Move

Can this not go on Eyes (disambig)? That's essentially what it is, IMHO. -- Tristan0709 talk 05:30, 13 May 2009 (EDT)

  • No. This page talks about the abilities that causes an alteration on somebody's eyes and people that has they're eyes alterated. The disambig already links here, so, no need. Mateussf 18:00, 17 May 2009 (EDT)

Examples

Could we make a page only for the examples? There are more than 8, actually, more than 20. Mateussf 21:45, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

  • Maybe we could divide the examples in "users eye alteration", "user closing eyes" and "other people's eye alteration". Mateussf 20:21, 21 May 2009 (EDT)

Adoptive muscle memory?

I fail to see how this is an example of eye alteration. It's merely a reflection of what Monica sees in her eyes. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 22:29, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

Maybe it was only a reflection, but I would keep it. Mateussf 14:51, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
Look at the image. It is not a normal reflection. Her eye is almost completely white. Mateussf 19:55, 21 May 2009 (EDT)

Shape Shifting and Appearance Alteration

Sylar changes his eye colour, and the Appearance Alteration page clearly shows a change in eye colour. But would they fit into this? (Appearance Alteration under Affecting other people's eyes ofc) Advic 21:13, 21 May 2009 (EDT)

Symbol eyes

In this case, was Molly actually using her power, she was being affected by Maury's telepathy or this eye alteration is meaningless, just a way to add a symbol in the show? And Angela's eyes? Mateussf 11:44, 23 May 2009 (EDT)

Mohinder

His eyes glew in that graphic novel, but:
1) we saw that moment in The Butterfly Effect, and neither his eyes nor his face changed
2) so that should be just an artist's doing for a more dramatic effect.
Besides, GNs are secondary canon sources. In an episode, a primary canon source, no such thing occurred. -- Altes 06:27, 30 May 2009 (EDT)

  • Flint's eyes never glowed in the episodes, but he's listed because of the GN, if Mohinder goes, so does him. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 07:40, 30 May 2009 (EDT)
    • Somebody should add a note saying that their eyes glow only in GNs and sometimes (Sparrow's eyes glowed only once). Mateussf 21:14, 18 June 2009 (EDT)

Pyrokinesis

That pic with Flint, I think the blue glow was just a reflection of his fire. -- Altes 07:59, 22 June 2009 (EDT)

      • Judging by the strength of the reflection on his face, I would think not --IronyUTC CH 10:37, 24 June 2009 (EDT)

Ha ha

In Rebellion, part 6, Sparrow's eyes turned red, not orange! What are you gonna do now?))) -- Altes 04:22, 15 July 2009 (EDT)

  • Does it really matter? Red and Orange are pretty similar, it's not like the alternated between blue and red, or some extreme. A flame typically varies between shades of red, orange, and yellow; but isn't significantly different. Looks to me that one artist just used a slightly different shade than the other artist to draw her flame-colored eyes. Maybe his red-crayon was out, so he used orange. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 07/17/2009 10:32 (EST)
    • Nah, they ain't similar... *giggles* -- Altes 12:44, 17 July 2009 (EDT)

      • Here's the close-up of both.
Badower's from (Rebellion, Part 2) is more Orangish, with a more expansive aura. Calero's from (Rebellion, Part 6) is more Pinkish, and doesn't have much of an aura around it.
We've seen coloring inconsistencies before through the GNs as different artists get involved. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 07/17/2009 14:19 (EST)
        • Could you give some examples, please? I'd like to compare them. -- Altes 14:21, 17 July 2009 (EDT)
  • Issac's eyes also changed into different colors. Should we add a note? Mateussf 21:25, 17 July 2009 (EDT)
    • Yeah, you're right, I guess. -- Altes 01:55, 18 July 2009 (EDT)

Telescopic vision

what do you think about it? -- Altes 02:46, 18 July 2009 (EDT)

  • When I originally wrote this article, I had Donna Dunlap listed as an example. User:Intuitive Empath removed it later, saying it was through a scope; not her true eye color....however, a scope wouldn't make the iris and pupil turn completely solid white. It should probably be re-added back noting the color to be white, not green. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 07/18/2009 10:50 (EST)
    • White or green, her eyes do glow. -- Altes 11:01, 18 July 2009 (EDT)
      • I still don't see the glow in this, pretty much everything you see through nightvision gear has a glow of sorts. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 19:39, 19 July 2009 (EDT)
        • So night vision gear makes the pupil and iris disappear? --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 07/19/2009 21:41 (EST)

Bone spike protrusion

Perrin's eye glows, doesn't it? -- Altes 14:53, 19 July 2009 (EDT)

  • I think thats the sunlight.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 14:55, 19 July 2009 (EDT)
    • Nah, that side of Perrin's face is dark, that can't be sunlight. -- Altes 15:09, 19 July 2009 (EDT)

Accelerated probability

I think Santiago's eyes changed to an orange color when he used his ability. Has anyone else seen this?--Catalyst · Talk · HL 14:41, 6 August 2009 (EDT)

Arthur Petrelli

His face was never shown when he used space-time manipulation - however, when he sent Claire back to Angela in Our Father, it seemed like he didn't close his eyes. Thoughts? AltesUTC CH

Dennis

His ability was never revealed, but his eyes did turn black. Should we put him in? AltesUTC CH

  • Did his eyes change? In the two panels where we can really see his eyes, they look the same. Plus, it never looks to me like he uses a power. I don't think you can say that his eyes change any more than you can say that he just has very large irises. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 03:20, 23 August 2009 (EDT)
