  • Starrynight, please keep in mind that the Sarmy article is not your page and like any other page here is subject to existing policies and standards and will be edited by anyone, not just members of your group. Please read the disclaimer on every submission here specifically the part that says "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here." (Admin 10:29, 7 August 2007 (EDT))
    • Thank you for your respons. Our provided information was in fact correct and it has been edited (like removing its founders). We don't claim this page as ours but we would like to keep our 'history' as accurate as possible. The Sarmy --Starrynight (talk) 17:20, 7 August 2007 (EDT)

  • I just wanted to give you some background that may help explain the move of Sybrows to a User subpage. Fan creations have always been a little tricky to deal with due to their completely unofficial nature. As a result to keep the main namespace from being flooded with any page that a single user might want to create, what we encourage is that fan creations be created as user subpages initially. Then as the page evolves (no pun intended) it sometimes gets the attention of the rest of the community here and a decision is made whether it belongs in the main namespace or not. So if you want to create any more fan creations, just start them out as something like User:Starrynight/Sybrows and see where it goes from there. :) Hope this helps! (Admin 11:08, 9 August 2007 (EDT))
    • Thanks for making a subpage. Only...Sybrows is now linked to my username :/ It looks like I invented it, though I don't want to take any credit for this. Also when I type Sybrows in the searchbar nothing shows up. I have to mention that Sybrows is very popular and deserves its own page somehow. Isn't there another way. Thanks for the help. Regards --Starrynight (talk) 18:29, 7 August 2007 (EDT)
      • After you do a search, click the checkbox for 'User' namespace and research. The link for Sybrows will then appear. Sorry you're upset, and that you didn't bother to discuss this on the community portal. So if you don't come back; bye, and thanks for all the fish! ;)--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:50, 9 August 2007 (EDT)

  • By the way, I love those Sarmy promotional videos on the website. Especially the second one. Tell whomever made it "Well done!" :) (Admin 22:54, 9 August 2007 (EDT))
  • It's a very sad thing you guys track your members down on boards.
    • Well, you posted a link to the Sarmy message board, so we checked it out. You also posted a link to our site using our logo, which I designed and personally think has been altered very nicely for the needs of your site. I wouldn't call that "tracking down", but just checking things out. I don't think there's anything wrong with checking out the links that are on our site, either for the purpose of making sure the content we have here is legitimate, or just to check out another Heroes-related site. I have to agree with Admin, I think is very cool, but I disagree on one point: it's the first promotional video which is superior. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:49, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
    • Yeah, Ryan's right. I was just checking out the links on the Sarmy page. Hardly qualifies as tracking someone down. :) (Admin 09:54, 10 August 2007 (EDT))
