* Noah and Clair are making the same mistakes as they did in Season One: Noah is hiding what he knows about the future and Claire refuses to listen to her father so she can go off and "be herself". Noah should have showed Claire the 8/8 painting already and said, "See? That's why I don't want you do date; you'll be the death of me!" It seems like the writers are too comfortable with the dynamic between these two characters that served the plot well in Season One, but appears to not make much sense at this point.

** With regards to the Noah showing the paintings, that would reveal his intentions to bring down the Company, which I don't think his family knows about. --Bob (Talk) 12:14, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
*** Well, yes and that's my point. Noah still hasn't learned the lesson from Season One: if you keep secrets from other people, other people will keep secrets from you ... and then people die. While I liked that story line in Season One, unless the writers have something very creative up their sleeves, I'm not going to enjoy the same story being told in Season Two. I have hope and I'm still watching. I'm just curmudgeonly. -- FissionChips 12:32, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
* Maya and Alejandro's story for the first three episodes was, "We're still running." That got old, so I'm happy to see that they've gotten a car and made contact with a villain.

* Peter-in-Ireland just seems random. I imagine all will be made clear, but it's still pretty random.

*** I'm less irked by Peter's story. It's just random. My airing of it was more because my wife dislikes the whole Caitlin thing so much, which is odd for a woman who only gets into stories that have romance. -- FissionChips 12:32, 16 October 2007 (EDT)

Season Two Irks

  • Noah and Clair are making the same mistakes as they did in Season One: Noah is hiding what he knows about the future and Claire refuses to listen to her father so she can go off and "be herself". Noah should have showed Claire the 8/8 painting already and said, "See? That's why I don't want you do date; you'll be the death of me!" It seems like the writers are too comfortable with the dynamic between these two characters that served the plot well in Season One, but appears to not make much sense at this point.
    • With regards to the Noah showing the paintings, that would reveal his intentions to bring down the Company, which I don't think his family knows about. --Bob (Talk) 12:14, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
      • Well, yes and that's my point. Noah still hasn't learned the lesson from Season One: if you keep secrets from other people, other people will keep secrets from you ... and then people die.
