Release Date?

Is there any pattern to the release dates for the Graphic Novels? Do we have a page on this wiki that lists the release dates?--AverageMan 13:45, 8 January 2007 (EST)

  • Release dates for graphic novels? No, not really. I thought they would be on each page like the Episodes. Let me put something in the Infobox template to allow a "release date" variable. --Orne 14:48, 8 January 2007 (EST)
    • Wikipedia has the following table. We could incorporate those dates into our templates. --Orne 15:00, 8 January 2007 (EST)
      • A "Release Date" variable is a great idea". They kind of follow a pattern that they're usually released after an episode airs. The pattern was thrown off a bit during the hiatus, but they've still come out every Monday night/Tuesday morning (I think around 3 am). - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:07, 8 January 2007 (EST)
        • Wow, I can't believe a used Wikipedia's Heroes information as a source! :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:18, 8 January 2007 (EST)

Easter Egg: SOMA

I was just reading about this odd easter egg that's been found in the graphic novels called "SOMA". Has anyone else mentioned this? As of yet, no one seems to know what it means, but it's clearly something we should be watching for... Aftermath Control Wireless 2--Yoshie 09:45, 9 January 2007 (EST)

  • According to what I've been reading, it's an easter egg related to the artist, Micah Gunnell. He's not only inserted it into all of the issues of "Heroes" that he's been commissioned to draw, but also every issue of "Shrugged". Curious! Also curiously, he shares his name with one of the cast. :)--Yoshie 09:58, 9 January 2007 (EST)
    • Here you go: Soma --Orne 10:23, 9 January 2007 (EST)

Next Four GNs

POSSIBLE SPOILER: I don't have an original source, but Jason Badower posted on his blog that "the next four comics are by the same artist and feature one character." Don't know more than that -- my guess is Candace. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:25, 1 March 2007 (EST)

How many

Do we know how many issues will there be ? I'm printing every issue and I want to make a "book" of them. But I need to know how much issue there will be until "season two GN"! Thanks. -- FrenchFlo (talk)        13:48, 30 May 2007 (EDT)

  • Wish I knew. They've been pretty good about doing one GN per week, even during the breaks. I think there was one or two weeks during the first hiatus that they missed, but they've have a pretty good track record since then. Hopefully we'll have one per week, if we're lucky! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:53, 30 May 2007 (EDT)
    • So far they've only missed 1 week back in December.Citizen

Delineate S1/S2?

If NBC continues to release GNs in this fashion, this portal might soon get messy and unwieldy. Are there any thoughts of sorting these out into Season 1, Summer 1, Season 2 etc.? --SacValleyDweller 20:42, 15 September 2007 (EDT)

  • The graphic novels don't really fall into seasons so it wouldn't make as much sense to organize them by what season (or even between which seasons) the novel is released. I think the way it's done now will work nicely for quite some time. We have other portals much larger than this. If it did get too large we could just increase the number of graphic novels represented by each section and that would trim it down. (Admin 20:52, 15 September 2007 (EDT))
    • The Graphic Novel Collection that is coming out is including issues 1-34. I have no idea how they're classifying the in-between issues, 35-51. I think it's best, in the case of the graphic novels, to put them in one place as they are now. If somebody is interested in which season a particular issue "belongs", the release dates are all listed on the GN pages themselves. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:06, 16 September 2007 (EDT)

Graphic Novel Transcripts??

I know that they have transcribed all Season 1 and 2 epis, and the SwordSaint films....does anyone know of a website that has transcripts of the GNs? It would be great to have them in text format, to be able to do word/phrase searching. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 05/22/2008 12:36 (EST)
