300,000 on games

As a point of clarification, it appears you need $300,000 on EACH of the games. I have $300,000 each on the poker and blackjack games and still cannot register for the Titan Club. (still working on the slot machine) Disney42 21:59, 21 February 2007 (EST)

  • I did it on all on video poker, so you can do it with just one game. But you have to break $300,000, not just reach it. If you have exactly $300,000 you won't get the message.--Hardvice (talk) 22:03, 21 February 2007 (EST)
    • I have $325k on blackjack, still no message. (sigh) Disney42 22:07, 21 February 2007 (EST)
      • Maybe it's higher than $300k then. I went from exactly $300k to $400k, so I couldn't tell you, but there were reports on the boards of getting the invite at just over $300k.--Hardvice (talk) 22:11, 21 February 2007 (EST)
      • My guess is that it's closer to $400k. I got the invite (finally) at $425k on blackjack. It's definitely higher than $325k though. Disney42 22:16, 21 February 2007 (EST)
        • Well this rules me out. I can't get 300K plus on any of these games. I can't get close. I keep crapping out. If this were real money I'd be in hock to Linderman so deep he woulda used me as his stunt double in the finale. - ZachsMind 22:03, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

Hiro and Ando painting

Oh dear. How exactly did Linderman supposedly get this one when a) Isaac isn't (intentionally) selling his prophectic paintings and b) it's still in his studio in Unexpected?

For that matter, why are two of the paintings dated 2007 when the show is still in late October 2006? The ARG is presumably also set in the same time, since Hana keeps talking about events on the show.--Hardvice (talk) 18:40, 24 February 2007 (EST)

  • Prophecy of a prophecy? ;-) -Zeckalpha 18:47, 24 February 2007 (EST)
    • Linderman got most of Isaac's paintings because Devereaux's daughter was selling them. That's an easy one to answer. What's not easy to answer is how can Isaac's paintings predict anything that happened after the explosion, when from his point in temporal history there was no future after the explosion? The writers do seem a little confused regarding time. I don't think they're trying to stick to time as diligently as the Lost writers are doing. The genre of comic book superhero tales are notorious for messing with time. They want whatever story you're experiencing to be happening 'now' in whatever now is your reality. So anything that dates such a story messes it up. However, incorporating elements like time travel and prophecy into such stories DOES date your story by necessity. - ZachsMind 22:09, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
      • Yes, but Isaac stopped Simone from selling any of his prophetic paintings. Like, physically pulled them out of her hands and told her to only sell the old stuff. One or two that he didn't realize were prophetic (like the missing painting) might slip through, but not all of the ones shown in the online gallery. And there's no way the painting of Hiro and Ando can be among them because it's still in his studio when Simone gets shot.--Hardvice (talk) 23:46, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

New paintings

  • I just got a Corinthian email saying the archives have been updated with more images, but I haven't played the games enough to be in the Titan Club and see them. This is the message I got:

"Mr. Linderman has released additional artwork to his online archive. But due to recent events, you will have to visit http://www.corinthianlasvegas.com and play the Corinthian Casino's FREE games to gain access to these new images. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you will visit us the next time you are in Las Vegas." FlyingMan 22:26, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

  • What sucks is you get the same email even if you were in. And it resets your balance! Grrr.--Hardvice (talk) 23:12, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
  • Okay, made it back in. New password is "Vietnam". Only 3 paintings, and only one new, and it's just The Symbol. Poo.--Hardvice (talk) 23:30, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
    • What was your new balance? I started from scratch on a new game (poker), got up to $1.6 million, and have still not been invited. Disney42 15:24, 17 March 2007 (EDT)
      • I got $300k on one game with no invitation, dropped a bit, and hit $400k and got one, so it should be somewhere between $359k-$400k. However, I've heard of some people not getting the invite at all this time. I've read theories that it's not an overall balance, but winning a single large bet. (This time, I had $200k, bet $100k, and won $300k on one hand to hit $400k, so there might be something to that.)--Hardvice (talk) 21:27, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

Titan Club, part 3

The mail say that we can use our member password, I assume it's vietnam from part 2 but there is log-in boxes anywhere. So we have to play again ? =/ --FrenchFlo(talk)(contribs) 18:47, 26 March 2007 (EDT)

Latest Update

God, these ARG people are lame. First of all, there are no new paintings in this update. Second of all, there's no way Linderman has these paintings, since they're still in Isaac's apartment -- and in particular, there's no way he can have the unfinished Sylar painting since it's been finished. I'd have preferred no update to such a bad one.--Hardvice (talk) 18:48, 26 March 2007 (EDT)

  • Agree it's lame, and the unfinished painting is, well, silly. But remember, there have been paintings that were labeled 2007, so it seems corinthianlasvegas.com is in the present, not October 2006. There's a possibility they're not in Isaac's apartment anymore. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:27, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
    • I think you're probably giving them too much credit and using one error to explain another, but it is possible. The other theory I've heard is that if Linderman is connected to the Company, he could have gotten copies of the paintings from them (which would explain the copy of the explosion painting, which has at least been seen on-screen, and which the Company also had a reproduction of). That still doesn't explain the unfinished Sylar painting, which only existed for less than a day and was probably only seen by Isaac and Peter in its unfinished state. Like the rest of the ARG content, it all seems kind of haphazard and poorly executed.--Hardvice (talk) 03:25, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
      • Oh, don't mistake my finger-pointing for credit-giving. :) I'm enjoying the 360 stuff, but am supremely disappointed that it's not up to par. I remember some of the online Smallville stuff, and still think it was better executed, despite the older technology and newness of the concept. It strikes me very odd that they would so explicitly label something "2007". As much as the 360 content (including Hana's website and Hiro's blog) seems to be in a different timeline than the aired episodes, so too does the fact-checking appear to be in a dimension of its own. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 04:09, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
        • I notice that nothing has had a date attached since then. My guess is they just weren't thinking: they realized these paintings hadn't been seen yet, and that it was 2007, and went with that.
What's particularly weird is that it's the same guy who was responsible for the Smallville online content--but then again, they've called the ARG to date a "beta test", so maybe they're just taking it slow to gauge people's interest.--Hardvice (talk) 04:13, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

New Paintings

All of the Invisibility series are up on the archives now. *Sigh* While it's nice to have good, clean versions of these, they're a bit small, and again, from a game standpoint, make no sense whatsoever. I didn't get an email this time; has anybody else gotten one yet?--Hardvice (talk) 13:11, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

  • Huh, the empty street one is different, there's no people in it.--Leshia 13:16, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
  • Does the Rooftop View one count as being from the Invisibility Series? It's not listed on that page.--Leshia 13:25, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
    • No, not really. I just overlooked that one.--Hardvice (talk) 13:30, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

Fantastic 4

corinthianlasvegas.com has been updated with Fantastic 4 cards and slots, see here. Lөvөl 17:51, 4 June 2007 (EDT)

Another way in

Hana would be proud of this method - though everyone else, especially those who earned the credits the "old fashioned" way, may not like it!

I searched through my cookies (using FireFox) and found several cookies related to the Corinthian Casino. The cookies are from site "www.corinthianlasvegas.com" with the name "pokercash" "BJcash" and "slotscash". Each of these cookies has a Content value equal to the amount of money you have for each respective game. I used an extension called "Add N Edit Cookies" to change this value to a high number - I used 500000.

When you visit the casino game again, you get the "Join the Titan Club" dialog! Unfortunately, after you attempt to register, you get a "page not found" error on the NBC website.

Since Hana is a hacker herself and the fact that it's really easy to rig these games (if you know where to look) makes me wonder if they were designed intentionally to be hackable. Every other part of the Heroes ARGs have been relatively easy to decode, and none of them rely on chance to discover their secret, so why should this one be any different?

Hana's family tree

So this brings up a very good question that has been hounding us for the last few weeks. At exactly what point do we use Heroes 360 content as canon? It's mostly names that have been revealed so far: Linderman's first name, Mr. Petrelli's first name, Mr. Parkman's first name, and now a bunch of people from Hana's family including her father, mother, and all four grandparents. Personally, I'm beginning to see a trend that NBC is releasing a lot of information via 360 sites. I'm beginning to lean much more towards including the information in full (i.e. changing article names as necessary), so long as it doesn't contradict canon sources higher in the hierarchy, of course. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:53, 22 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I'd say if 360 info is canon, GN's are fully canon as well. They fit right into the storyline along with everything else, just keep an eye for inconsistencies(sp?).--Riddler 19:57, 22 October 2007 (EDT)
    • I concur, fwiw, since the new labeling, "HEROES Evolutions", seems to emphasize that info from those sites further expands the number of sources where a person can learn more HEROES information. 'ROESian
  • Yanno, I agree. I still want to be hesitant about the Maury and Arthur stuff since those are two very important characters, but why would they bring up Hana's family history with mysterious David left out (who's around the same age as the group of twelve. So I'm for it.--Bob (talk) 19:57, 22 October 2007 (EDT)
    • Well, Maury and Arthur were in the video game, not Heroes Evolutions stuff (though Maury is named in the Interactive, commentary, and graphic novel), so even if we accept Heroes 360 stuff as canon-ish (which I thought we already did--it's on par with the graphic novels, according to Help:Sources) we don't necessarily have to accept "Arthur" yet. An aside: anybody think Hana's uncle David and David are going to end up being one and the same?--Hardvice (talk) 05:41, 25 October 2007 (EDT)

Interesting (to me) note about Seville

I went to the Seville website, and on this page was a date that caught my eye. I don't know if the writers would end up putting stuff that seem like coincidences together, but check out this little excerpt:

Seville, with its aroused counter-reformist spirit, was transformed urbanistically into a convent-city. In 1671 there were some 45 monasteries for Monks, 28 of them exclusively for women.

I was searching for a "Monastery of the Cross", and found this reference to 1671. That would be interesting if Takezo/Adam's story was told that he somehow left Japan after the trials of Kensei and became a monk (with a wife) in Spain. :D 'ROESian

Privacy Policy

It's kinda interesting cause they actually have a privacy policy in a fictional website. Rayhond 00:46, 25 October 2007 (EDT)

  • Well, it's still a real website, even if it's set in a fictional world. And since they do collect information from visitors (you used to have to sign up with an email address to join the Titan Club), it makes sense that they have a privacy policy--both in the real world and in the world of Heroes.--Hardvice (talk) 00:53, 25 October 2007 (EDT)

What are the links?

I can't click "Contemporary Art" for some reason, so I can't do anything past that. --Riddler 19:28, 29 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I used tab to find where it was moved to. --Riddler 19:29, 29 October 2007 (EDT)
    • Anybody figure out what the new stuff is about today? "All available additional info see: Username: Linderman Password: RDghxlla". Huh? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:50, 29 October 2007 (EDT)
      • I just realized... it's familiar to us.
Folder Username Password Sex Enhanced Human
C001 bennet HGghx11a Female Hana Gitelman
C002 bennet MPggtn75x Male Matt Parkman

Take special note that aside from the first two letters (RD), the rest is identical to Hana's password, unless those are l's and not 1's. Unfortunatley, there is nothing left on primatech paper to access.--Riddler 23:25, 29 October 2007 (EDT)

  • Very possible that those are 1's and not l's--hard to tell on a handwritten image of a Post-It note. I have a feeling NBC is just being slow with the updates. Or they're playing some sort of mind game with us. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:49, 29 October 2007 (EDT)
  • I just tried to access it and it just noted my IP and said I didn't have permission. I used capital I's for the password. --PeterDawson 12:30, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
  • Someone just posted a direct link on Heroes-Clues to the new page. Probably NBC is having some trouble. The direct link is http://www.primatechpaper.com/T1001/A012/ --Kanichol 17:34, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
