Should the examples be kept in only one section since both Villains and Fugitives are in the same season or should they be split in Villains section and Fugitives section? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 13:49, 4 March 2009 (EST)

All the other examples pages group them by Season. So Villians and Fugitives would both be Season Three. Since Season Three is the only season that puppet master appeared in, there's no need for the "Season Three" title, just "Examples" suffices. --Radicell 18:59, 4 March 2009 (EST)

The subcrbe of the lastest example was: ... (Nowhere Man, Part 1), but on realy, this happened on part 3 of the webserie Gabrielense 18:33, 11 May 2009 (EDT)

Season Four examples

Heroes Interactive:Thanksgiving confirms that Sylar used the power of puppet master to hold Peter and Angela in their seats at Peter's apartment. This page needs to be updated with the Season Four examples. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:21, 25 November 2009 (EST)

  • However, it says "Similar" besides given what we know, doesn't telekinesis make more sense? Considering we don't know how Sylar got "Puppet Master" and why wouldn't Telekinesis do something similar? --Dman dustin 09:42, 25 November 2009 (EST)
    • Yeah Ryan, similar doesn't mean he has Doyle's ability, it just means that he has an ability which can act like Doyle's ability, that being telekinesis to control people's movements. For that has ability homology written all over it. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 09:49, 25 November 2009 (EST)
      • I see what you're saying. There's a part of the Heroes Interactive transcript that I didn't transcribe because I actually got the wrong answer at first. When I do the HI messages, I do then an hour or two after the show airs, so I'm not usually watching the show as the messages are popping up. The question just asked about what power Sylar was using, and I thought it was referring to the scene where Sylar was electrocuting himself. I first answered "T", thinking the ability was like Elle's. The response I got--and this, I guess, is the key--was "Nice try, but that's not the ability Sylar's using. He can control the movements of others, locking them into place." Then I put the correct answer, "U", and I got a similar message which is what's transcribed: "Right on! Doyle the Puppetmaster can control the movements of others, locking them into place." Putting the two messages together, I take it that Sylar was using an ability that can lock people into place, which is how HI describes Doyle's ability. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:35, 25 November 2009 (EST)
        • Ummm... These guys really need to measure their words better when they give relevant info like that. First the way they revealed René's name, now this, what's next, is the reason Lyle didn't go to Thanksgiving dinner because the "caught up with school" thing is a pregnant teenage girlfriend? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 11:15, 25 November 2009 (EST)
          • I agree, it wasn't the most elegant way to let us know (though I actually really liked the way René's name was revealed)...but it is what it is, I guess. And in the absence of great sources like the episode commentaries, Beeman's blog, and Behind the Eclipse, I'll take what I can get! :)
    • I have to agree with IE, the question asked which ability was SIMILAR to the one he was using. Telekinesis, as we saw it in An Invisible Thread for example, can be used in a similar manner to puppet master. I would have to say that this in fact proves that Sylar does NOT have puppet master. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 14:08, 25 November 2009 (EST)
      • When they describe the power Sylar is using, they say, "He can control the movements of others, locking them into place." This is the exact same description they use to describe Doyle's ability. However, I've sent out some emails to get clarification. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:20, 25 November 2009 (EST)
        • Adam is very fast! Okay, so I stand corrected. Adam said, "As far as we're concerned, Sylar was using TK. He used the same ability to move the chairs before pinning Peter and Angela there (during the act break)." So still no puppet ability. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:47, 25 November 2009 (EST)
