List of character appearances by graphic novel

The namespace is "Graphic Novel" not "Graphic novel". -Lөvөl 11:57, 15 July 2008 (EDT)

Thanx - noted :) Pierre 12:01, 15 July 2008 (EDT)

I don't remember why we have had the titles as one word, but if there are spaces it makes it a lot easier to include on a page with {{Appearances{{subst:PAGENAME}}}}, we might want to change them. Discuss? -Lөvөl 12:54, 15 July 2008 (EDT)

  • That's a good idea. (Admin 13:06, 15 July 2008 (EDT))

Episode Tally Section

It looks very good. Good job. --Pinkkeith 15:45, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Thanx - Not that big effort :) Pierre 17:05, 5 August 2008 (EDT)

Would you mind?

Having a look at my idea on the front page talk page. Its been there a day now with no response. Thanks. --Skywalkerrbf 12:55, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

Thanks

I put a lot of time into the interviews, but I really enjoy doing them so I don't mind. --Skywalkerrbf 14:33, 20 August 2008 (EDT)

Evolutions versus Webcomics

Now that you've moved Berk and Andre to the GN portal, Brian definitely should be. Would he fall under the list of Evs-related characters? Therequiembellishere 17:50, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

  • Brian has more appearances and importance in Evolutions versus the one GN. I'm not really sure about Berk and Andre yet, but I would say leave Brian where he is.--Bob (talk) 17:53, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
    • Agree. It's really just a judgment call. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:11, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
      • Also agree - I can' really see Brian (or Walter or Kelly) as anything else but Evolutions characters. Regarding Donahue and Perez; they have only appeared by "photo" and short description in Evolutions, with the GN being their only narrative appearance, they rather belong in the GN character group IMO. Pierre 19:03, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
        • But hey have both had conversations via Evs' blog. Much more than one line each in the GN. I think they should be moved back then. Therequiembellishere 21:37, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

You deleted my comment

on the main page, any reason?--Skywalkerrbf 16:55, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

Hm.. No? Must have been a mistake. Where? sorry about it anyhow :( Pierre 17:14, 15 September 2008 (EDT)
On the main page talk, I'm pretty sure you did.--Skywalkerrbf 17:15, 15 September 2008 (EDT)
If that's the case, then I'm truly sorry about it. Definitely a mistake. Which comment are you referring to? Pierre 17:17, 15 September 2008 (EDT)
It happens by mistake sometimes either when two people edit the article around the same time or sometimes purely by accident. No worries, everything is always recoverable through the page history. :) (Admin 17:22, 15 September 2008 (EDT))
Yer, i was just checking it was. :) its no problem.--Skywalkerrbf 17:28, 15 September 2008 (EDT)
Okay - good! Pierre 17:30, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

Good Work

On cleaning up after me re-naming the dark future page, the only other thing that needs doing now is the character pages changing to whatever future they are from.--Skywalkerrbf 14:41, 2 October 2008 (EDT)

Yeah - have there been consensus on such renaming yet? Pierre 14:42, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
I am pretty sure everone is ok with it. I've changed Peter Petrelli and no1 seems to be complaining. its a lot better than foing it by numbers.--Skywalkerrbf 14:48, 2 October 2008 (EDT)
OK then :) Pierre 14:49, 2 October 2008 (EDT)

English as a second language

For somebody whose first language is not English, you sure know your way around the language! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:19, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

Hey; I'm Swedish. Lonely Planet claims it's just as easy getting around on English here as in Canada ;) ---Pierre 21:20, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

Character pages

Thanks for all your work on the character pages... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:51, 24 October 2008 (EDT)

No problem - it hasn't been any secret that I wasn't satisfied with the previous model, so I'm more than happy to participating in an improved one :) I think I've done as much as I'm capable of now, though. --Pierre 21:54, 24 October 2008 (EDT)

Patroller

Hey, Pierre. How would you like to be a patroller here? Take a look at Heroes Wiki:Patrollers and see if it's something you'd like to do. If so, reply back to my talk page. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:20, 22 November 2008 (EST)

  • Confidence is granted when it's earned, and you've certainly proved your ability to edit well. You have the three things that are needed: good English/grammar skills, good Heroes knowledge, and a good understanding of Heroes Wiki policies. Take a look at Heroes Wiki:Patrollers and read some of the tips, etc. Don't forget to add your name to the page. Try patrolling some unpatrolled edits. Let me know if you have any questions. You can also post questions at Heroes Wiki talk:Patrollers, which most patrollers have on their watchlist. Congrats! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:58, 26 November 2008 (EST)

Moving a page

Hey, I saw you nominated Spoiler:Chad Faust to be renamed. I'm not sure if you nominated it for renaming because you thought it had to be discussed first, or because you weren't sure how to move a page. It doesn't need to be discussed--if he's appeared or been credited, the page can be moved to the main namespace. To move a page, click the "move" tab on the top of the page (I think it's the fifth one over) and just remove the "Spoiler" from the new name. I'll let you do it so you get the practice. If you have a hard time with it, let me know. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:16, 13 December 2008 (EST)

  • Oh, never mind. I see the problem--it's a duplicate page. I'll let Futurepeter know how to move a page. Sorry! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:18, 13 December 2008 (EST)
edit conflict Thanx :) That I know. However, when the destination page already exist, sysops rights are required to make a move. In this case Chad Faust had been created (as a redirection to Spoiler:Chad Faust) resulting in me not being able to make the move myself. Hence the request :)
adding Well - you got it. ;) --Pierre 19:19, 13 December 2008 (EST)
  • Actually, just as a point of clarification, you can still move a page over another page that exists. It's only when the existing page has been edited that you can't move another page over it, for some reason. So if it's a redirect page that's never been edited, you can do the move without a problem. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:10, 13 December 2008 (EST)
    • Also, there's one other case: if a page gets moved twice, the server doesn't let you move it back to the name it originally had.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:21, 13 December 2008 (EST)
