The player chooses to go to the "Maintenance Chamber" first to keep the workers away from Red Eye. Upon arriving there, the player tells the workers that they are their friends. One worker questions why the player and the Primatech contractor are carrying machine guns, then. The player then replies that their enemies plant bombs on dams and, after explaining the situation to them, promises to help them get off them dam if they avoid Red Eye. The leader of the workers then asks what the player intends to do now, and the player needs to reply that the player is going to take care of Red Eye.
The Primatech contractor then follows the player next door to the "Generator Room" and asks for a plan on dealing with Red Eye. However, before the player can respond, a door to the room swings open behind them and Red Eye himself is standing there. Red Eye leaps back and starts to close the door just as the player and Primatech contractor spot him and begin raising their guns. Then, as his eyes flash red and rage begins to affect them, Anna cries out for Red Eye to stop. Instead of trying to shoot, the player needs to surrender.
The player throws down the player's gun and shouts for Anna to tell Red Eye to stop. Red Eye allows the rage to fade and Anna explains that he knows whom the player is. The player then explains the situation to Red Eye about the battle below, the bomb in the dam, the Kill Squad soldiers on the top deck, and the workers in the next room, and Red Eye agrees to help in exchange for them getting Anna out safely no matter what. The player agrees, and suggests that Red Eye take care of the Kill Squad's soldiers while the player and Primatech contractor take care of the bomb and the workers help Anna get away.

Choosing to handle Red Eye first, the player leads the Primatech contractor towards the "Generator Room", where they overhear Red Eye and Anna talking from the next room. Anna asks Ricardo to listen to her, saying that she knows how terrible these people are, but if he goes on like this he will be the same as them. Ricardo (a.k.a. Red Eye) replies that it doesn't matter anymore whether he is better, worse, or the same; but Anna says it matters to her cause he brought her into this situation. Ricardo then apologizes, saying he never should have brought her here.
The Primatech player then knocks on the door, saying that it's a friend and they need her help. After a long silence, the door opens and Anna looks up at the player. Red Eye is behind Anna, trying to hold her back but does not engage his ability. The player explains about the battle below, the Kill Squad's explosives, and the soldiers on the top deck, and Red Eye agrees to help on one condition. The Primatech contractor teases that he will get his boss on the phone and have the paperwork faxed over for a whole contract, but Red Eye just wants them to get Anna out of there safely, no matter what happens and the player agrees to do so. Red Eye then says he will take care of the Kill Squad's soldiers while they defuse the bomb.
The Pinehearst player then leads the Primatech contractor to the "Maintenance Chamber" to tell the workers the plan in case something goes wrong. The chamber is a very dark room. When the contractors enter, the player ducks a lead pipe and tells the workers that they are their friends. One worker questions why the player and the Primatech contractor are carrying machine guns, then. The player then replies that their enemies plant bombs on dams and, after explaining the situation to them, gets them to agree to help with their plan.

To reassess the situation, Red Eye, the player, and the Primatech contractor head back up to the control shed and check the cameras. The Primatech contractor spots a blind spot along the water's edge and notes they could swim behind the dam and defuse the explosives or just charge and hope Red Eye's magic works. Red Eye then spots and points out that the Kill Squad leaders, Lloyd, Sean, Thomas and Joseph, are getting out of wetsuits and into the truck at the far end. The Pinehearst contracted player tells Red Eye to focus on helping them so they can stop the bombs, but he doesn't pay attention until the Primatech contractor tells him that he will kill Sean Fallon. The contractor explains to the player that he meant it because the squad put Red Eye's wife and kids in garbage bags, and that he knows cause he found them.
To avoid the sniper fire, the player then needs to decide to sneak to the bombs in the water intake with the Primatech contracted player. Red Eye bids the player and other contractor "boa sorte" (good luck in Portuguese), and the two sneak across the upper deck and over the railing. Once getting near the packs, the Primatech contractor notes they are chemical fuses likely set for a couple minutes, but he can't really tell the time. The two then drop in the water and begin ripping out the fuses, tossing them onto the ice; but before they finish, a gunshot rings out but not directed towards them. The Primatech contractor bids Red Eye good luck, but the player spots the Kill Squad leaders on the river bank crouching around a sniper rifle as it goes off again. The player tells his current partner about the rifle and that the squad will likely kill Anna and Red Eye. However, the Primatech contractor notes that they haven't defused enough explosives yet to stop the dam from blowing and climbing up now would get one of them shot, so they need to keep at it.
Eventually, the player and Primatech contractor meet in the middle of the dam and finish defusing all the explosive packs. The player then notes that it is silent up top and they climb up. The Kill Squad truck and sniper are gone and bodies lie scattered across the dam. The dam workers are gathered with Anna close to the security shack near another body, and the player and Primatech contractor rush over and kneel down to find that it's Red Eye's body. A sniper had shot him through the heart, and Anna is crying. The Primatech contractor then gets back to his feet, shakes the player's hand, and confirms that he is leaving. He points toward the far shore where the Kill Squad's truck was sitting and notes that they couldn't have gotten far. The Pinehearst contracted player replies that the Kill Squad has lost everything and that Primatech will probably not continue chasing them, and that Pinehearst won't be. However, the Primatech contractor notes his promise to Red Eye as he walks away. The player then looks at Anna, still crying over Red Eye's body, and tells the contractor to wait up.

Choosing to head directly to the water intake to stop the bomb, the Primatech and Pinehearst contractors sneak down to and along the ice along backside of the dam such that they remain out of sight of the Kill Squad soldiers above. They stop when the Primatech contractor spots a gap in the ice where a man in a wetsuit is up to his elbows in a bulky bag tied to the grill and is attaching fuses to the explosives. The player chooses to wait for the swimmers to finish, and they spot the four leaders of the Kill Squad (Sean, Thomas, Lloyd, and Joseph) exit the water and heard for their truck on the war shore. The contractors then slide into the water and begin defusing the bombs. They begin digging into each sack of explosives until they find the fuses and detonators, strip them and move on to the next sack.
No one notices the contractors for a long time; but in the middle of their work, they hear shouts above them on the dam, and then gunfire. The Primatech contractor notes that Red Eye must have arrived, and climbs out of the water onto a narrow ledge while shivering violently. The Pinehearst player chooses to climb back up the ladder and find people fighting an all-out brawl created by Red Eye. Before the player can warn the other contractor or get off the ladder, Red Eye makes eye contact and the player chooses to ask for his help. The player explains that they are disarming the explosives, and Red Eye doesn't attack. Then Anna screams out. She and the dam workers are kneeling at the far end of the dam, having been taken prisoner by the Kill Squad. Sean Fallon stands over them with a gun and the other squad leaders are pointing their guns at Anna. Sean Red Eye to surrender, but Red Eye shouts "No!" to him. Regardless, Sean continues and tells Red Eye to walk towards them and lay on the ground with his face covered, explaining that the girl will die a painful death from a gut wound if they even feel a twinge from his ability. Red Eye does as Sean says, and Sean walks up to him and jabs a hypodermic syringe into Red Eye's neck. The brawl on the dam then immediately begins to fade.
The Primatech contractor then asks what's happening, and the player ducks back down the ladder and explains that the Kill Squad now has Red Eye and Anna. The Primatech contractor asks if the squad is coming for them, so the Pinehearst contractor listens. Hearing groaning Kill Squad soldiers, then a truck horn, and then the soldiers' walking in away in their boots, the player deduces they haven't been spotted. The Primatech contractor tells the player that they will get Anna back. The Pinehearst player doubts it, but notes that it's possible--that Red Eye and Anna have gotten out of worse situations. The Primatech contractor then asks for the player to get off the ladder as he is still up to his knees in ice water, and the player does so.

The player chooses to attack the squad member in the water and opens fire with a rifle.
As the echo of the gunshot fades, the other squad members above begin shouting. The player notes that he isn't sure if he got the swimmer as he dove. The other swimmers retreat quickly, leaving the explosives and the player begins tossing as many fuses as possible into the open water while the Primatech contractor stands guard. However, members of the Kill Squad soon gather at the above railing and begin firing down into the shadows at them. The contractors then huddle behind a concrete support post and on on a thin ledge, ankle deep in freezing water. After a short while, more squad members gather above them and they shout for the contractors to throw their guns into the water.
With no other choice, the contractors do so and surrender to the Kill Squad. Reaching the top of ladder, the Pinehearst player comes face to face with Lloyd, who recognizes the player and comments how it's like a high school reunion, minus the barbecue. The player notes that it's also with more guns, and Lloyd says not necessarily. Sean Fallon, Thomas Drake, and Joseph Gallagher then walk up. Sean asks if the player is enjoying Alaska so far, and the player says so. Sean thanks the player for coming and bringing the player's friends, and Thomas asks what to do with them. Sean says to just sit them here while they finish up down below.
Then, to prevent themselves from being taken in Red Eye's attack, the player chooses to inform Sean and the other squad members that Red Eye is down below planning an attack. Sean gives out orders and says that giving that information is a nice gesture--that he might even owe the player. A group of the Kill Squad then form around the control shed and staircase entrance, hiding in the shadows. Meanwhile, Sean and some of the other squad members go over the railing and continue to arm the explosives.
When Red Eye emerges onto the upper deck, Tom Drake slips up behind him and knocks him out cold with the butt of his gun. The other waiting squad members then disappear down the staircase and return with Anna and the dam workers at gunpoint. The player asks what is going to happen to him, and Thomas replies that he expects it will eventually involve killing him, and that the player can't say that Red Eye doesn't have it coming. The Primatech contractors comments that they put him through hell, but Thomas notes that that's war. The other squad members then return, and Sean orders them all to move out, putting Red Eye and the girl in the truck. Lloyd asks what is to with the rest, and Sean says to handcuff them and leave them on the river bank, making sure that they have a good view. The Kill Squad does so and the player stares and their feet, commenting that the Kill Squad won.

Then, the Kill Squad's truck starts up and drives onto the dam, knocking things out of the way. Someone that sounds like Lloyd shouts that Red Eye is gone and the girl is down. Sean Fallon says that this is over, and to get them out of there, and the truck drives away. The contractors then climb up the ladder and find Anna dead near the control shed, surrounded by workers from the dam. Red Eye is farther down on the dam, kneeling with his face in his hands, facing Anna's body. The player walks by him and he stays facing down. Neither person says a word and the player keeps going.

The player and the Primatech contractor try to kick them away, but their feet are blocked and they get beaten with guns. The guards don't seem aware of the objects' real purpose. Other Kill Squad soldiers run up, but they too join the fight. The contractors then also are affected by Red Eye's ability. When the Pinehearst player comes to, the player has a vague memory of the dam being wiped of life, and then a giant bang that never stopped.

Without a word, the contractors pull out their rifles, aim and fire and the sniper cries out. Their truck roars to life and the squad leaders retreat down the dirt road in it. The player then shouts that they need to get everyone off the dam and turns and runs down the upper deck.
A few minutes later, the player is sitting on the bank of the river, a deep canyon with wet walls. The dam used to be nearby and the player's ears are still ringing with the bang of its departure. The gunfire from the valley below has stopped at last, but the player suspects that Carla and Aaron didn't survive the wall of water that was released. The Pinehearst player suggests they get walking towards Florida or Cancun, but the Primatech contractors says he is frozen to the ground, so to go without him and let him know how it turns out.
Anna and Red Eye look up at the player, who asks them what's next for them and if they will continue on the trail for the Kill Squad, adding that there shouldn't be any competition from Primatech or Pinehearst anymore. Red Eye replies that first, they need to get Anna away from there, but just silently stares away when the player asks what then. Anna glances at him, then at the player with sad eyes.

The Primatech contractor says that it looks like Red Eye is a keeper, but then a high-powered rifle shot passes by just as they jump into the freezing ice water.
The contractors begin disarming the bombs, but there's a lot of them, and it's unknown how much time is left due to the use of chemical fuses.

Red Eye then spots and points out that the Kill Squad leaders, Lloyd, Sean, Thomas, and Joseph, are getting out of wetsuits and into the truck at the far end.
The player decides for them to trust Red Eye and charge onto the Upper Deck towards the bombs. Red Eye bids the player and other contractor "boa sorte" (good luck in Portuguese), and the two contractors begin sprinting towards the bombs. The Kill Squad soldiers are heading toward their truck on the far shore and don't spot them. Then shouts go up and a gunshot rings out, but the squad members are fighting each other.
The sniper is continues to fire at them, and the player chooses to evacuate. The player yells for everyone to leave and the contractors rush down the Upper Deck, ducking as a bullet passes by. The dam workers begin rushing up the staircase and towards the end of the dam. Upon reaching Red Eye and Anna, the player shouts for them to run too, but then gets shot and collapses onto the concrete. Red Eye and the Primatech contractor pick the player up, but then the three of them collapse when the bombs go off. When the smoke and dust clears, it becomes visible that water is roaring through gaps like teeth in the top of the dam, but the rest is holding.
The Primatech contractor grabs the player's hand, saying that they did it; but the player rejects him, saying that he thinks he is going to die due to him. The Primatech contractor then comments that the player probably will die, and Anna calls him a jerk. She opens the player's clothes, bloodying her hands, and Red Eye notes that he doesn't think the bullet hit any major organs.
The Primatech contractor then apologizes for not getting Sean Fallon for him, but notes that Pinehearst and Primatech will give up now since the Kill Squad lost everything. Red Eye then looks at the player, then at Anna and says that "maybe everything was enough". He notes that at least they are alive and they'll see what tomorrow brings.

The player claims to have done it to save her, but Anna claims not to be his prisoner and to have gone with him because she wanted to convince him to stop. The Primatech contractor notes Red Eye is coughing up some blood from his lungs, and the player plans for the workers to carry Anna and Red Eye off the dam when the coast is clear.
Upon leaving the room, the contractors look at each other and player notes that the player thought that would feel a lot more satisfying. The Primatech contractor replies that he had found Red Eye's wife and daughter in garbage bags, courtesy of the Kill Squad. He adds that Red Eye might not have deserved a bullet in the chest, but he would probably have thanked the player for it. The player then notes that Red Eye isn't dead yet, and they head to the water intake.
Upon reaching the Upper Deck, the contractors spot Kill Squad soldiers are fanning out across the dam with their guns at the ready. The player deduces that the squad must have heard the gun shot, and the Primatech contractor recommends taking them by surprise and charging them. He adds that they might think there are more of them when the dam workers start piling out. The Pinehearst player instead recommends laying down covering fire for Anna and the workers to get out, but the contractors note that both plans are likely to fail.
The player decides that they should charge them, but the contractors don't make it more than ten yards before they are both gunned down. A couple of yards away, the Primatech contractor gives a weak thumbs-up and says he is not a pessimist, but a realist and his eyes close.

The player chooses for them to lay down cover fire, and the contractors burst out of the stairwell and take cover behind the control shack, firing at the Kill Squad soldiers until they drop to the ground for cover. The player then calls for Anna, and the dam workers come running out with her and two are carrying Red Eye. One of the workers gets shot and falls down, but the rest make it out of range. In the distance, Anna turns back and faces the contractors, her hands pressed to her face. The contractors then both find and say they are out of ammunition. They hear the Kill Squad's soldiers approaching and the player recommends they make a break for it. However, as soon as the player stands up, the player is shot in the chest in a wall of noise and fire. The player has a brief sensation of flying, and then blackness occurs.

The two contractors and Red Eye head up to the shadows of the control shed and exchange glances. Red Eye nods once, and says "boa sorte" (good luck in Portuguese). The contractors then charge out onto the Upper Deck, sprinting toward the water intake. The Kill Squad soldiers are heading toward the truck on the far shore and don't spot them. Then, shouts go up, a gunshot rings out, and the soldiers on the deck begin fighting each other. A moment later, the player and Primatech contractor reach the railing and spot the four leaders of the Kill Squad (Sean Fallon, Thomas Drake, Lloyd Collins, and Joseph Gallagher) setting up the explosives. They spot the contractors, turn and swim away from the contractors, leaving the bags of explosives drifting in the water. Most of the explosives haven't been set. Red Eye says that the leaders are getting away, and the player tells him to focus on the squad members on deck while they go after the leaders.
The contractors follow the leaders swim path along the deck, but they run into a couple of enraged Kill Squad soldiers that turn their rage on them. By the time the contractors knock out the two soldiers, the Kill Squad leaders are climbing out of the water near their truck at the edge of the dam. The Primatech contractor then prepares to shoot at them with his assault rifle, but Anna screams out for help. The maintenance workers of the dam are spilling out of the staircase and piling on top of the closest person: Red Eye, who is asking Anna to help him. However, Anna is crouching in the security shack, holding her head in her hands; and to make matters worse, the Kill Squad soldiers are turning towards them.

Though the Primatech contractor pleads to continue, the player convinces him to go back to help. As the contractors rush toward Red Eye and Anna, the Kill Squad soldiers begin to regain their senses and face the mob of workers. The player tries to explain that they are friends to the workers as they force them off Red Eye at gunpoint. Some of the workers are enraged with Red Eye's ability, and the player is forced to knock them away with the butt of a gun. Finally, the workers fall back, staring at the staggering Kill Squad soldiers behind the contractors. The player shouts to run, and the workers, Red Eye, and Anna join the contractors in running towards the end of the dam. However, the Pinehearst player gets shot and collapses onto the concrete. Red Eye and Primatech contractor each grab one of the player's arms to help the player continue, but the three all fall down when an explosion goes off on the dam. The player asks what happened, and the Primatech contractor explains that some of the charges that got set on the dam had gone off. When the smoke and dust clears, it becomes visible that water is roaring through gaps like teeth in the top of the dam, but the rest is holding.
The Primatech contractor grabs the player's hand, saying that they did it; but the player rejects him, saying that he thinks he is going to die due to him. The player gives in to the Primatech contractor's plea to continue after the Kill Squad leaders, and side by side, the contractors rush the end of the dam where the deck turns into a dirt track. The Kill Squad leaders are running toward the van, parked in the brush. Hesitating for only a moment, the Pinehearst player contractor opens fire on them. Seconds later, the four are lying dead in the Alaskan soil and yellow flames flicker underneath the van.
The Primatech contractor notes that the mission is accomplished, but now turns to face the dam with the player. The Kill Squad soldiers are running off the opposite end and behind them everyone is dead, including Red Eye and Anna. The contractors pick their way through to their bodies, and the player falls to the player's knees. The Primatech contractor then says they should go in case some of the other explosives are still armed, and scoops up Anna's body when the player doesn't budge. He says for them to get her away from there.

The player then replies that their enemies plant bombs on dams and, after explaining the situation to them, promises to help them get off them dam if they avoid Red Eye. The leader of the workers then asks what the player intends to do now, and the player chooses to reply that they are going to take care of the bomb.
The contractors then return to the control shed to reassess the situation. They examine the closed-circuit cameras again and see that the swimmers are finishing up with the explosives; the Kill Squad soldiers on the dam are on high alert; and that Anna and Red Eye are still talking, but are much quieter now. They then debate on how to proceed. The player gives the following options: One, wait for the swimmers to leave, then swim up behind the dam and defuse the bombs while the Kill Squad is evacuating; two, charge the squad members and hope they think they are more of than they really are and retreat; or three, pin them down so that the Kill Squad has no choice but to pull the fuses.
The Pinehearst contractor decides that they should wait for them to leave, so they do so and spot the four leaders of the Kill Squad (Sean, Thomas, Lloyd, and Joseph) exit the water and heard for their truck on the war shore.
