Charlie's birthday party was celebrated at the Burnt Toast Diner in Midland, TX about six months before Hiro Nakamura and Ando Masahashi arrive there on their way to New York City to meet Peter Petrelli.
About
Seven Minutes to Midnight
Charlie tells Hiro and Ando she received a Japanese phrase book at the party, but only started looking through it last week. Nevertheless, her ability to speak and read Japanese is quite well advanced.
A photograph of Charlie's party is posted on the wall as part of a collage of photos of the diner and its patrons. After Hiro travels into the past to stop Charlie's murder, the photograph changes to include him at the party.
