The Yamagato Fellowship is an organization dedicated to managing the affairs of evolved humans and protecting them from harm.
History
The Yamagato Fellowship was founded by Peter Petrelli in 2011 as a body to manage the affairs of evolved humans ("SGs") in the United States and around the world. Peter used the framework and finances of the Yamagato Fellowship, run by Kimiko Nakamura and used to support the efforts of the recently deceased Hiro Nakamura, when tasked by President Tom DeLancey with controlling the evolved human population.
The Fellowship is led by Petrelli, who is titled as the organization's "Grand Master". He is supported by a group of "Senior Fellows", of which there are eight (the other founders of the organization).
