Barbara?
- How can you tell this is Barbara?? I mean Tracy would have known the doctor if she was on a picture with Dr. Zimmerman, but her memory could have been erased, is there proof that this is in fact Barbara? --Futurepeter 10:04, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- Yes, there's a lot of speculating that we could do about Tracy's memory being erased at some point, but we have no reason to believe otherwise. Plus, Tracy has never mentioned having a blank spot in her memory, and most other people who have had their memories erased have made some reference to not being able to remember something. And we can also pretty well assume it's not Tracy because if she were standing with Dr. Zimmerman, she would probably have known him when she met him. We can assume the same thing about Niki--we've been with her since the inception of her powers, and we've never even heard of Dr. Zimmerman until now. Certainly, it's possible that Niki met the doctor before April 2006, or in a storyline that we didn't see, but that's very unlikely and wouldn't match the storytelling devices normally employed on the show. The best evidence, though, is that when a woman (Tracy) came to Zimmerman's door who looks just like the woman in the picture, Zimmerman called her "Barbara". If he were close with Niki or Tracy (well, close enough to have a picture of her in his home), he would have most likely thought that the woman was Niki or Tracy. Plus, we have never seen Niki or Tracy wear their hair in this fashion--it's not proof, but it's certainly very good evidence. But no matter--Barbara is a triplet who looks like Ali Larter--even if there's some huge twist in storytelling and this isn't Barbara, it's the best image we have of what she looks like. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:58, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- Ok fair enough, maybe it gets clarified further on in the season -- Futurepeter 13:29, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
- I hope so. It's a pretty cool story line, I think. It's about time they've given such a terrific actress a story line to match her acting chops. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:15, 8 October 2008 (EDT)
