Paul E. Sylar is another son of Mr. Gray and brother to Gabriel Gray who also took the watch-brand name "Sylar" as an alias. None Mr. Gray, the watchmaker, may have had more than one son, according to the name of his watchshop.

- Paul E. Sylar was the original idea for Sylar, featured on the unaired pilot. He has been replaced by Gabriel Gray, so he doesn't exist on the show.

Gabriel Gray replaced his role on the show. That doesn't mean the person himself was replaced.

+ The name had to come from someone, presumably by the name of Sylar.
