**I think it looks nice. I actually think it would be easier to include span ids on the timeline. It needs to be done anyway, so why not just include a span id for the article name? Plus, if an event doesn't quite fit under one date, it'll still just link to the timeline, which is absolutely fine. &mdash; <font color=#0147FA>RyanGibsonStewart</font> (<font color=#0147FA>talk</font>) 15:53, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

Use it or Lose it?

I made this template, but before I slap it on a dozen of articles, I'd like some thoughts on it. I have some suggestions and questions:

  • Should we make a field to enter in the date? the #PAGENAME pipe doesn't work.
  • Should we worry about getting the timeline itself up to par before approaching this?

See an example at Homecoming (event) before you vote to Use it or Lose it. -- Ohmyn0(talk) 15:26, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

    • I think it looks nice. I actually think it would be easier to include span ids on the timeline. It needs to be done anyway, so why not just include a span id for the article name? Plus, if an event doesn't quite fit under one date, it'll still just link to the timeline, which is absolutely fine. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:53, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
      • I added the span id, and it works fine. I'm actually going to go add some more span ids right now and do a bit of cleanup on the timeline. It really needs it. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:17, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
