Story

19th November 1964

There have been a recent string of murders in the city. The victims were burned to death. It seemed like something unnatural was going on. We decided to send Charles down to the police station to see what he could find out about the murders. We figured with his ability he wouldn’t have any trouble finding out what we needed to know. Charles returned hours later with the information and files we needed.

“Ok guys I got what we need.” – Charles

“Excellent, good job Charles.” – Harry

“Thanks."– Charles

“Ok so we’re looking for any information that could point to his whereabouts or regular haunts.” – Harry

“What are we going to do if we find him?” – Bobby

“That’s a good question, what are we going to do?” – Kaito

“I’m not to sure, Angela, have you seen how it all plays out?” – Harry

“I can’t say I have, but like I said, my dreams are confusing, we shouldn’t rely on them to much” – Angela

“Angela’s right, we need to start making our own destiny.” – Arthur

“Then let’s get to it.” – Harry

The group sat shifting though the files all day. The sun began to set as they continued to study the files. Suddenly, Daniel stumbled across the report of the latest victim, could this reveal the information the group had been looking for.

“Hey guys I found a report from the latest victim, she was killed two days ago, and her name was Carol Johnson.” – Daniel

“How does is say she was killed?” – Susan

"She was exposed to extreme heat, and died as a result.” – Daniel

“Makes you wonder what goes through a persons head to make them do something like this” – Harry

It was a cold and windy night. Carol was on her way home from work when she heard footsteps behind her. As the footsteps became louder her pace quickened. She dare not turn and look behind her out of fear. Her quick pace turned into a sprint as she ran around the corner into an alleyway. It was a dead end; she turned to face her tormentor.

“Leave me alone!” – Carol

“Hahahaha!” - Clive

“What do you want!?” – Carol

“What do I want? I want you to scream!” – Clive

The man raised his hands and flames began firing out. Within seconds Carol was on the floor writhing in pain.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” – Carol

“You will burn in the fires of your sins!” – Clive

As the screams died away, the man lowered his hands, turned his back, and walked away.
