* I don't see any reason to. We already have people mixing up ''Slow Burn'' the webisode with Slow Burn the iStory. More splitting means more confusing. Also, we don't know who wrote which parts, just the five writers who wrote the whole thing. I'm not opposed to splitting it, I just 1) have some concerns about it, and 2) don't see any reason to split. I don't mind splitting the history on the character pages, but I think putting all the summaries on one collective page is fine. Rather, I don't see the harm. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 19:14, 8 October 2009 (EDT) | |||

* In splitting the pages, I realized that we lose a lot of good information on this page, like the notes and the behind the scenes images (which I think add to the site). Additionally, a lot of pages link directly to this page as a general page about the webisode series. One page
I've set up this webisode series as one page. There are some issues with this series, like the name, and whether it should be one page or multiple pages. To discuss those issues, see here. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:40, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
non-usa
can someone get the video onto Utube or some place and leave a link for those of us outside of the US. It's always really annoying to ask but otherwise we never get to see it cause NBC don't stream outside USA. So if anyone can post it or leave a link it would be much appreciated. --mc_hammark 17:51, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
- I don't know how to do that. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:57, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
- If you have realplayer then it allows you to download the video, then all you need to do is post it to a youtube account. I would do it but it needs the video to stream and it won't for me cause i'm outside of the US. --mc_hammark 17:59, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
- I don't use realplayer. I find that there are too many junky ads, popups, reminders, etc. Ugh. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:13, 1 October 2009 (EDT)

Where?
Where is this webisode? I can't find it on Youtube, Hulu, or even the NBC Heroes website. Where did everyone else see it?--Catalyst · Talk · HL 19:34, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
- It's on the front of the new iStory page. I think the link is on the non-talk page of this page..~~IHH—Talk 20:05, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
The tattoo
Did I get it right? Did Lydia shape it without Samuel's help? Does it mean Samuel never really manipulated her tattos? AltesUTC CH
- No, that's not right. Lydia didn't shape it, and neither did Samuel. She said it moves all on its own (which is why she's worried about her daughter). She never said anything about the other tattoos. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:13, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
Name
Haven't the new webisode name is : "Time is now : Lydia's tale"? TanderixUTCR
- Do you have a source for that? The commercial on Monday and the marketing director for Retrofit both called it Slow Burn. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:12, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
- In the Italian site (is in italian, use google translate). TanderixUTCR 20:16 (italy time), 2 october 2009 (EDT)
- Isn't that a fan site? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:03, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
- The ODI calls it "Time is Now: Lydia's Tale" in this article. They got this from Dawn Oliveri, so I think it is possible.--Ratclaws 19:11, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
- They're a fan site, and so are we. We got our name from the commercial and from the crew at Retrofit. I'm not sure which is a better source, or if one is more reliable than the other. I think in the end, there are lots of different names being ascribed to this thing, and I've even heard producers and writers calling it different things. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:19, 2 October 2009 (EDT)

Okay, hopefully this will help. This is from Joe Tolerico: "The Site Section: Interactive Story. The Book Name: Slow Burn. The Chapter title: Step Right Up." I sent him an email back asking, "So is there a title for the videos?" He said, "Not that I know of, just Slow Burn." I asked him about each individual part, and he said, "We are calling them part 1 - 10." Hope that helps. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:45, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
Photos
I had an agreement with the marketing director for Retrofit. He asked me if I wanted to post some behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of Slow Burn (see here). I don't know if NBC is going to be posing any BTS photos, but I haven't seen any yet, and usually they jump on those right away. Anyway, I don't see the harm in posting some. Plus, Retrofit will grant us an interview with Chris Hanada and Tanner Kling when the webisode series is over. I think it's a win-win deal, personally. Plus, the photos are cool! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:07, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
Step Right Up
I believe "Step Right Up" is the title of the iStory chapter for Slow Burn, not the title of the first part of the webisode Slow Burn. I might be wrong. I know, it's very confusing with all the mixed media. I think it's awesome (and groundbreaking) what NBC is doing, but it's very confusing to know what to call what. In fact, in talking with the writers and producers, even they seem confused as to what to call it sometimes. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:46, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
- I emailed Joe Tolerico and asked him what the parts are being called. He said, "We are calling them part 1 - 10." -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:46, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
Split
I believe we should split this into multiple parts. It's clear that each week's installment is a single "part" and equivalent to the parts of the previous webisodes series. I think the main concern with splitting is that each "part" is very short compared to the parts of the previous webisodes, but I think we should still split into Slow Burn, Part 1, Slow Burn, Part 2, since we are basically already doing this on character history pages. --Radicell 03:27, 8 October 2009 (EDT)
