Eric Doyle is locked up by the Company in a Level 5 cell at Primatech Research as a means of keeping him "safe".

After using his ability to harm others, the company apprehends Doyle and locks him up in Level 5.

The cell has a security module that "disables" Doyle's ability. When the module is shorted out, Doyle can use his ability.
