Core characters
The following characters I believe to be the core characters in Heroes. The main reason is that they have been in the show since the beginning. Other reasoning, follows each entry
Peter Petrelli
- Volume One -- Was the bomb, to his own dismay
- Volume Two -- Was an unknowing accomplice in Adam's plot to release Strain 138, but, fortunately, wound up destroying it.
- Volume Three -- Was instrumental in destroying the formula
Nathan Petrelli
- Volume One -- Flew the Peter to where he would do no damage
- Volume Two -- Helped persuade Peter that Adam was misleading him
- Volume Three -- Wanted to promote the use of the formula
Mohinder Suresh
- Volume One -- His quest to continue his father's research on abilites and understand them and discover what killed his sister was another focal point of the volume.
- Volume Two -- His thirst for knowledge about the Shanti virus was one of the focal points of the volume
- Volume Three -- His resumed quest for knowledge about abilities lead to research on artificialy induced ones, and some self-inflicted andguish along the way.
