Possible locations
So they are in Central America, heading north... their previous whereabouts (from Hana's newspaper article) were in Copán, Honduras, so if we can assume this is happening in real time, that would place them somewhere north of that but south of San Cristóbal, New Mexico, USA.
It's also possible they are referring to another San Cristóbal. There's a San Cristóbal in Venezuela and Guatemala, and a San Cristóbal de las Casas in Mexico. If we can't assume continous timeline, then we have to add San Cristóbal (Bogotá) in Colombia, and San Cristóbal volcano in Nicaragua. Gee, that doesn't really narrow it down much, does it, now?
