I agree, it's better but it is a duplicate...

*It's a little different, but has a similar purpose, I suppose. However, that template was created back when we used a disambig note at the top of pages. It's a lot more cumbersome (in my opinion) because it requires so much more input--I'd rather just type in the one line. I don't think that template is being used anywhere, and it should probably be deleted. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 23:41, 21 August 2007 (EDT)

** Just tested <nowiki>{{disambiglead}}</nowiki> and the note doesn't auto-show up at the top of the page. However, it doesn't create a 'See also' header like this template does and I like the improvement. I double-checked and confirmed the other template isn't being used, so I'm going to mark it afd and change the help on <nowiki>{{disambig}}</nowiki> to point to this template instead.--[[User:MiamiVolts|MiamiVolts]] ([[User_talk:MiamiVolts|talk]]) 00:05, 22 August 2007 (EDT)

*** Actually, this one doesn't create a "See Also" header--that should be done manually (which is why it's in the usage section and not included in the template itself). I know disambiglead doesn't autoshow at the top of the page (I don't think it's possible to make something do that, or if it is, I' don't know how to do it). I was just saying it's a relic from when we used to put our disambigs at the top, à la Wikipedia....I have no problem getting rid of disambig lead. I don't think it's been used for, golly, for a couple months. And I would think it's pretty outdated as far as our standard format is considered now (though you might want to use it at BionicWiki). I guess I'll leave it up for discussion in case anybody is opposed to 86ing it, and I'll delete it after a few days. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 00:28, 22 August 2007 (EDT)

Isn't this a duplicate template? Doesn't {{disambiglead}} do the same thing?--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:34, 21 August 2007 (EDT)
