To me, this makes the most sense. It cleans up a lot of junk on the page, including all those external links and unnecessary categorization. Plus, it's an easy way to update everything on a mass scale. For instance, I personally don't like having a separate section for "Direct Image Links" (so I simply included it in the External Links)...but if we one day decide we want a separate section for something, it's really easy to do with one edit, rather than 40+ edits.
