** That's fine, we can talk about moving the article title back to "Thompson, Jr.", but we won't be moving it to "Eric Thompson, Jr." I moved it to "Eric Thompson" because it's a more formal name than "Thompson, Jr." Just like [[Linderman]] is more often called "Linderman" or "Mr. Linderman", it's not a very complete name, so we moved his article to "Daniel Linderman". -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 07:04, 16 September 2008 (EDT) |

Revision as of 11:08, 16 September 2008
- Is his name Blake? I thought Elle said that his name is not Blake but Thompson in the GN.--Rvsdl 09:47, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Thompson is his last name. I call some people by their last names too; it's common practice. -- Seclusion talk / contribs 09:49, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah...but Elle specifically says his name's not really Blake.Fyre2387 19:21, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- I noticed that too. Here's an exact quote: "And I'll even let you in on a little secret. His name's not really Blake. It's Thompson. He and I grew up together in the Company." --Yamawhata? 20:41, 15 April 2008 (EDT)
- Good point. In the EW article, this guy is described as "the son of HRG's former boss, Thompson, a young guy without powers who's currently being dubbed only as Thompson Jr.". Based on that and based on Elle's comment about his name not really being Blake, I totally support moving this to "Thompson Jr." and listing Blake as an alias. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:07, 15 April 2008 (EDT)

Junior
I'm not sure what there is to discuss, but Thompson's first name is Eric. There is no evidence that his name is "Eric Thompson, Jr." Junior could just as easily be a nickname as it could be a formal part of his name. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:54, 16 September 2008 (EDT)
