sold on Molly's villain being Uluru, simply because the writers said that Uluru would be somewhat addressed before the end of the season. Molly's comment is about the only thing I can think of that's even close to an Uluru mention. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:13, 18 June 2007 (EDT)

Martha

Sara Solomon is listed on IMDb as playing "Martha". The only other thing I could find about Sara Solomon in connection with Heroes is here, and that's not much. Anybody know anything else about Sara Solomon or Martha? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:38, 6 July 2007 (EDT)

  • Based on her age, I'm guessing that she's going to play one of the students/cheerleaders at Claire's new LA high school. SyFy Portal doesn't mention her, but it does mention Dianna Agron as a new cheerleader.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:12, 6 July 2007 (EDT)
    • ...and Lyndsy Fonseca. I just haven't heard Martha's name or Sara's name anywhere in relation to Heroes. But then again, IMDb doesn't always have the best track record for being correct. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:22, 6 July 2007 (EDT)
      • There are some French and Italian sites, but they may just be using info from IMDb. -Lөvөl 16:41, 9 July 2007 (EDT)
        • Funny. The Italian site quotes IMDb as its source, and the French site quotes ... itself. Nice. ... I'll go ahead and make a note of it anyway. Who knows if it's correct -- it's not more or less credible than many of the other sites. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:50, 9 July 2007 (EDT)

Dana Davis

I didn't put any links on Dana Davis (Monica) because I could only really find the blog Seat42F as the originating source, not one of the standards like Variety or The Hollywood Reporter. I can't be sure if it's for real, but at the same time I didn't want to discount it completely. I'll check into it later today and see what else I can find. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:12, 20 July 2007 (EDT)

Portal

There are so many new characters being added, I'm finding it a bit difficult to keep track of them. And our dump-it-all-in-one-spot list of spoilers doesn't help keep things organized very much (other than generally putting newest spoilers at the top). I decided to add a little quasi-portal to the gallery section with links to new actors and their characters. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:09, 20 July 2007 (EDT)

Zach

Did the report say no Zach? Couldn't the part be recast?--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:16, 24 July 2007 (EDT)

  • Good point...but I'm pretty sure it means Zach won't be returning either (especially since the fam will be in So Cal, and Zach is stuck in Derricktown, TX). -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:27, 24 July 2007 (EDT)

Fake Kensei?

LOL, Darryl Chan would be great as the real thing and David Anders as the Dragon... hmm indeed.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:23, 25 July 2007 (EDT)

Youtube...

Aren't the youtube videos from 7/28 and 8/1 of the same trailer? Looks like it to me...--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:15, 1 August 2007 (EDT)

  • Could be. I've seen a bunch of different shots from various cell phones, etc. of people who were in attendance, and they all look like the same garbled mess to me. I think just one link to one video is enough, though. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:38, 1 August 2007 (EDT)

Sylar in Hawaii

I'm fairly certain Sylar is now in Hawaii. Which is awesome. --DocM 08:15, 10 August 2007 (EDT)

  • Eh! Is it the speculation of the day ? :) Where from do you got this information ? Maybe there is a path to Hawai in the sewer? --  (talk) 08:21, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
    • I just watched that trailer Ryan linked to. Sylar's wearing a Hawaiian shirt, and the general atmosphere speaks "limbo contest". --DocM 08:22, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
      • That's a spoiler from the NBC primetime show trailer. And umm, either it's Candice that rescued Sylar or else the Being who might see Molly has her power...--MiamiVolts (talk) 10:34, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
        • When I saw the poor sound quality version of said trailer, I couldn't hear what Sylar was saying. Still, he's in Hawaii, and that woman is clearly a hula girl. (If Sylar is with Candice, then, you know, bye Candice.) --DocM 12:32, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
          • I was thinking it was more a hallunication than an illusion, but who knows?--Leshia 12:42, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
          • He says "So none of this is real" --Densus 13:55, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
  • Maybe he's having a Mai Tai with Adam Soo Hoo. -- FissionChips 12:32, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
    • I don't think Sylar is in Hawaii on the beach. I believe that is a Candace illusion. If you watch the Kindred Preview, that shows them on the beach, just before the next scene changes, the camera does a quick zoom-out from their little sandy patch, and you see that they are surrounded by what appears to be miles and miles of forest on every side. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 10/5/2007 12:49 (EST)

Mr. Petrelli?

Now with Spock, Sulu and Uhura going to be on the show, anyone else think they're going to try to get William Shatner (Kirk) to play Mr. Petrelli? He's already an attorney on Boston Legal (so not that much of a stretch)...--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:48, 13 August 2007 (EDT)

  • Only problem is the Shat doesn't look too much like this guy. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:15, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
    • Well, he's supposed to be older in 2006... who would be a good cast, then? Patrick Stewart?--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:17, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
      • Adrian Pasdar's father? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:23, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
        • Eddie Izzard, clearly. --DocM 16:32, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
        • IMDb lists Pasdar's dad as a heart surgeon. I doubt he'll be interested...--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:36, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
          • Izzard looks like he'd be great for the part.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:37, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
  • They could continue with Star Trek actors and try to get Scott Bakula. I'd love to see that. Or even save him for a character that has Hiro's power of time travel. That would be too funny. Plus I didn't realize it at first, but to me he even resembles Adrian Pasdar somewhat. (Admin 23:18, 13 August 2007 (EDT))
    • Heh. I just suggested here 5 hours ago on IMDb that they use Bakula for an Origins episode. He doesn't have Dallas's brown hair, though... If it has to be a Star Trek actor, perhaps Colm Meaney (O'Brien) is the better choice. Both would be good choices, imho.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:29, 13 August 2007 (EDT)
      • I would absolutely FAINT if they got Scott Bakula!! Where do I sign up to be an extra if that happens? Disney42 12:26, 18 September 2007 (EDT)

"Kristin" "spoilers"

New "spoilers" from "Kristin": [1] I'm using scare quotes around "spoilers" because, well, they're not spoilers. (Ooh, the characters will share screen time! Ooh, Niki and Claire will cross paths...again.) I'm using scare quotes around "Kristin" because she's MIA (honeymoon I think?). -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:36, 14 August 2007 (EDT)

The Washington Post

  • It looks like a writer for The Washington Post thought highly enough of our aggregate spoiler page to link to it from their new article on the Heroes Season One DVD release. Great job pulling together all the published spoilers and thanks Washington Post! (Admin 02:06, 28 August 2007 (EDT))
    • Oh, now that's really cool! I think that deserves a mention on the community portal. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:15, 28 August 2007 (EDT)
      • I usually save the Community Portal announcements for articles about us or where we're mentioned by name. To be honest, we've been linked to from other major sites before that I haven't mentionted. It's still impressive to see, though. (Admin 02:21, 28 August 2007 (EDT))
        • Gotcha. I'm curious who else has linked to us, I wasn't aware. Maybe I'll check out that links section... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:25, 28 August 2007 (EDT)

Ricky Gervais

Very cool if it's true. Stark Gossip seems to think it's confirmed, but they don't give any links. You can see him say it himself, but he also seems to say that things aren't very solid....Plus, I love the way he gushes about the show. I love watching true fans get excited about the show. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:35, 2 September 2007 (EDT)

  • I am forcing myself to not get my hopes up, because otherwise I'll be crushed if it turns out to not be true. Best freaking news ever.--Leshia 22:57, 3 September 2007 (EDT)

Episode 8

Yahoo! seems to call episode 8 Four Months Ago...sort of. It's certainly not confirmed to me. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:59, 5 September 2007 (EDT)

  • Yeah, since they haven't repeated numbered titles so far, it'll probably be something like "Three Months Prior" or "Three Months & Thirty Days Ago", heh.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:45, 6 September 2007 (EDT)

Sanjay Madhav

I didn't include a link to Sanjay Madhav because I'm not really trusting he's in the episode yet. Not only does it say "uncredited" (the episode hasn't aired yet), but it lists his character's name as the name he uses to credit himself sometimes. Just seems dodgy. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:48, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

Costa Verde, CA

The spoiler says it is a fictional place. However, there is a Costa Verde, CA; a small area in the 92122 zipcode area of San Deigo, of which Costa Verde Blvd runs through. I think there is also a Costa Verde beach (esp playa de Costa Verde) in Southern CA. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 09/14/2007 15:34 (EST)

  • That'll make some interesting trivia for the page. I'm always a bit wary of spoilers. I wonder who is defining "fictional". For instance, Odessa is a real place, but the mountains in the background make it purely fictional. I have a feeling Costa Verde is based on a real place, just like Odessa is based on a real place, too. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:53, 14 September 2007 (EDT)

Enquirer spoilers

  • Yanno, I hate to say it, but some of these seem reasonable. The shot of Ando yelling from a roof "KAITO!", the lighting effects with Peter's hand outstretched, Sylar's line "So none of this is real", Monica kicking some guy after swinging around a pole, etc. I'm hoping not all of these are true though (the whole Bob thing).--Bob 01:47, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
  • Yeah, that's kind of the general feeling around the web--I don't want to trust them because of the source (and the complete lack of verifiability), and some of them seem a bit far fetched...but most of them make sense with other things we've heard and seen. They're not too far off. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 05:50, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
  • The thing is, most of those spoilers were available long before the Enquirer spoilers were released. Many of the Enquirer spoilers sound almost identical to common fan speculation inspired by those sources. And there have been a few contradictions since they were released. The Enquirer has Kaito Nakemura being killed in episode 2, but according to the official description, George Takei isn't even in that episode. It has Mohinder saving the Haitian's life and Sylar killing Candice in episode 3, but neither Jimmy Jean Louis or Missy Peregrim are listed for that episode. And some of them just plain don't make sense. Sylar kills Candice, then loses his powers? Who the heck is Derek and what happened to Alejandro? The whole Bob thing... Which isn't to say that they didn't manage to get their hands on a few genuine spoilers, but I seriously distrust most of these, especially given their source (according to Wikipedia, the Enquirer actually pays their sources for information). Conduit 21:51, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
    • Well, Candice can always make herself look like another person, and Missy has been busy filming Reaper, which is going to be another awesome show, by the way! :D —AvadaNella 16:01, 22 September 2007 (EDT)

Kristen Bell NYPost article

Stephen Tobolowsky

  • I'm not sure I agee with EW that he's going to be the new Company boss. An agent yes, but the boss?--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:43, 21 September 2007 (EDT)
  • When I saw Stephen Tobolowsky talking to Mohinder in that recent season two spoiler video I just kept imagining him saying, "Mohinder? It's me... Ned Ryerson... BING!" Ahh, Groundhog Day. (Admin 17:44, 21 September 2007 (EDT))
    • Isn't he trying to sell Mohinder some insurance? .... I read that same thing in EW and I'm not sure "boss" has the same connotation as we may be thinking. Afterall, Thompson and even Mr. Bennet were bosses of sorts, even if neither was the "big boss". It'll be interesting to see... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:54, 21 September 2007 (EDT)

Victoria Platt

  • Hmm, might SpoilerTV be hinting Victoria Pratt is joining the cast? That would be interesting...--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:25, 24 September 2007 (EDT)
    • I'm too busy being excited over Joanna Cassidy myself. I love her!--Leshia 20:48, 24 September 2007 (EDT)

RedEye report

The following "spoiler" has been added to the top of the page: "In the Sept. 25th issue of RedEye (a Chicago newspaper), an article hints that Peter could be a bad guy. " Does that really count as a spoiler? Reading the article it looks like it's just speculation by a reporter that doesn't really follow the show that closely. He's speculating that because Peter is wearing a necklace bearing the same symbol that was on the warning picutres, he must've been the one that teleported across the world to kill Hiro's dad. A pretty far reach, especially when you realize just how often that symbol shows up, it's not exactly unique to those two situations. --Maelwys 08:54, 28 September 2007 (EDT)

  • I agree with you, it's not really a traditional spoiler--it's the same speculating that the rest of us do, only this reporter has access to widespread publishing. I don't think it hurts to have it on the page, but I wouldn't object if somebody wanted to take it off, either. (How's that for a noncommittal response?) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:30, 28 September 2007 (EDT)
  • I saw that and didn't think that it was a spoiler either. Yet, I applaud the poster to adding the link to the article on Red Eye. I don't know if the reporter follows the show closely or not, but regardless, this appears to be a theory on the report's part. --Pinkkeith 11:37, 28 September 2007 (EDT)

Casting from SpoilerTV

Did it say Odessa, TX or just Odessa? According to the CBR interview, the show will feature a city in Ukraine that is familiar (such as Odesa).--Bob 16:45, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I'm gooooood.--Bob (Talk) 00:20, 16 October 2007 (EDT)

Incorrect spoilers?

  • What's the policy on spoilers that get reported but are incorrect? Do we add a note, strike them out, or delete them entirely? For instance the National Enquirer spoilers said that Bob was Matt's father. After watching the episode if they only saw a particular clip prior to the commercial I could see how they could make that mistake since I wasn't sure if Matt was talking about Bob or the other guy for certain until afterwards. (Admin 00:16, 16 October 2007 (EDT))
    • In general, we just leave them. I deleted Spoiler:Being who might see Molly, but that's just because it was a redirect to Spoiler:Takezo Kensei, which is now clearly wrong and misleading. We have been archiving old episode spoilers, but we haven't really been doing anything with bum spoilers.--Hardvice (talk) 00:20, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
      • We should lock them and discredit the original sources. --Xmuskrat 18:01, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

Hmmm....

So... when are new spoilers going to be added to the article? just wondering since Oct 13th was the last one.Random guy 20:01, 25 October 2007 (EDT)

Major Spoiler Image.

I just found an absolutely huge spoiler picture, but I'm not sure if I should post it. What do you guys think?--Avenger 18:33, 7 November 2007 (EST)

  • I unwillingly saw what you're probably thinking of posting, and even in spoilers, that's huge. --Riddler 18:36, 7 November 2007 (EST)
    • I'm afraid to post it because of the numerous death threats I'll probably receive.--Avenger 18:38, 7 November 2007 (EST)
      • Wow, is it really that bad?--Ice Vision 18:43, 7 November 2007 (EST)
        • Yes. --Riddler 18:55, 7 November 2007 (EST)
          • It could go down as the defining moment of the season. It almost made me sick.--Avenger 19:03, 7 November 2007 (EST)

I like knowing. If you want to, its your choice. Hint to the link? --Trance.fusion 19:10, 7 November 2007 (EST)

  • I say post it, but be sure to immediately add the "unairedspoiler" mark to the image and/or any page you create with it. The code for unaired spoilers is unairedspoiler enclosed in double curvy brackets "{{}}".--Trecord 20:08, 7 November 2007 (EST)
    • Just say where to post it, and I'll do it.--Avenger 20:39, 7 November 2007 (EST)
    • Upload it here Special:Upload. --Trecord 20:48, 7 November 2007 (EST)
  • If it's the one I think you're all talking about I don't think it's that clear as to what's gonna happen, it's not definitive. Plus in a way we have already been told. That's if you're talking about the same image im talking about. --SomeoneImportant 20:44, 7 November 2007 (EST)
    • Reading this makes me so confused...lol.--The Empath 20:45, 7 November 2007 (EST)
  • Well... I've uploaded it... I won't be posting the link in here, though. Find it if you want, but don't kill me for it.--Avenger 20:47, 7 November 2007 (EST)
    • Oh, I see. I don't see why it's such a big spoiler, though. We all knew it was coming.--Ice Vision 20:48, 7 November 2007 (EST)
      • Wow, not as big as I was thinking but still pretty big.--The Empath 20:49, 7 November 2007 (EST)
  • It is the one I had seen, I would change the caption though, how do you know it is his urn, he could be standing behind Claire. I guess people can guess what the image is by now. --SomeoneImportant 20:57, 7 November 2007 (EST)
