He would like to meet:
|Unfortunately it's hard to find really cool people in this town. So I've had to limit who I let into my social circle. I'm very selective. That was sarcastic too... I'm friends with this one girl. We go way back. She's probably the coolest person you could ever know.|

Hey Zach, do you still have that video camera? I think I remember you had one for that class project you did in History Class last Spring? Let me know, thanks.
I -- San Diego
Zach posts his first blog entitled San Diego:
Friday, August 4, 2006; 1:14 p.m.
Current mood: exhausted
I know the Summer is supposed to be for lying by the pool and taking it easy, but the last few weeks have been crazy. I had the chance to go to Comic Con in San Diego which was a blast. There were a bunch of people dressed up in crazy costumes and sneak previews for some new movies and tv shows, as well as all my favorite comic book writers and artists of course. Overall San Diego is a cool city, everyone seems nice and minds their own business, it's a little different than Odessa, let me tell you.
Anyway, the plan now is to take it easy and rest up before school starts. Maybe just shoot some stuff with my camera and see where the wind takes me.
Claire writes the second comment on Zach's page:
Tuesday, August 29, 2006; 1:25 p.m.
Hey, do you still have that video camera you used for that biology experiement last spring? I was wondering if I could borrow it?
Claire writes the third comment on Zach's page:
Tuesday, September 5, 2006; 5:20 p.m.
Yeah, I'd like to borrow it after school, but maybe if you are free you could help me use it because I'm not sure I know how.
II -- Lost a Mini DV tape
Zach posts his second blog:

Lost a Mini DV tape
Current mood: worried
Okay, so I'm totally trying not to go insane right now (and failing miserably) :(. I lost a mini DV tape full of special effects stuff that I've been working on for a class project. Ms. Rogers is totally going to freak if I don't turn it on time.
I don't know what happened, I know I put it in my backpack, and then the next time I looked it was just GONE. It's got some really important stuff on there so if anyone can help, please please please let me know!
It may be at school, the last time I remember having it was at the train tracks when that train derailed the other day, so it could be there too. If anyone has any information there'll be no questions asked, I promise. I just need it back, BAD!
Release date: 24 May, 2005
Zach writes the fourth comment on Zach's page:
Wednesday, September 27, 2006; 7:53 p.m.
Hey! Have you been avoiding me? You looked nervous all day today. Hope everything is cool and your not getting freaked out about what happened with the railroad thing and um...before that. Maybe I could use your camera again next week?
III -- Bears Game
Zach posts his third blog:
Friday, October 06, 2006; 1:11 p.m.
Current mood: complacent
The Union Wells Wildcats (my "lovely" school) take on the Bears this week. It's an away game but everyone is going because it's a huge rivalry and all that. I can't say I'm a huge football fan or anything but I guess I'll go, mostly to support Claire.
Our football team is practically worshiped which is fine if you go for that sort of thing, but it just sucks because a lot of the players let it go to their head and think they're invincible or something. Brody Mitchum, the quarterback, walks around like he owns the place. I honestly don't know why Claire gives him the time of day. From what I've seen and heard, he's a complete jerk. But enough bitching, I still gotta find that tape!

Brody & Claire
Current mood: annoyed
So we won the game, once again thanks to the heroics of Brody Mitchum. While that crowd totally isn't my thing (ie. i'm a constant target for cheerleader hazing pranks), I do have to admit it that I wouldn't mind if I was there, even if just to see a certain someone...
Girls like Brody because he's the quarterback, duh! But even girls that aren't into football are still into him, probably just because he's quintessential cool. He even has bad-ass car, people sure would like him less if something happened to that car... hmmm now i'm feeling mischievous...

V -- Just another day in dullsville
Zach posts his fifth blog:

Just another day in dullsville
I heard Brody's car got smashed up, hit a wall, that's about all I know since I'm not exactly on the school's social must-call list. I feel bad for saying what I did about his car, I hope he's okay.
I'm listening to this awesome song called "I don't like Mondays" by Tori Amos. It's actually a cover of a Boomtown Rats song from a while ago. I like that version better, but can't find it right now... I think there must be some kind of black-hole-object-sucking vortex forming in my room. Anyone else have that problem or is it just me?

VI -- Blogs are where the truth goes
Zach posts his sixth blog:

Blogs are where the truth goes
Current mood: cheerful
Blogs are supposed to be where people tell the truth about themselves, without caring what people think... but I bet most of us just put what we want people to see. So, in the interest of being different, here goes with some real truth... my big secret admission is....... I'm super excited that I now have over 1000 friends!
I know I'm not supposed to care about that sort of thing, but sometimes I can't help it. Anyway, thanks to all my friends out there, especially those of you who post comments and messages, I do try to read them all. In quick summary: Yes the Dresden Dolls rock. Penny-Arcade is great. Odessa has its moments, I don't see too many film crews here though, I think they probably do that stuff in or near Los Angeles.
Thanks for being great friends, be sure and think about me Monday night.(don't forget!).

In the sunshine of your...
Current mood: restless
Very little is new in my world, people are still freaked out about Brody. I heard he couldn't even remember what his name was. That just sounds insane to me... though I suppose stranger things... I guess he's going to be back at school for Homecoming.
In a quick response to y'all:
Things is good [sic]. Thanks Kara, little Gabe looked great as a Moogle. I'm still not interested in Claire, trust me. And Happy (belated) Halloween to everyone! Oh, and err, thanks for the compliments... we're all beautiful people...

VIII -- Come Home
Monday, November 20, 2006; 5:39 p.m.
Current mood: blah
First of all, sorry I didn't get the chance to blog last week. The faculty got wise to the wireless router in the science lab which is totally lame because I used to blog during Ms. Gomez's class. *snore*
Anyway, homecoming is this week. Color me excited. We invite a really weak team over for us to whoop on. I feel bad for what happened to Brody and everything but in the grand scheme of things it is pretty funny that we might actually lose our homecoming game. I do hope that we win though. So... Go Wildcats!
I'll probably go to the dance, just because these things always provide the opportunity for amusing running commentary. Oh, and also, everyone remember to get out and vote for homecoming queen. I think we could really make an impact on the vote this year and mess with their perfect little system. Rock the vote!
See you at the game, Zach.

IX -- Rumors
Monday, December 4, 2006; 2:06 p.m.
Current mood: shocked
So I've now gotten three text messages, a handful of emails and myspace messages and I'm actually starting to believe it... Jackie was killed at the homecoming game last night. There are lots of rumors floating around, including one that says it was the same person that killed that Burnt Toast Waitress a couple days ago.
One thing is for sure, this is going to change this town. They'll probably close school for a while to figure out what's going on, but has anyone actually thought about the larger implications, there might be a serial killer hanging out in Odessa...
A few shout-outs and question answers:
My favorite Dresden Dolls song is Delilah
Yes, I found the tape... under my bed, go figure.
Mikael, you rock.
Kevin, nice painting.
Lastly, check out Child's Play and buy a gift for kids in Children's hospitals. It's a simple and great charity and as little as five bucks can make a difference. Just choose a hospital and then pick something off an Amazon wish list.

Seriously Freaking Out
Current mood: confused
Okay, so apparently the Cheerleaders have decided to play some kind of prank on me and have managed to get my myspace password. My account seems to have been all messed with, stuff missing, stuff added. It wouldn't be so obvious if Claire wasn't suddenly in my top friends and she didn't make me meet her on the field and talk like she was on crystal meth. Anyway, I'm glad the girls still have time to mess with people even though one of their friends was just murdered. Really classy.
A lot of people seem to be in on this prank too with comments and stuff, I'm glad you all think this is funny. I guess everyone deals with tragedy in different ways.
There are some mentions about finding a tape and some comments about Claire. To be honest it's all a bit bizarre and has some semblance of familiarity, definitely weirding me out.
I'm off to get a bite at the burnt toast diner, maybe someone'll be there to desecrate the memorial to the waitress that died. Nothing would surprise me in this town anymore.
Last but not least, do a good deed and help out www.childsplaycharity.org by buying a toy for a children's hospital in your area. Even the smallest gift can make a big difference and it only takes a few minutes to pick something out on an Amazon wish list.
