"Spider mimicry" describes what Caleb can do. |
ok this is really taking the biscuit
it's begining to make me think that Mohinder's ability wasn't really that wrong and was just turning him into a bug. Then we've seen David's ability which seemed to turn him into a wolf like creature. Now a spider. What will they think of next. I know, how about "paint mimicry" or "elephant mimicry"!!! ha lol --mc_hammark 07:38, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

I suggest Image:Spider.jpg for the main image. take out sylar and his electrokinesis. --mc_hammark 07:41, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

Odd Power
I guess I don't feel that this power seems "Heroes-ish". I could understand if he was just granted some of the abilities of a spider, but actually growing legs...it just seemed TOO fantastical even for this show. It's not that I don't like this power (personally I think it's sweet!) but it just doesn't seem to fit into this world. What are you're ideas? -Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs | 09:02, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Yeah, it's more of a "Beast" (from the X-men) type ability. I've never really been a fan of the physically changing ones like this and Plant manipulation. I mean, don't get me wrong, I would love plant manipulation, the aspects of it are amazing, but the fact that you take on the appearance of a plant-man; it kinda takes away the idea that Tracy asked Noah in Strange Attractors, could evolved humans not walk freely down the street. --mc_hammark 09:06, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Exactly! Both abilities (Spider mimicry and Plant manipulation) are abilities I would LOVE to have, but they just feel...wrong in this world. They're just don't fit with the other abilities. -Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs | 09:13, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- They're X-men abilities. Like "toad" from x-men. Who I believe was portrayed by Ray Park. --mc_hammark 09:14, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Haha, really? -Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs | 09:15, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- yup! --mc_hammark 09:17, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Very odd power. Does not make sense to me for the Heroes world.--Ratclaws 09:26, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

- Thoroughly disappointed with this ability.--Riddler 20:01, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- I wonder what's next? Gargoyle mimicry, the ability to protrude wings and claws from one's body and become stone? Or just having angel wings, like that guy from X-Men? AltesUTC CH
- Probably. -Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs | 14:47, 29 October 2009 (EDT)
- More like angel statue mimicry from doctor who, the ability to that turns you to stone whenever someone looks at you to stop you getting hurt.--Fr0z3nB0nes 04:05, 2 November 2009 (EST)

This power has been laid to rest
- ...to bad rubbish? Finally. I always hated this power. Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs 04:21, 27 November 2009 (EST)
- "I always hated this power." he said in a manner, as though the ability had been around since Genesis. lol --mc_hammark 11:11, 27 November 2009 (EST)
- Always doesn't have to be a long time. :P Vampirate68 | Talk | Contribs 15:20, 27 November 2009 (EST)
- Shhh, let's pretend this power never existed.--Referos 17:59, 27 November 2009 (EST)

Question
Should it be noted that this ability is the only thus far to have any physical animal characteristics? --OutbackZack 19:16, 20 January 2010 (EST)
- But it's not. Mohinder's mutation gave him buggy characteristics. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 20:55, 20 January 2010 (EST)
- Yeah, but not a direct physical appearance of one. I know he was mutated in a possible future, but it's speculation to say he looked like a bug when we didn't see him clearly. --OutbackZack 20:59, 20 January 2010 (EST)
- The webby material he used to cocoon victims and crawl walls would fall into the category of an animal characteristic. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 21:00, 20 January 2010 (EST)
- Oh, let me clarify then, taking on the physical animal appearance. --OutbackZack 21:06, 20 January 2010 (EST)
- He was also growing scales by the end of it. :P --Ricard Desi (t,c) 21:09, 20 January 2010 (EST)
