Welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
- If you're not too familiar with editing Wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
- If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
- Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the Summary field before you save your changes.
- You can set the Wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add ~~~~ or click the signature button.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Appearances on episode pages
Just FYI re: this edit--it's no longer necessary to include the hidden span on the episode page (and in fact, doing so causes the section to appear twice in the TOC). Now that the section edit bug has been fixed, the template produces the section heading; we don't have to fake it anymore.--Hardvice (talk) 13:24, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
Theories for Dummies
- I got a kick out of your Theories for Dummies section on your user page. :) (Admin 10:41, 28 October 2007 (EDT))
Renaming articles
- Just a note that anytime you need to rename an article you should use the "move" option at the top rather than copying and pasting from one article to another. By using the move button it preserves the edit history of the original article. Thanks! :) (Admin 10:24, 30 October 2007 (EDT))
Signature
Hey, awesome signature with the graphics. If you want to have it work a bit quicker without the links, you can make a page like {{User:Chrisyu357/sig}} with the code, and another subpage like {{User:Chrisyu357/autosig}} that just uses the first template. Then, in your preferences, change your nickname to the autosig template (check raw signatures), so that when you use --~~~~ or the signature button, it'll insert the template with all the code. It's pretty useful. Hope that helps.--Bob (talk) 05:03, 31 October 2007 (EDT)
Articles
Good work on getting rid of all those red links :) However, instead of just copy-and pasting you might want to write out an actual summary. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 10:42, 7 November 2007 (EST)
Jason's Elle
It's not exactly Elle, but Jason Badower has a nice image of Kristen Bell you might be interested in: Check it out. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:05, 13 December 2007 (EST)
- And while we're on the subject, Ryan Odagawa has a version of Claire, Noah, and Hiro: see here and here. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:10, 13 December 2007 (EST)
- It'd also be really cool if you included Tim Sale's versions of the characters... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:13, 13 December 2007 (EST)
- Thanks! I think it's done now - it includes all the artist related to Heroes except those working on the trading cards (which will be one hell of a project)
- Yeah, it's pretty...amazing. It's fun to follow the page down and see the more prolific artists (Jason Badower, Staz Johnson, Ryan Odagawa, Micah Gunnell). It's also fun to look across and see all the different versions of Claire, Sylar, Noah, etc. What a great page! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:40, 14 December 2007 (EST)
conxns table
Is your connections table on any sort of burner for you? Might we finish it together if yes? Might I take it if no?--SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:00, 29 December 2007 (EST)
Sig
Yeah, I know, I'm working on it :] thanks ! (FrenchFlo)
Alligator?
- When and by whom was Peter called "alligator?" I don't remember that. (Admin 17:37, 3 May 2008 (EDT))
- In Four Months Ago..., Elle says to Peter, "Later, alligator". The expression "Later alligator" is a common cutesy expression, and not a nickname for the person being addressed. It would be like me saying to Chris, "See ya, dude!" That doesn't mean "dude" is a Chris's nickname. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:54, 3 May 2008 (EDT)
D.L.'s fire station
Isn't it Fire Station 5, not 54 as you're listing it?--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:33, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
- It's from a promo picture of D.L., but I'm not sure if that scene was shown in the actual episode. Chrisyu357 04:23, 11 May 2008 (EDT)
New photos
Thanks for uploading those new photos of the characters. Can you also mark the old ones with an afd? Thanks again.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:59, 15 July 2008 (EDT)
Hey Thanks
Thanks a load, I don't have a IMDb acount so I do not know how to contact people though there lol. I know this is a lot to ask, but you couldn't get the details for Jim Martin the co-writer could you? And Rebeka Montoya who will be in future ones, sorry for spoiling it if I did. Thanks a lot for his details though, lets just hope he says yes! --Skywalkerrbf 10:13, 18 July 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks enyway! do you have a count on IMDb?--Skywalkerrbf 11:00, 18 July 2008 (EDT)
