** Ah, thanks for the answer. As to whether or not it was a [http://www.walkmancentral.com/ Sony Walkman] or a generic personal stereo, it doesn't look to me like a Walkman (Did Usutu say it was one?). To me, it looks more like a personal CD player but not a Sony Diskman. Maybe it's a generic CD or cassette player from Radioshack. Capitalization
