Theory Citations Notes
Angela and Adam are Nathan's true parents. None. Nathan could easily be thirty (he, or Sylar posing as him, was President in Five Years Gone and without laws changing one must be thirty-five to become President).

- Arthur bears a strong family resemblance to Nathan, strongly implying a close biological relationship between the two.

Angela Petrelli is not good. None. + In Truth & Consequences, Victoria tells Peter, "Adam's a murderer, and since you're helping him, you're one too... Just like your parents."

+ Angela contributed to Linderman's plan.

- Angela could be aiding Linderman for healing the damage of Arthur's telepathy over the years of marriage.
- Angela is a precognitive, she knew that the explosion was unavoidable, and the explosion did happen.

This is a very ambiguous theory - many characters can be considered morally gray, and it can be argued that Angela has traits of good and evil.

+ On the other hand, Angela has done deeds up to and including plotting mass murder and personally feeding people to Sylar. She is, at best, horribly ruthless with 'good' intentions.
- By feeding Bridget to Sylar she gave him the ability to see the past of an object or person by touching them. When Sylar saved Claire from the vortex in Angels and Monsters he apparently felt her pain. This could be rewardable to Angela for giving him the ability and therefore slowly transforming him into a human rather than a monster.
+ Furthermore, when Future Gabriel moves into the Bennet residence, he will undoubtedly use his clairsentience on Claire's former residence and learn of the pain and destruction he had caused within the Bennet family.
- Angela showed remorse while Bridget was being killed.
Angela Petrelli is trying to fulfill the conditions of her prophetic dream. In her dream, Sylar appears to be defending her against Tracy, Maury, Adam, and Knox. Awake, she attempts to recruit Sylar after he is captured. (The Butterfly Effect) + Sylar is one of the few characters with the power to combat several other evolved humans simultaneously.
The agents of the Company do not realize that Angela has a power. None. + When Noah returns to help find the Level 5 escapees, he states that he needs a partner, saying "You know how it works: One of us, one of them." Angela responds with "I have the perfect one of them in mind."
- She was speaking of field agents in general. HRG is "one of us" (the non-powered agents), Sylar is "one of them" (evolved human agents).

Angela is one of the company's founders and presumably keeps a low profile.
Angela's non-combative power would never be needed on the field.

Angela Petrelli is Adam Monroe's eleventh wife. None. + Adam claimed that his latest wife would return to rescue him. While she didn't directly do it, Angela sent Hiro and Ando to retrieve Adam from his grave.
- But he was then killed as a result.
Angela Petrelli is Matt Parkman's birth mother. None. + Matt's mother is only mentioned in passing, when Matt accuses Maury of abandoning them, but never named.

+ Maury would have no reason to stay with the woman who is not the mother of his son.
+ There is a significant age gap between Nathan and his brother Peter.
+ There is a passing resemblance between Matt, Nathan, and Peter.
- The timeline of events according to graphic novel, War Buddies places Arthur and Linderman in Vietnam at the time of Matt's birth, before the Group of Twelve is formed and presumably, Maury and Angela had yet to meet.
+ Arthur's absence at this time allows Angela to carry a child to term leaving Arthur none the wiser.
+ Angela knows how to fight Matt's telepathic probing in Cautionary Tales. This means she likely has fought off another telepath, like Maury.

- Angela has had much experience from Arthur's own probing.
Angela is mother of Isaac Mendez. None. Isaac's mother is unknown, they both share a similar power (precognition), they both live in New York, Carlos Mendez was one of the Company's founders. Peter hated Isaac which would be a connection.

- The Petrelli family would have noticed Angela being pregnant, since Isaac was younger than Nathan.

Angela wants to get the formula from Rachel Mills so it may be given to Hiro. None. + It seems strange that the writers would remove the powers of one of the most popular characters without a way to restore them.
- The writers want to leave time travel out of the show for a while as they feel as though is is becoming a crutch. Giving Hiro his powers back won't happen any time soon.
Hiro isn't as popular as he was when the show began; some think that Hiro has become jaded.

+ The Company and Pinehearst have taken heavy losses and Angela, being head of the Company, may want more agents with abilities back so she may need the formula to quicken the pace, rather than wait years to discover and train new agents.

Angela is gathering people for an upcoming confrontation. "And I can see the upcoming battle." (The Recruit, Part 5) + Angela has contacted Leona after a long time, she might need her help.
- Or she wanted to let her know she has her daughter.

+ She tested Rachel to see if she could be trusted.

Angela has more than one ability. None. + She seems to be able to manipulate people abnormally well.
- You don't need super powers to be manipulative.

+ She has been present when two people have been forced to remember past events, Peter and Rachel Mills both remembered large parts of important information in her presence.

- The events that Rachel remembered happened only a few hours, maybe a day earlier. It would not be hard for her to remember them by herself.
- Peter read Angela's mind in order to remember who she was.
+ The power of persuasion has been mentioned in above theories. When Arthur confronts Angela in her mental prison, shes says "Let me go Arthur, you still love me..." and all of a sudden he listens to her, knowing she would be a problem in his plan since she sees the future.
- And it was also mentioned that the very thing that made people think Angela had persuasion was a improvisation of the actress in a scene, no hidden power.
Arthur does not have the power of persuasion apparently and there for can succomb to someone else using it.
- Arthur was able to use the Haitian's ability because Peter was exposed to it, and he stole Peter's powers, as mentioned in BTE interviews. Peter was exposed to Eden's ability when he visited Mohinder.
+ Maybe Angela's power is persuasion and she persuaded her self one day to see into the future.
- Just no, the actress improv is what made fans speculate on persuasion, it's not a power she has.
+ How about just yes? Then if she was improving what was Arthur doing? Improving to obey his enemy of a wife who he came to just kill and suddenly listens to her...
- Arthur is devious, people being confused by his actions and not knowing what he's planing is a plus for him. It also might give him more opportunities to manipulate her once she's out of the coma.
Angela does not have an ability. None. + None of her visions so far have happened the way she seen it.
- Not all of Isaac's paintings happened the way he painted either.
+ Some did though. And the rest were very similar. Angela's dreams are completely different.
- So Micah Sanders was in a burning building was he.

He was in the Explosion future, he even died in it.
+ Her visions have included people who had died before the event took place showing that it was wrong.

- It's possible her visions aren't literal, that they should be interpreted.

+ She could just be having bad dreams and delusions of grandeur.
- Not all of her dreams are shown, she had dreams about Future Peter.

+ We only have her word for this. If she was suffering from delusions of grandeur, she may have said this even though it didn't happen.
- She knew it was future Peter.

- Peter was able to mimic it.
