Since a lot of these can now be verified, should we strikethrough the ones which didn't turn out correct? This way, we would have a history of theories, but someone coming to the Hunter's page won't be confused by ones which conflict and can be proven untrue. Choytw -- Talk 09:45, 18 December 2008 (EST) tim kring confirmed it... he is not a evolved human--Manwithnoname 17:40, 14 January 2009 (EST)

Can we put down a source for his name under Published Spoilers rather than just in the changelog? --Yamawhata? 12:10, 27 January 2009 (EST)

In one of the spoilers, there are links to magazine scans, in one them, it's mentioned that Angela knows his name, and they give it. Hold on, let me find it. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:28, 27 January 2009 (EST)

Danko?

Was he called "Danko" in A Clear and Present Danger? I don't recall that, and apologize if I missed it on my one viewing. If it's from spoiler info, then it should be removed in case it turns out incorrect or misleading.--Tim Thomason 22:49, 2 February 2009 (EST)

  • Zeljko Ivanek calls himself that in interviews. Last week's TV Guide, for instance, had him calling his character that name. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:12, 2 February 2009 (EST)
  • All I know is, I'm gonna laugh so hard if they change the name, because "Danko" is not official xD - Meteoritu
    • Yeah, it is. Nathan used it in Trust and Blood. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 17:17, 12 February 2009 (EST)
      • In what part? - Meteoritu February 14th, 2009. 2:20 pm
        • When he was talking to Angela on the phone for the first time. He sighs, sits down and holds his head, and grumbles, "Danko, he was in my face the second I hit the ground." --Milbury 10:19, 14 February 2009 (EST)

Danko has abilities

It would be so cool if he had an ability. He seems to be like Arthur by thinking or believing he know what to do better than anybody else. He might hate his power or the fact that he has 1 thus hating all evolved humans.

Maybe his power is Threat Adaptation: the ability to adjust to any threat as long as it is known. Like telepathy attack => mental blockers; falling from a building -> learning to fly. Imagine a fight with past Peter. Peter attacks, Danko adapts, Peter absorbs adaptation, Danko adapts to the adaptation :D. Discipol

  • Surely that would make an endless loop of adaptations? Plus Peter has all his abilities if he regains them :]
  • If the writers did give him an ability, I could only see it as being something like Lukas Bahn's ability to detect evolved humans and their powers. --Piemanmoo 16:48, 15 February 2009 (EST)
    • I dunno, that might just be too perfect. Besides, he would have already known that Nathan was an EH. And that Hiro/Maya weren't. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 19:37, 15 February 2009 (EST)
      • Not necesarily, Nathan's power was forced into him, and he may not have the bit in his body that an evolved human detection ability would pick up on. Conversely, Hiro and Maya may still have that bit, despite the mechanism of Arthur's ability rendering the power inert. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 20:21, 15 February 2009 (EST)
        • As far as we know, there's absolutely no distinguishing synthetic abilities from natural abilities, unless there's side effects, as was the case with elephant man and Mohinder. The eclipse did affect everyone. If Danko had such an ability, he should be able to detect synthetics as well. It's kind of a stretch to say that there's synthetic/natural ability indicators. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 20:25, 15 February 2009 (EST)
          • MAYBE....someone will get the perfect revenge on him by injecting him with the formula, then he'll hate himself, then he'll go thru this transition and love his ability, but later in the series he returns with a formidable power not to be reckon with...sound good?--Anthony Gooch 21:40, 15 February 2009 (EST)
  • I would really like Danko to not have abilities. I obviously love Heroes, but one thing that kinda irks me is that so many people have abilities. I liked Mohinder better without, I liked Peter as much when he had as when he didn't have, and Noah remains one of the strongest and most compelling characters. It makes for terrific drama when you have a single non-powered human (be it Thompson, HRG, or Danko) able to control and overpower those with abilities. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:47, 15 February 2009 (EST)
    • Sorry to bring down the party, but didn't the article on Danko's actor coming to Heroes (I'll never learn to type his name) or the writters themselves already confirmed Danko doesn't have an ability? I was under that impression. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:33, 16 February 2009 (EST)
      • If that's true, then I'm glad, because frankly, I agree with RGS. In addition to all of the things he said... Danko having abilities would be horribly cliched. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 13:37, 16 February 2009 (EST)
  • For my unwanted two cents, I have to agree with Ryan. Danko having abilities would be a massive letdown. Right now he and Bennet are the only formidable characters on the show who are normal baseline humans. Well, Hiro might count as well but I get the feeling he's going to get his powers back soon. --Milbury 19:04, 16 February 2009 (EST)
