One Giant Leap

Matt comes home to Janice after a long day at the FBI Headquarters. They argue, and Matt storms out of the house to go to a Los Angeles bar.


After an ordeal at a secret medical facility, Matt wakes up on the couch. Trying to plan the perfect date for his wife, Matt leaves for a convenience store.

Nothing to Hide

Matt is ready to tell his wife about his powers, but overhears his wife think that she's been found out about something. Matt grows agitated and leaves.

Seven Minutes to Midnight

At home, Janice looks through a family photo album. When Matt arrives, he confronts her about her affair with Tom McHenry.

Six Months Ago

Janice comforts Matt about failing the detective test.


Matt returns home to find a suitcase on the table. Janice got it out of the closet, but hasn't packed it. Matt says they need to be completely honest with each other in order to work on their marriage. He confesses that he can hear what other people are thinking.

The Fix

On the patio, Matt and Janice discuss Matt's abduction. Later, their bathroom sink springs a leak. As Matt fixes it, Janice breaks some exciting news to her husband -- she is pregnant.


Matt and Janice talk about Matt’s new job.


Matt opens his sock drawer and pulls out the diamonds, but puts them away when Janice comes in. She finds one of the diamonds on a ring, and Matt tells her it’s a gift. She later confronts him when she discovers the ring is worth $40,000, but they are interrupted when Ted calls.
