McSorley's son brings a shotgun into the Wandering Rocks Pub.

Character History

McSorley's son storms into the Wandering Rocks Pub, accompanied by an accomplice with a tire iron. They tell Caitlin they aren't there for her brother, but for her and some fun. Peter has manged to escape his bonds and is about to slip out the back window when he hears the two come in. When he sees them grab Caitlin he takes down one thug. McSorley's son is shocked and whips out a shotgun. Reacting upon instinct Peter knocks it away with enough force to crack the tiles above the fireplace. When McSorley's son charges at him Peter punches him into a wall. The two thugs flee as Caitlin looks at Peter in amazement.

Later, Ricky informs Peter that one of the thugs was McSorley's son, and that Peter had turned "a simple problem into a blood feud."

• McSorley is a common name in Ireland.
• In an Inside Heroes video, Ruth Ammon said that the Wandering Rocks design was inspired by the real-life McSorley's in New York. McSorley was named in the pub's honor.
