* Yes it is obvious that an object travelling at such fast speeds, if colliding with another object, will cause great pressure similar to that of the Flash. But her having accelerated healing would be kind of stupid. --[[User:ACDC1989|ACDC1989]] 11:21, 6 November 2008 (EST)

Enhanced Durability

In my opinion this ability is very much similar to that of Robert Keep's in the deleted scenes of Season 2. Even though we didn't see Michael demonstrate his ability shouldn't there be a page on it nonetheless? Or even a proper name suited for Michael's ability? Becuase it cannot simply be "Enhanced Strength" along if he has another ability.--ACDC1989 08:03, 4 November 2008 (EST)

  • Yes, but what about Knox's case? His ability should really be Enhanced strength through fear absorption or something like that. But that's not too good an ability name, and it goes against the naming conventions. As with this case, the naming conventions would name Michael's ability Enhanced strength and durability. But would we really have that alongside Niki's Enhanced strength? It'd look quite awkward. Durability means ability to endure, and is quite vague, since Sylar just said it once. Personally, I'd stick to just Enhanced strength for now. Radicell 09:14, 4 November 2008 (EST)
    • Also, durability could easily be a side effect of having enhanced strength. What good is being able to lift a truck if your bones all break doing it? Niki/Jessica had the same thing, IMO. Knox is a different story, but seeing as how it appears we get his assignment tracker soon, I'm cool with waiting to see what the "official" word is. GabrielPetrelli 09:42, 4 November 2008 (EST)
  • Thats a rather unfair observation, isn't it? If all those who have enhanced strength had that profound durability then Niki wouldn't have died then. I agree that those who have super strength have slighly durable and hardened skin hence why Knox is able to punch through the German and the steel door without injury but i wouldn't go as far as enchaned. --ACDC1989 07:11, 5 November 2008 (EST)
    • Niki lost her enhanced strength (and inherent durability increase) to the Shanti Virus. Her death still makes sense. GabrielPetrelli 09:17, 5 November 2008 (EST)
  • GabrielPetrelli can you please answer me this? Knox, in the exposed future, states to Future Claire "Unlike you Daphne and I can die." Knox has his ability but yet states that he can die thus confirms that he does not have enchaned durability which too could be expanded to other super strength wielders, apart from Fitzgerald. Also Sylar was punching Knox at the end before going Radioactive. If Knox has enchanced durability he would not have been hurt as he was also he wouldn't have died from Sylar's radioactive attack. And you can take that to the bank.--ACDC1989 13:08, 5 November 2008 (EST)
    • Enhanced durability does not imply invincibility. It just means more durable than an average human. I'd use the term "increased durability" instead, actually. Also, Knox's Enhanced strength has a condition to be met in order to use it, unlike Niki. Also, we know even Claire can die if decapitated. Some characters exaggerate a little. GabrielPetrelli 13:47, 5 November 2008 (EST)
      • This is a lot like Super speed. There was an Q&A (with writers or producers, i forget) where they said that Daphne had some kind of inherent increased durability/senses to be able to withstand the skeletal/muscular stress incurred by running so fast. Not enough of an increase to be called another ability, but just a side-effect. GabrielPetrelli 13:54, 5 November 2008 (EST)
